They Stole $996.00 from me. Stay away or youll regret not talking my advice.its booked a flight which they canceled. They than wanted me to pay an additional $400.00 dollars for another reservation that i couldnt make. It was on a different date. They refused to give me a refund. They also Hang up on me when i call.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They will consistently hang up on you if you have any issues, they do not send you a confirmation in order for you to make your flight, and they take your money without actually giving you a booking. I wish someone would have warned me. This and LBF Travel are the same group of scammers. Keep away at all costs! It's simply not worth the hassle, stress and extreme rudeness from every member of this team.

Liar and Thieves

I had to fly to see a dying relative and a representative from this company lied and stole $95 from me and also cost me unbelievable grief. 1st the representative said I HAD TO PAY TO CHECK MY LUGGAGE BEFORE MY ARRIVAL WHICH IS A TOTAL LIE! THEN THEY TOLD ME I COULD ONLY CARRY 7 POUNDS ON THE PLANE. FRONTIER ALLOWS 40 POUNDS.SO I REMOVED ITEMS I NEEDED BECASUE OF THIS ADDITIONAL DECEPTION. When I arrived at 4am I could not check my luggage and had to pay the airline directly which was HALF THE COST of what this company charged me. If I hadn't arrived 2 hours early, I could have easily missed my flight. When I called to dispute the charge, they CLAIMED I paid for baggage protection. I CARRIED MY LUGGAGE ON BOARD WHO WOULD I NEED TO PROTECT IT FROM! DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY, call your airline directly and get correct information because this is just a rip off scam, and I am disputing this with my bank. I will get my money back from these liars and thieves!

They cancelled on my dad who has cancer and need to get here for treatment. They hang up on you when you call to get a refund. Everyone saying a scam. They should be in jail.

I booked a flight on 9 Feb, flying this Saturday March 12. I heard nothing further from them after an initial confirmation. I went online today - and discovered that my booking had been cancelled. I phoned them: they say my card didn't go through and they tried to contact me - but I have had no emails from them. I have never had this problem before - I have always known at the time of booking that my payment has gone through, and I assumed that it had done so this time. My credit card is very tight on security - why did they not go through "verified by Visa" or some such which would have done a security check? I repeat: DO NOT USE THEM. They are very willing to book the flight again - for $700 more than I paid originally. I can't afford this. I asked to speak to a supervisor: they promised that someone would get back to me within half an hour: this has not happened. I will be sending a copy of this review to the travel search engine that came up with SmartFares (CheapFlights) and will use a different travel search engine in future unless they remove SmartFares.

Smartfares is a pathetic website to book your flights,. They show a different price and always charge $250-300 more than the quote... I wont recommend using this site at all. Worst experience ever...

I booked by ticket but flights got cancelled in December due to the Omicron outbreak. I have received 40% of my fare as refund, and they are refusing to refund the balance, which is due to me since the flights were cancelled. In addition they are blunt, impolite and unhelpful. Use them at your own risk!

THEY SHOWED YOU THE PRICE IN CAD WHICH YOU SELECT AFTER COMPARING IT WITH OTHER WEBSITES. YOU MAY THINK THEY ARE GIVING A GOOD PRICE. BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU IN USD AND THAT WILL FINALLY WILL COSTLY THAN WHAT WAS SHOWN BY THEM IN CAD ON THEIR WEBSITE SO BE CAREFUL BEFORE FALLING INTO THIS TRAP. THE EXCHANGE RATE THEY USE IS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THE BANK WILL CHARGE YOU WHILE CONVERTING USD TO CAD. I LOST $400 INTO THIS TRAP.

THEY CHARGE YOU RIGHT AWAY BUT NO GUARANTEE THAT THE AIRLINE WILL CONFIRM THAT PRICE AND THEY MAY CANCEL YOUR BOOKING THE NEXT DAY WHEN THE PRICE IS ALREADY GONE UP.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO SOMEONE BUY THE TICKET IN CANADA AT THEIR WEBSITE

NOT NOT RECOMMENDING IT IN THE ABOVE SITUATION

These guys are really worst. They take the money and dont refund you. Dont do any ticket with them, Tdid reserveration for my dad who is 76 years old and the flight got cancelled and when I spoke to them for my refund they said that there is no refund.We will not pay you. Talk to american airlines and I spoke to them and the american airlines said that your agency which is smart fares should handle it. Ultimarely I lost my 1143 dollars. DONT EVER do reservation with them.

The worst

The worst. I bought a fully refundable ticket to have it cancelled without knowing. This is where I wanted my refund that I already purchased. They have not given me one yet and have been hung up on- too many times. Some nice people try to help only to have nothing get done. Avoid at all costs. Flight Reservation Code: MFCC7R, finish your job please.

LBF Travel does not exist, it's "CEO" Michael H Thomas is not a real person and any listed contact information for him is invalid, and their operators at *******280 or *******201 are abusive and unprofessional, and they also make unsolicited calls to random people from an 844 number. Avoid and/or report to federal authorities any time you are made aware of their existence.
Needless to say, you shouldn't book any flights with them, but you deserve to get ripped off if you do.

This buulcrap company is a rip off I bought a ticket to Chicago I went to check in the day of my flight and it turns out that everything I printed ticket number airplane number was all wrong and fraudulent I called the company first I got something seem like they were in India then I was transferred to somebody else and I told him I need a ticket number it's not showing a ticket number except 10 zeros. They hung up I called back, Put me on hold for 20 minutes still no help I call the airlines they said this is not a legitimate ticket. They would not help me at all and said check with the airlines I ended up buying a ticket the same day and cost me eight times the price I paid. This company stay away from it

Big trouble

I arrived at airport in Lisbon Portugal only to be informed by Air Europe that my flight been changed to the next day and they informed SmartFares about, whom did not cared to informe me. On my return at Zurich airport I was not ivan on the list to fly that day but the next day no layover and Air Europe informed SmartFares about it, they failed again to relay that info to me of that changes I arrived in Madrid I had to stay in Madrid Aiport 30 hours to get back to my final destination Lisbon Portugal SmartFares sucks badly Hek no I would recomend anyone

I book with them and was canceled its almost 8 months they are always saying it is refunded and when I check on my bank it is not. And I asked my Airline also they said SMARTFARES already refunded the amount in the same mode of payment but it is not showing the amount. You should not believe in their lies. Its a SCAM
