I wrote my own resume years ago based on information from various groups. I thought it was pretty good. Then TopResume did a free evaluation of it and told me how inadequate it was. It wasn't just how bad they said it was, but they had hard data and excerpts from my resume to show why. I paid for their premium service because I figured if I'm going to have my resume redone, then my cover letter and LinkedIn page should be done as well.

Was a pleasure requesting the services of Top Resume. I purchased the mid level resume package, as I wanted to obtain a cover letter, and to utilize their "Guarantee". My resume required some serious thinking as my experience/changes in my life made it a bit tricky. TopResume was fairly quick in pairing me with a writer. Once paired, my resume writer was amazing with keeping the lines of communication open, offering advice, asking questions, asking my opinion-it was a great experience. My first resume was ready within 7 days-within, or under, the outlined time frame given by the writer.
