Ordered a size too small. When I called the customer service rep was extreamly helpful and helped me get the right size shipped the same week. Although the boots still dont fit that great they are the size I needed and I believe its the boot style. Too late to return now that Ive worn them so, to the cobbler I go! Thanks again!

If I would have realized, there policy is to charge you for shipping all items back to them, regardless of the reason, I would not do business with them. Very important to read the return policy on these online companies.

I recently ordered the (Salomon Forces Quest 4D) boots. The delivery was fast, less than a week and exceeded all expectations. The boots fit great and there are no comfort issues. Im very hard on shoes so I no issues paying the higher price. So far these are holding up better than any others I have purchased elsewhere. Definitely quality stuff you wont be disappointed.
When the soldier mindset comes to market, the market wins. Arcteryx jacket is great, but I had to exchange for a size down. The process of this exchange was easy and simple. The customer service rep. Even responded 2 minutes after I sent out the request! After normal East Coast work hours! Id give extra stars if I could. Props to Kimberly Grady & the rest of the team for handling all of that.

I ordered the LEAF Arcteryx jacket for my husband as a surprise. They shipped it out immediately even though it was around the holidays and my husband got it before the estimated delivery date. When he received it, he loved it of course, but asked me if I let them know we were dual military for the 10% discount, I said now. So I emailed them and asked about it and they kindly refunded me the difference with no questions asked. Wonderful customer service and respect for the military

I am very pleased with the TR Mini-mil boots. Pros: They give just enough protection with great ground feel. They fit like I expected with wide toe box. Sturdy construction with no immediate issues of workmanship. Cons: Wish they had drain vents on instep like traditional jungle boots. I got blisters on first wear due to heel slippage... I did work through this and found solutions to limit slippage issue by modifing sock combination, adjust lacing tension, and applying lubricant to feet under socks (all techniques learned from 20 years in the Infantry). There also could be more snug in the mid foot section, as there seems to be loose material no matter how tight I pull the laces, this is not a major problem with comfort, just an initial observation.
Overall I highly recommend this boot to anyone wanting a minimalistic duty boot that looks good, is comfortable, and durable for years of use.
Dealing with US-Elitegear has been awesome. The best products at great prices all in one place. And the customer service is amazing. I guess I shouldnt be surprised with a veteran-owned operation... but its rare to find this type of quality and service these days.
I needed my boots for some short notice training following the Thanksgiving weekend. When I didn't receive delivery notification, I contacted customer service and promptly corrected the oversight. I only got a light break-in of the Salomon Sua Sponte before I ended up doing a 10-mile ruck with 40+ pounds in the rain. No blisters!
