I was tracking a package and got concerned about the tracking info so i called the customer service number and left my callback number. They called back (earlier that they projected) and i got the most amazing customer service person. Her name is Benita, FFCN00 and she made me feel like I was the most important person she had to talk to and help.
She confirmed my information and tracking number and had an answer for me in a matter of minutes.
She was absolutly amazing!
Increased my confidence in our USPS service very much appreciated!

Unfortunately this is 2nd time USPS lost my package, Off course I did not insured them thus there is no way to put a claim that is crazy, they admitted and confirmed that they lost it thought there is no accountability.
No wonder UPS and Fed-ex are growing every day and sadly US post office is continuing their tribble services - Extremely disappointed.
I had to update my kids passport and the website clearly says, parents holding green card need not submit address proof. We just took our green cards to the Ellicott City branch with an appointment. The first lady that we went to was so rude and was talking to us in frustrating tone and wanted some address proof. She did not want to hear us out. We live very close to USPS and My husband said, he can very quickly get the address proof for her but she said, he cannot leave too. I don't know what her problem was. Then a nice colleague of her name Ayesha said that for parents with green cars, there is no need for address proof. Still the first lady was not ready to accept that. And very rudely she told Ayesha that "Then you might have to do this. I am not ready to handle this case". Thankfully, Ayeshe was very kind and took all the proofs that we had and was very polite while talking to us.
I wanted to tell the first lady I went to that she needs to update herself or else request the website to be updated as she wants.
And I wish there are people like Ayesha everywhere. This world will be a nice place.
That's the last 3 day delivery I'll ever trust USPS with. The last one took 9 days and the present one just took 11 days and I missed a deadline. The service is broken.
I ordered something online and was shipped uspsand ordered it on 13th of December and now 23rd of December and still have not got it and they keep telling me to check online and they never update or ship from 2nd stop that it was scanned.
Biggest loser Fair Haven mail carrier hangs on to your mail and lies about it saying, 'you were on vacation'... for 2 and 1/2 MONTHS. Who takes vacation that long all I can say is, DO YOUR JOB! YOU HAVE ONE JOB... JUST ONE... DELIVER THE MAIL!
USPS employees from the top to the bottom should be replaced. They do such sloppy jobs and with attitudes. Quite a lot of our certified mails never gotten delivered and they never be found either.
Lost my check in the mail right before the holidays I will never do business with them again. It's been 3 weeks still haven't got my check and the place is only in Seattle Washington.

How can one company be so blatantly incompetent and not just one location or one distribution center but all of them. Lost packages super late packages etc.
Mail Deliverer doesn't ring my apartment buzzer to inform me I have a package, and puts a delivery notice that I have to go to the Rogers Park post office to pick up my parcel. This has occurred AT LEAST 4 time, and I filed a report with the post office and nothing came of that. I have quite using USPS for my eBay dealings and now use The UPS Store.

I worried about the post office closing because my little post office in New Mexico does a great job. But after dealing with the lazy, stupid slackers who run Yucca Valley I say WE DONT NEED THE POST OFFICE. UPS and FED EX actually BELIEVE in delivering your packages. Yucca Valley says WE DONT HAVE TO. When they don't deliver your packages and don't make a second attempt or final attempt.they just return it because their motto as far as more than ONE delivery attempt is WE DON'T HAVE TO. Lazy and stupid is a dangerous combo and probably why they keep the name of their postmaster a SECRET. I do a lot of business with Amazon and the biggest complaints they get are about the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. Lots of complaints about packages being "lost", postal workers stealing packages, and just the general incompetence that drips from the top down.The Yucca Valley post office could evaporate tomorrow and it would be an improvement ton the landscape.
Had to give a 1 star rating as there is no option to give a minus rating. USPS are liars and don't do anything to fix non-deliveries once they hand off your package to the local post office.
How tcan you say that my package was delivered 2 HOURS AGO when it very clearly wasn't. Or they'll say it was delivered but they just leave it outside the door despite there being a sign that says to bring it inside, I dont know where you get off lying like this but you need to stop and get your $#*! together.
I send an express impirtantbpackage but my recipient he didn't receive it at the exact time. I will never use usps in the future because this is the second time happening
Must be the worst courier on this planet it has taken them one month to deliver a packet from the UK to Spain it seem to go to the U S A on the tracker and back to the UK, when I check the tracker my packet is permanently transit, be warned if you use USPS you may never see your packet again possibly lost some where who knows were
Every Sunday when I have a delivery coming I open at 6am and I'm there until 6pm. The Sunday drivers NEVER even attempt the delivery. They feel since it is Sunday the business won't be open. 16 time this past year their Sunday drivers just blow off my deliveries.
The USPS needs to either educate these drivers or FIRE THEM for their incompetency.
I sent a package to my daughter. The postage was $15.50 for the first priority box. It was supposed to be delivered on 3/8/2021. However, my daughter received a slip instead. The slip stated she will have to go pick it up at the office location. By the way the location was far and rural. The postman told my daughter's roommate that we didn't pay for the postage. We went online to request a redeliver. However it says this office location will not be able to redeliver the package to her. First of all I paid $15.50 for the postage. Second, my daughter is a student and she doesn't drive. How does post office expect she can go to that rural location to pick the package up? Does the post office expect she spends $30 on Uber to pick up the package? This is very ridiculous!
Very obviously it was their fault because we have the receipt! It's ok we make mistake Sometimes because we are human. But post office should resolve the mistake/problem they made and redeliver the package to her. And make sure she received it as soon as possible. This is called "SERVICE". We paid what we should get. Post office should not request customer go pick it up because it was the problem they created! Especially during this COVID pandemic, my daughter has to find out how to get to that office location. This is absolutely not acceptable. We are very disappointed with their service :(
People wonder why we don't use USPS anymore, but if the service they are providing is so poor, why would we want to use that service? I had a box scheduled for pick up on a certain time and date. WHen I called USPS to inquire about why it was not picked up, I was transferred to 15 people, and one sent me to a USPS office that was closed. The customer service response was, "Read the fine print, cancel the order, and ask for a refund." THat was their help. They themselves don't want to do the work.
Next, the box dimensions and weight was listed on the information. They said they do not lift heavy boxes and would want my elderly parents with back problems to lift the boxes in the truck.
Thirdly, my mother weight 2 hours in AM on the scheduled time, then three hours in the evening outside during the time the office provided us in the cold weather, and now is at very high risk of getting a cold, and possibly pneumonia.
I do not understand why a business offers services when they do not want to do the work. This is why no one wants to use unprofessional, rude, and lazy services. If I could give a negative review, I would give negative points for USPS.
My packages are always late when usps brings them ALWAYS! But if it's fedex or anyone else it's always on time. It's so annoying to have paid priority mail and it still be late

Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
