Please do not use this website. It too over a week before I was made aware that my reservation wouldn't be processed. I still haven't received my refund yet.
My mom's flight was rescheduled by the airline, WE NEVER GOT ANY NOTIFICATION FROM THEM AND THE WORST THING IS WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE DIFFERENCE which doesn't make sense because my mom never asked for the change of flight. My sister who booked with another agency, with the same flight as my mom, got notified and didn't have to pay for the difference. We tried to tell them that but they wouldn't budge.
We talked hour OVER 1.5 HOURS! And we still ended up paying extra 250USD!
Also, my mom made a mistake of putting her name wrong when booking and they asked for 400USD to fix it.

So, i call again and they said that they will refund my money. It has passed two weeks and been calling daily and their answer is between 7 to 10 days. Waisted my time and black listed them and no one should ever buy any tickets from them ever.
I made an international reservation through smart fare after one week I get in touch with the customer service just to making sure that the reservation is confirmed, they replied with additional fees of $176 and I already paid $1326 and agreed and told the agent to go ahead and confirm it, and still I didn't get the confirmation even though I paid extra and the was disconnected and I never received any phone calls or email, it's very poor customer service and no knowledge of how to take care of customers, I will never ever get to their website again and I don't recommend it to anyone stay away
Never, EVER, EVER use Smartfares to book 4 flights in 2019 I booked 4 flights to Ireland, and the airlines had to cancel due to Covid. The airlines said that they would issue vouchers for the flights and they would not charge extra and that the time frame was indefinite. Smartfares said that the flight had to be within 24 months and that there would be an extra charge of $487. The airlines said that we would hsve to reschedule the flights tgrough Smartfares since we booked through them. But Smsrtfares refuses to book them until we pay the $487. So, NEVER, EVER EVER book a flight thru Smartfares.!

Afortunadamente el banco rechazó el cargo a la tarjeta de crédito. Son unos mentirosos y estafadores. Mienten descaradamente en el precio y después el cargo en la tarjeta es otro mucho más caro. Se supone que te dan un precio al inicio y después te salen con que es otro precio, con que la aerolínea cambio el valor y te terminan cobrando más. Fuera de eso te inventan que ingresaste mal el nombre y te estafan hasta mas no poder para cobrarte supuestos "fees".

I don't use to write reviews but I have to do it to help people. The costumer service is the worse. They don't respond the phones and if they do, transfer and transfer the call you can stay the rest of your life waiting to be attending. Nobody explained to me why my flight was advanced one day losing money on an additional day of hotel and rent car.

I bought my ticket 5/5/2022 for $890.24 and never got confirmation email as per smart fares website, my brother did the same day. We both called on 5/8/2022 to find out about the confirmation. His is confirmed no issues. Mine, the rep states the tax amount is not correct and he tricked me to click on acknowledgment thru an email to be surprised the new price $1298. 24. I called 15 min. After - and the rep. States this can not be cancelled and It is my fault that I acknowledged! Seriously tricking people is legit now! And I have to wait until he calls the airlines. I called American Express and disputed.

I booked a flight from BWI to DFW through this site. Upon failure to issue the ticket, I contacted them. I was then told that my booking was pending and that the airline was full. SO I have to pay an additional $120+ to get a place on another airline. I asked for refund, which I was told that will be done in 7 to 10 business days and that they were gonna pay a percentage (78%) of the amount. I believe this is pure theft as they lure unsuspecting passengers to book with them and then do all sorts of things to take money from their pockets. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SMARTFARES! THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

The price changed ( went up) when I actually tried to buy the tickets at the advertised price on the website.
Then a customer service rep called me and indicated the online price was no longer available. I asked him why wasn't the price adjusted on the website to reflect the price increase. He gave me a baloney story that these things take time. Really? So my ticket price went from $696 then to $800 then $1,600! I hate to be rude but that rep was playing games with me so I hung up on him.
People do not purchase tickets from smartfares they will scam you out of money and will try to avoid giving you a refund even if the airlines canceled. They tried to scam me out of $400 for my refund and they ended up keeping $200 from my refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS AGENCY
Purchased 2 tickets for my wife and daughter. Additionally purchased "best purchase guarantee" which would let me to cancel my trip within next 24 hours. Called back 6 hours later. Was told tickets are not refundable but we could refund a half amount. Had to agree on that cause didn't want to lose whole amount. The worst experience and service ever.
I tried to book airfare online thru this site for bogus Frontier flights they published. The very next day they sent me a cancellation, but still charged my credit card. Over a week later and my money is still not refunded. They should have never taken the money to begin with! I had to file a dispute with my credit card company and my account is held up now. I'm furious that they run a business that way! Will NEVER trust an online site again.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!
