Terribly poor customer service. Urban Outfitters has lost my return package itself and they are trying to transfer the problem to me and DHL. Now more than 7 months and 100 emails further, no money seen yet and on every email you get a content-less reply which does not take you any steps further.
Would give 0 stars if possible!
Horrible experience! Order was placed on a a Tuesday - Next Day Air, order confirmation received at 7:55 a.m. for a stock item. Now Friday evening, 7:24 p.m. and still has not shipped. Been calling all day. Cannot give me any information other than it's ready. Prices are low, but you're going to get what you pay for. Loser company!
Love their huge selection of Vans & Converse. Dig their sweats and the store is always having a sale. What's not to like?
I see a lot of unhappy peeps on this. I don't get why they're so angry? If you've got a problem, then just contact them. If it's still leading to no where, contact your credit card bank.
If everyone were forced to work in retail, they'll all be a tad more understanding and empathetic. No one's perfect & mistakes do happen. Be more human.
Getting back, Urban's totally the place to go if you want trendy styles. Perfect place for me & my gf to go. We just split into our individual sections and meet up in the Home section.
Shopping online is super easy too. Love Urban.
I always have an awesome experience ordering online from Urban outfitters! They do have a lot of pricey things on their website, which is why I tend to gravitate more towards their sale category, but it's not hard to find decently priced clothing! I've ordered from their website about six times in the last few years and I've only ever been charged at the door once! It was only about 10 bucks, but this is really great because I live in Canada, and you never know if you'll be hit by those awful charges at the door due to customs. All in all, Urban Outfitters is a great company, I love their clothing and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I'm sorry everyone keeps having bad experiences with them... I've ordered with them online a dozen times and have never had an issue receiving my package in a very timely manner and it's always been the correct item. When I've done returns, in store or via mail, I've been refunded quickly. No complaints from me.
Urban Outfitters promised delivery of my order before Christmas, and as it was a gift it would have been in order then to receive it before Christmas, but nothing was working about the delivery after ordering; not able to track the order, not any help and support at the customer service, they didn't want to help finding out where the parcel was and then pushing it to arrive in time. I should have ordered from another shop, this is a really bad service, for Christmas customers.
I love this store, but why is everything so ridiculously overpriced? Seriously, there is no point in ordering stuff from urban outfitter, apparently all their sales only happy and are applied in-store.
Having problems getting an online order to go through; it isn't on my side I can see the bank approval on transaction. Then, 2-3 minutes after the order confirmation email, I get another email says "Order cancelled."
After calling many times about this (ok, my daughter likes their clothes), no resolution.
Urban Outfitters can't explain why this is happening, and they can't fix it.
Also they continually ship the wrong items!
This is just beyond explanation in an economy where retail competes for consumer dollars.
I've convinced my daughter there are better places to shop (much better!).
Purchased a pair of pumas, the last pair actually that were being sold on urban outfitters.com for $75 dollars. 3 days later I received the shoes and they looked a bit worn, perhaps a return when I looked at the front of the box they had a sale tag that marked $39.99. I called about 13 times till someone finally answered to not answer my questions but to transfer me over to customer service, that only ended up providing an email so I could contact them via email. Its been about 3 days, haven't heard back & I'm highly upset. I have been a loyal customer for about 8 years and have now realized what trash hole this store is. They rob your money & don't care once they have it. They will not return it, exchange anything or ask you if you were happy with your purchase. I'm sure, everyone will catch on and let this store burn in hell. Thanks urban :D happy holidays

Instead had to use a gift card. First order was part delivered with test of items not actually in stock. Second order in still waiting for. Appalling delivery service. No updates, not actually dispatched despite a message to say so, still say awaiting collection by carrier. Unacceptable and hugely disappointing as clothes are needed for a holiday and it's now possibly too late. Other retailers such as ASOS have managed to get a delivery here, within 2 days, even though their order was made after this one. Won't be using again. If there was an option for no stars if use that.

I recently visited the Urban Outfitter store in Columbia SC to return a online purchase. It's been a while since I have shopped there in person but it has always been a pleasant experience in the past.
This time, immediately after entering the store, I was very distributed by the extremely loud music with absolutely filthy lyrics,
Not appropriate, nor becoming of a public place of business.
Management should seriously reconsider on what kind of songs are played in their stores and make sure that employees and supervising staff adhere to such policies. I definitely wouldn't want children to be subjected to this kind of language.
Ordered a £50 voucher on 27 Nov for my 16 yr old daughter. I should have oredered an e voucher but thought a proper voucher would be nicer. Regularly checked the tracker to be told Royal Mail experiencing delays. Checked on 23 Dec as still not received with the same message. I emailed straight away to be told that the item had been signed for. I have a complaint pending but after seeing these reviews am not holding my breath. It could be a dodgy delivery driver but how do you prove that? I will never buy vouchers online again or shop at Urban Outfitters.
I returned items back in Jan and they refused to provide the refund. They've tried to say this is my fault as I was missing some of the returned receipts however all items were sent on the same day via their courier service collect+. They owe me £63.36. I was a loyal customer for years I'm really upset, it's clearly a scam they're operating to prevent giving refunds during these hard times and double the profit. 1 of the returns was literally an it that they had sent incorrectly. I don't even know what to do about the situation!
First off... customer service is awful. Very slow at responding and doesn't compensate you. On the phone they seem not all there. They sound quite unintelligent and don't really help you.
All of the items I ordered had an issue. This has resulted in way too many returns and calls and it's honestly exhausting.
Shoe #1 was a completely different shoe to what I ordered. Had to return for a new one.
Shoe #2 was worn and came without tags and had dirt on the outside and inside of it.
Shorts #1 were not the size I ordered. Once again another return.
Shorts #2 haven't been shipped! It's been two months.
I will never order from them again and that makes me sad because around two or three years ago they used to be okay. I loved their clothing once but really appalling how awful they truly are now. I almost cannot believe it.
I ordered a dress online from Australia to receive before Christmas. Checking the tracking online it says first attempt delivery 17 Dec. I did not receive anything. Called them, told me to your local post office. I checked two different post offices where my parcels usually are left there they obviously didn't have the parcel. Called them again, cancelled the order and put another order for the same dress. Guess what; exactly the same experience. I won't even call them this time. Just cancel the transaction through my credit card. Totally disgusting!
This company is horrible when it comes to customer service and shipping. My order, a simple pair of shoes did not ship for 7 days after I ordered them. When I inquired with customer service they had no answers. Once my tracking finally showed the item as shipped, the deliver date changed every day. I have yet to receive my purchase. Never again.
Placed order on Wednesday night, needed items by Friday I paid the extra 20 something bucks for next day delivery. It is now Friday and the items are still in "yet to ship" status. My advice never order online. Oh and the whole we won't take your money until your order has been shipped nonsense yeah that's complete bull$#*!.
Received an item that was nothing like the one I ordered. When I contacted Urban Outfitters it took them 5 working days to reply back, only to be redirected to another mail address. They told me they could not reimburse delivery costs since vintage item can look different from the picture. The difference however, was unacceptably large.

I have bought multiple things from Urban Outfitters before and I've always loved the quality of clothes. I am very annoyed though because my package keeps getting pushed out every day and it has been over a week since it was scheduled to be at my house. I am never going to buy their stuff online again. Very disappointed.

Answer: Mine took a few weeks - but that was to Australia. You'll probably get it - but I hope you like it as they are terrible at getting back to you and getting a refund took me MONTHS!
