I have sent a box of items a few month ago. First it took them 2 months to process my box, second they rejected half of my items(including a brand new dress with the tag still on) mentioning they were damaged and had pet hair! I do not have any pet at home, and I prepared the whole box with care, washing, ironing and using a clothes bag to protect them...! I ended up donating a lot of my ietms as too costly to return, they say they will donate the amount to the charity of your choice but I never got asked about my choice of charity. Anyway, at this rate I would have rather brought the items to donate myself at my local charity shop!

I have such a bad time with this website. First I add items and it's either disappear or swaps to something else. Now I ordered 2 sweaters and 1 jacket and 1 pair of shoes. My order shows complete different items after I paid! This is so weard! I am so unhappy! I will never order from this site again.

Swap is a wonderful resource for gently used designer clothes for the whole family. I lost over thirty pounds and was able to swap my entire wardrobe with Swap! I sent in my clothes that no longer fit, sold them, and was able to find nice replacements without filling our landfills... win, win.
I was thinking about sending some brand new items to swap. At the time the website said that after a period of time they would buy unsold items from you at 30% of retail. I sent an email asking for more details and was told that they only pay $7 max. I felt like this was deceptive on their part. Why didn't they state this figure directly?
I did end up sending in two boxes, but most of what I sold were cheap used clothes. They did accept a blazer but reject the matching dress (the reason given made it clear they did not realize it was a set). I also had a brand new Trina Turk skirt which they listed as like new (without tags). I made some money, so I can't complain, but I have since decided to stop selling because of a complete overhaul of their system.
First, they will be using their very own special heavily researched practically perfect algorithm to price your items. I am sorry, but no system can consider all the variables. I have seen pricing guidelines on other sites and they are wildly inaccurate. I could understand if they wanted to price your items after a month or two. But right up front?
Also, they are now adding a surcharge to your shipping label cost if they reject 40% or more of your items. Given the potential shipping surcharge, and the fact that they now price items for you, I would probably end up owing money to swap! In my opinion it is not worth the risk. I will just donate to charity!
I ordered several summer tops. My order arrived quickly and the tips were lovely. Each was individually packaged just like you are in a retail shop. All were in very good condition. I had to make a return due to side but that's what happens sometimes when yours not trying on. The return process was painless and I've got store credit, which I'll be happy to use. My cost, less than a quarter of that! Good selection, accurate descriptions of condition, quick delivery and of course GREAT prices! But check back often because inventory changes... And Don't be a "BE-BACK" ( one who finds something he/she likes and says " I'll get it later," only to discover later that someone else has scooped it up!) As a Multiple Super-Satisfied Customer & Reviewer to Swap.com, I sent in a box to sell. (only the 2nd box I had sent in 1.5 years). I am a retail buyer and know what clothes are really worth on Swap.com. I am a savvy, sophisticated shopper who knows what will sell. I was very unsatisfied with the way Swap.com handled the items in my box, many of which were NEW, with TAGS, Michael Kors items. I wrote an email to Swap.com specifically identifying the problem. I received an email from the CEO saying that there was little to satisfy the original problem. What should have been consigned as $190+ (conservatively), $27.16! Was given to me. First Rate ITEMS--NEW MK winter coat, NEW MK sweater, NEW MK blouse, etc. I have $ in store credit. I don't know whether it is worth it to use Swap.com again. IT is too bad that the CEO couldn't see through this situation to a satisfied customer who new may never speak well of them again. What a shame.

Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
