I sent my items to Swap.com and found out it takes 30 days to process. OK fine. Finally get an email stating my items had been added to my account. Well come to find out they added my items and someone else's items all to my account. The items I sent in, I did not have a detailed list of and considering they don't usually accept all the items. How am I supposed to know which items they sent to donate, which items correctly got added to my account and which items were incorrectly not added to my account. I sent them multiple emails asking for a good faith move on their part to make it right. So far, I have only gotten more emails back saying I have to provide them with a list of items that I sent. Nice job swap.com, nice job.
I luv shopping on swap.com for my grands. I'm always able to find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price and always in good condition.
I love the site, easy to navigate, prices are excellent and now that they have added a men's line, I don't shop any where but Swap.com for our clothes.
I love the ease of the online shopping with the prices. I was very happy with my purchases and items i have sold the fees are a little high but not to bad.
First time buyer on swap.com and I must say I am very satisfied. The quality of the items at such an affordable price. Will be recommending to others and become a regular buyer. Thank you swap.com
I have had two shipments from them and am very happy with the items. The return policy is easy and they pay the shipping costs. I will definitely be shopping here again.
I have been selling on this site for several years. When I first started, I loved it. But they have increased their selling fees to a point where the Seller is left with very little profit. And buyers are no longer able to get quality clothing at the discounts they advertise because the Sellers have to increase prices in order to make any money. I have decidded I'd rather donate my clothes than help this company make money at my expense.
I've placed several orders with Swap.com. Every order arrived very quickly & items were an exact match to their pictures/descriptions. I'm extremely pleased & have recommended Swap.com to family & coworkers.
SWAP is a nice reputable place to sell unneeded items and buy newly needed ones. Good quality & good deal!
I'm a grandmother raising my 2 grandchildren 5 yrs and 1yr old. I find SWAP.com so easy to shop comes right to my door. The price's are great and the article's are packaged so well, and great quality you can see how selective you are. I love the site and will be a forever customer.
Easy online ordering and pleasant web experience. Ordering was fast and delivery just as fast. The packaging was tremendous and professionally done. I would recommend swap.com and look forward to ordering from them again. You just don't find online shopping this pleasant and easy anywhere on the web. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Sawap.com has become a leading and massive online business for consigned and used clothing with toys for babies and kids, and apparel for babies and children, women, and now men of all sizes, as well. It takes just a bit to read the online articles to learn the ropes, but there is plenty of friendly manpower via email to answer questions and provide help for the asking. I usually sell at least one or two things daily which is really amazing considering my items are set against tens of thousands of others. YET THE SYSTEM DOES WORK.AND SMALL AMOUNTS DO ADD UP. Anything which doesn't sell I can ether donate, or for a slight fee have shipped back to me. Plus, I just love to shop and find special buys at Swap for my grandchildren I think they have extremely high standards for quality, and I often find brand new merchandise to buy there as well! There have been a couple instances where I have had questions or seemed to be in disagreement. The several people I've been in touch with have treated me with great caring and polite respect as they dealt with my problem or questions. The best thing is no one has seemed in a hurry, but has always wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the answer i'd received. With this kind of business ethic, I'm expecting to see Swap around for a very long time. Swap.com, I THINK YOU'RE DOING GREAT-Keep on being flexible and lookiNg for ways to improve and being willing to make changes. THANK YOU! Jed
I sent over 15 boxes to them since 2014. Two boxes they didn't take and I worked very hard to get them ready for sending. Then I put some of the stuff they didn't take in a different box with other stuff I never sent them and they took it. There was something I got from them that didn't fit right on me and I put it in a box to send to them and they didn't take it and got it sent back to me and then I sent it a 2nd time back and they took it. I think it is who looks at it at the time they get to your box. They have good stuff and bad stuff. I had some dresses I got that was a womens size M and they thought it was a kids size 8. They are good for kids clothes but to get stuff for me it is not much better. I got a sweater for my son and it said kids L and when I got it home it fit him like a men's L but when my hubby tried it on it fit him like a men's M. Some of the clothes they put in the kids side is really for women and men.
I still use the site but not as much as I did in 2014 to 2016.
The items I purchased arrived even better than described. Prices were even less than local thrift stores without having to leave the house. All of my clothing items looked brand new, and the packaging was just right-not too much, not too little. This is my favorite new site to shop for pre-loved clothing. Would love to see more functionality on the mobile app (the ability to see and track placed orders) and a few more pictures of the items particularly of the brand/fabric content tags. Also, the search function/item specifics/titles could be a bit more specific to make sorting/searching for items easier. Very happy with my purchase and will shop here again!
Great selection of products, reasonable pricing and fast shipping. My shopping was mainly within the men's section. While looking over other sections, the same wide selection appeared available. Could you ask for more?
I saw a segment on Swap.com on WGN Morning News a few weeks ago and visited the site to look. After then viewing a commercial on tv offering 20% off, I didn't hesitate to visit again and order! My purchases (3 Items) were great. The prices can't be beat; I'll be back on site again in the near future!
I received my first order and was so pleased I turned around the next day and ordered again! I also had a return that was very easy!
I have made many purchases in the past until receiving multiple items they consider "good condition" and they were complete garbage. Polling on shirts, sizes incorrect and a pair of suede boots that I couldn't even unzip. Lots of their items are priced at retail prices. Had 2 items sent to me with price tags still on them that were lower prices then I paid! All and all I wouldn't buy from them again
I've bought from them. Items were good priced and still had use. Not perfect. Sending items is very frustrating. Changing criteria, different acceptance, different ideas of what fair, good and new condition means (I sent new, never been worn items and they listed them in fair condition). The rejection is a nightmare. You send them quality items that they reject and yet they sell you junk from someone else. You wind up paying to send them items that they then refuse to sell and you have to pay to get them sent back. Wouldn't be such a big deal if you knew your items were worth donating instead of selling. Seriously, if I wanted to donate I could have dropped them off at Goodwill (for free! With a tax break!). Stick to your local consignment stores, ebay or craigs list if you want to make money off anything or value. These folks also loose pieces of sets and damage your stuff.
I sent a box of nice clothing and at least 4 pairs of never worn Jessica Simpson shoes. 1 pair was rejected, yet I NEVER wore them. I sold a few items, and I knew there was the 11.40 fee and the 30% they take and 1.50 per item, yet they still charged some other additional fee's, so I ended up with a payout of 0. Ad its never really told to you what they "additional " fee is. Don't sell here. They take what they want and say it doesn't meet their standards, then if you want the items back you have to pay shipping fee's. And even when you sell and it looks like your getting a payout, they take it. Unreal how this scam was not shut down yet? Can't anything be done. They are stealing and finding a way to get away with it. 2 big boxes of items I sent months ago... and I sold thing and still made 0. What a JOKE!
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.
Answer: Hi Patricia, We are on about a 55-60 day delay in processing inbound shipments. When your items are processed, you will be notified via email that they are ready to be priced. Have you sent an email to our support team at assistance@swap.com yet? A member of our team can look up your account information and give you a better idea of exact when you can expect to see your items. Thank you, Lauren Swap.com Support Manager
Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.
Answer: Hi Jo, That is correct. You can return items that do not fit as long as you request the return within 30 days. We will send you a pre-paid UPS shipping label to send back your return free of charge. Once the return is received, we will refund your card within five (5) business days. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at assistance@swap.com. We are happy to help! Best, Matt
Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
