Topcashback has the highest cashback percent on paper, but when they either keep your cashback, or cannot get it other vendors seem to be better. I used Rakuten in the past, and never had this issue.
I have opened a few tickets for Sams Club, and get a response months later that it was denied. They say they will not honor the purchase even with the receipt. I sent an order number but still denied.
I have four laptop purchases through lenovo that are showing $0. I have opened new tickets. At the point if they do not honor the purchases it may be time to check class action lawsuit options.
I know I will not make another large purchase through them. A server purchase for 4k is not even showing in the list at this point.
I always make sure to use Chrome as Brave browser seems to not allow them to track. I do get the popup on the right saying they are tracking the purchase. The issue is the just show a $0 for the payable.
Time to go back to Rakuten. The percent may be lower, but getting something is better than a promise of nothing.
Vendor contacted me saying I used another portal, or code. That is all incorrect. I use google Chrome as the Brave browser can block the cashback with the privacy in the browser. Now I am back to Rakuten and my Sams Club, and Lenovo purchases are working I am getting 10% on a $1500 dell purchase. Where TopCashBack did not give me my money Rakuten does. I guess you can check how many others have these issues. I relayed I opened many cased with customer service who would take months to say sorry we are not giving your money to you. Also to late for me to return and repurchase the item to try to really get cashback. STAY AWAY!

Easy to purchase, easy to use. I had no problems using the gift cards on various retailers. Earning cashbacks from them is a great bonus.
It's a really cool tool! I always had multiple Chrome saving tools installed and TopCashBack sometimes yields higher savings. It's really cool!

Not only is Topcashback competitive with their rates, if your cashback doesn't show up, they will honor your claim with adequate proof of purchase.
I use cash back every time I purchase online. I will specifically look for stores that have extra savings too! Its like my hidden savings account!

I had a problem with the merchant giving incorrect cash back percentage. Topcashback answered and worked on the problem very quickly.
Nice cash back on items I purchase every week for my company. Very easy to earn, website is easy to use.
I am a relatively new user to TopCashback but have used several other cashback services over the years. I recommend people to steer clear of TopCashback as they are very unreliable. I got drawn to them as they seem to have been well-reviewed by bloggers and tend to advertise higher cashback amounts. But what's the point of advertising a higher cashback if the transaction has a very high likelihood of getting rejected. The only transactions that "tend" to go through successfully are lower dollar amounts. I haven't had any success with higher value items. Starting to suspect that the reviewers who left positive reviews are getting paid via referral fee thus their incentive to leave a positive review.
When it comes to filing a claim, it is a complete pain. To clarify, easy to file but waiting for a resolution will try your patience. They say on average it takes them 3-months to resolve a claim. Take note that it is an "average" so it can take longer (most likely will). Getting any updates from them is a pain as they tend to use a template response. 100% of the claims I filed with them have been rejected due to the retailer having no record of the transaction. Despite TopCashback's site recognizing the click-thru via my history and me providing evidence of the transaction (order confirmation/receipt). Seems their strategy is to wear you down and hopefully you forget about your claim or give up.
The only thing positive about them is that customer service tends to respond within 24-hours. But the lack of any useful information in their response negates the experience. Eventually, when they reject the claim, the fault lies with the user. They don't appear to have any clout with their retail partners to escalate the issue. They will never do what is right for the customer.
Save yourself the headache. Avoid at all cost.

Answer: I'm a glutton for punishment. So, my view of a success story may differ from your tastes. I bought some liquor at Total Wine & More, going through TopCashBack, in early March. 6 months later, after multiple back and forths, see this absolute disgrace of an answer TCB gave to get out of paying me: Sep 03 2023 Hi there, Unfortunately in this case the retailer has awarded the commission (cashback) for your sale to another affiliate. These other affiliates can include rival cashback portals, comparison sites or even a simple click on a Google ad. This has resulted in the tracking cookie not linking back to TopCashback. We are not denying that you clicked-through to make the purchase from your TopCashback account, but certain aspects can have a negative effect on your transaction tracking and TopCashback not being recognized as the 'last referrer' of the sale. Reasons for a retailer making this decision can include: -If your computer cookies were not cleared before making a transaction -Another website, cashback portal, pop-up advertisement, search engine or comparison site may have linked to your transaction -Coupon codes which are not advertised by TopCashback. -Using ad-blockers on your browser These are only suggestions, however, as the retailer does not advise us which of these is applicable in your particular case.
