Staples - Glendale Shoppes Indianapolis is trash and untrustworthy. There was an online order for a 1000 business cards and 2 days later they can't find my order and they can't find any information on me. How sad. The Manager kept apologizing saying the system was down but if the system was down and couldn't fulfill orders, wouldn't you THINK to send an email to these customers apologizing and letting them know ahead of time that their orders won't be fulfilled in a timely period?
I bought three boxes of ink for my printer and one of my boxes of ink was bad meaning, it was no ink in my cartridge because, the printer told me so. I took the ink cartridge back to Staples and they told me there's nothing they can do about it because it was past 30 days. When you shop at Staples they encourage you to buy in bulk or in large quantities but they don't tell you that there is no warranty or guarantee your items or item can be returned or replaced when you buy in bulk and when you have a defective item or items. Beware please if you shop at Staples buy only what you're going to use Within 30 days and then go back and get another one if you need it because if it's bad or defective you will not get your money back if you buy in bulk.
I recently purchased Elama Uptown Loft dishes and was very happy with the product. I received my order early and other than the delivery company dropping on my front porch I am very pleased with the whole experience. In addition, the dishes were so well packaged that it saved them during delivery.
I ordered a laptop from this site. And I needed it asap. It was delivered in 3 days, I'm more than satisfied. I had a great experience with Staples, and pretty sure it wasn't the last one. Thank you Staples Team. I recommend this service to everybody
If it is a staples brand on the package then the warranty is generous and you can return it with a pretty good policy. Compared to office depot and office max, it is probably my favorite to shop at staples.
Appalling customer service. I ordered a chair, and one arrived the next day. Not the £100 chair I ordered but one for £40. I asked them to collect it and send me the correct one, and they said they would only send the chair I ordered when the one they sent had been received by their warehouse. I asked for a refund, and they said they would only do this when they took collection of the chair I received. I feel as if I'm being treated like a felon.
I purchased an Office Chair online from Staples. When it came it had to be assembled, I paid someone to do so. After it was assembled and I sat on it I realized that the chair at it highest position it is still to low. Staples is telling me that I must pack the chair in it original box and then I can return it to the store. I can not remove the seat from the leg assembly. Be aware that if you buy anything online with staples and have it assembled you will not be able to return it if you can not put it back in the box.
The emails for a receipt never show up, get it printed. In my case I never got an option for one purchase and that wasteed an hour of my time later. When you return only the store you bought from will have access to the receipt. I got a return but it was a different amount from what I paid.
At my local store, the assistant manager was stumped. I had to call th emanager the net day. Both tell me to call corporate. Corporate tells you they only work with online orders call the manager. The manager (wait for him again) says once a return is processed he cannot help you, the system processes the lowest price regardless of what you paid. My manager was not nice at all about my call.
I know companies make it hard to return and I seldom do, but at least Staples store managers should know the process, not send me calling corporate who cannot help me. The return took more than an hour.
This weekend I went my local staples to buy a USB Wireless Card. When I got there I noticed it was $10 higher than they were selling it online I asked the manger would they price match Staples.com and was told no that was and internet price only. I started to walk out the store and the manger said why aren't you going to buy it, I told her I found it cheaper on Amazon and she said we price match Amazon. WHAT!

The item was not in stock, I ordered online in the store, the next day delivery is a lye the item never showed up and the next day I was told that they did not have the item. The following day they said that they were going to delivery the item, but that time I decided to buy another computer. Now they do not want to return the total amount of purchase and I do not how long I have to wait to get my money back. Staples is a scammer.
The first time I placed an order and the item didnt arrive.
Then they promised it would be at the store the next day.
It didnt arrive so I call the nightmare of they customer service. They kept putting me on hold for 10 minutes 12 minutes and told me they had no idea where the order was or how long it would take. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 35 minutes and then disconnected.
I called the next day. Same thing.
I called today. I was told someone would reach out to me in 2 days. I asked to speak to supervisor and again placed on hold this time 45 minutes and was disconnected.
They were quick to take my money from my bank account but have not predicted the product ordered.
The management staff at the Clarksburg, WV store is the greatest and most professional in the business. After working with this store for 14 years. I would not purchase my computer and office supplies at any other location. They make my purchasing easy, fun, and great group of employees.
We ordered hard cover book binding.they told us 1week is the processing time.We agreed and explain to them that we have a deadline since it is a thesis paper for submission.the deadline accdg to the staff is nov 14. The date passed by and no contact from them!This project is not a joke! We chose them because they offer a service that we're looking for. Now we'll be missing our deadline for thesis. Great inconvenience!
Staples.com/easytech is anything but easy. It's taken them 2 weeks to remove a virus that they said they could handle in a day. Of course this was before they got my money. I am still waiting for that desktop computer and in the meantime my laptop has also become infected. Fearing that they would take forever on this laptop too I started looking for a substitute service to use instead of Easy tech. I found secureremotesupport.com and saw that they're prices (listed on their site) were actually far less than the easy tech charges. I requested service from them and within the next two hours my laptop was cleaned out of all the virus'. I have called Easy tech and asked them to just get it ready to be picked up. I will be having the alternative I found to fix my desktop. I only wish I had found out about them before wasting time with Easy tech.
You can order your products and have them delivered to your home (there is free shipping for some items). If the shipping is not free, it can be shipped for free to your local Staples for your pick up at the retail store. Go to customer service to pick up your item. Very quick pick up transaction. You can return your product to the retail store, if required.
Every time I order from Staples, I get someone else's packing slip. Every time that I call Staples and request a packing slip to be sent, they always say they are going to do it and they never do. When I call them back and speak to someone else, I am always told by that next person that there are no notes on my account, and no attempt was made to send me packing slips. This may seem like a petty thing except for the fact that I am managing a business and do not have the time to sit on the phone and beg for packing slips, especially when our business needs packing slips in order to reconcile financial records. Staples used to be my go-to office supplies store, but I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Not knowing what to do is one thing, but intentionally lying to a customer just to get off the phone quicker is not acceptable and if any of those people worked for me, they wouldn't work for me for long. This is NOT the way that you win over customers!
I submitted a pdf file for printing at the Burlington store after 8 days they contacted me a said the file has problem and I need to submit a new file and pay again and they refund the previous payment at the store. I resubmitted a file and they never came back to me and canceled the task without any explanation after 10 days. I haven't seen anything like this before.

First day, I can get my print by 4:00PM with regular price, and next day, can't. I need to pay extra cost and can only get by 7:00 PM. complain to their manager, he said, my first day's service was done by new employee. Looked like, they experienced employee provided by poor service, and will charge with you by their mood.
Terrance Adams at Trussville,AL told me he " did not know what got my noodles boiling" when I questioned his return policy vs. company policy on my unopened, non expired ( expires next year) ink bought 5 1/2 months ago. He said it had been too long.
Guy was rude from the moment I walked in with my bag, glaring at me. No customers were at front, and he was short, snippy with his questions and responses. He would not even try to process the return, even when I stated the company policy. He said that this was how he was trained. Apparently the GM makes his own return policy.
