Major disappointment, was expecting a better outcome given the time and money to get online and be able to reply.
Really busy with lots of views and messages which ground to almost a halt when I paid up.
I was hoping for a bit more from a site the promotes itself so well but delivers like all the others... bugger all.

Took up a 6 month subscription after reading all the BS reviews. It has to be one of the worst sites for Australians - seriously. You cannot do a search - they simply feed you 20 supposed prospects each day at 3.44am (every day) obviously just a simple delivery off their data base. So all you can do is look and the prospects are from all over (eg 3500klms away)- just ridiculous! Then on their site they say if you wish to cancel your subscription simply go to your account and follow the prompts to cancel AND YOU WILL STILL BE A PREMIUM MEMBER until the original subscription expiry date. Well guess what, when you actually go to do it that is not the case at all. They then say cancellation removes everything immediately and thats it. This mob really need referring to Australian Fair Trading (which I intend to do) because they are nothing short of con artists. They simply stink.

Be aware.
They sell you a 6 months contract mine ends on Aug/21/21, but have no woman to show. They have 6-7 women and all far away from your zip code (in my case Waco TX and Greenville TX, nothing closer to *******). Or they spam you with profiles that are no longer valid. After a week or so they cut you off from any communications on the website. Calling customer service gets you an obvious young man that asks for your name and problem, laughs into the phone and hangs up. Yes, I have recorded it. I'm not the only one that experienced the same problem. Others here in my neighborhood have too. E-mails don't even bother. You never get an answer. Don't say you were not warned.

I signed up for and paid for the 6 month plan but chickened out after less than 24 hours. They refunded me without a problem. They have a 3 day trial period where you can get a refund. I only cancelled because im too shy! I'm so happy they were courteous. I recommend them. I will also use their site again if i ever get the courage.

Don't join this service! They take your money and won't refund it. They send you profiles with no pictures after you tell them you want pictures. Or pictures of people who don't respond because they are no longer using the service. Or scammers that will respond to you. You will be wasting your time and money. Then they won't allow you to delete your profile so they can continue to use it. They themselves are scammers! Don't fall for it like I did!

After someone's subscription expires, or after they've canceled it because they're fed up with Silver Singles, the profile lives on, apparently forever. So the majority of those profiles you're looking at are of members who are no longer active on the site, and you're wasting your time. My subscription expired and I assumed they'd take my profile down, but they didn't! I'd get emails that men had ‘Liked' me or messaged me, but I couldn't see THEIR photo. The ‘Matches' they send you show profiles of former members who are long gone. Don't waste your time or money on this site. It's pretty much a scam.

It's by far the worst dating site I have ever encountered. I was very unhappy the first time I joined it but decided to give it another go as it still gets stellar reviews online. They ask you lots of questions about your preferences for the potential matches but don't be fooled. They completely disregard your preferences over and over again.

Been on this site 3 months. Scammed over and over. Scammers post fake pick, email consistently and when you get them on the phone they all "grew up" overseas, in the oil business and other. Bad customer service and screening of candidates. Really bad site save your money. One star is over the top.

I signed up for the lowest paying option and looks like wasted my money. The matches have little in common with me and many are way outside my age preferences (10 or more years older), the ones that are seem to be romance scams (had 2 in my first month). Most guys start a conversation then you never hear from them again. Or you sent a smile (their form of like) and you are lucky if one responds to it. No different than the free sites except you waste a lot of money.

They lured me in with 40 girls in my area, when i joined; 39 of them dissappeared leaving 1 gal within 100 miles of me plus i ordered for one month and they took three months out. They said i would be refunded but that was 3 weeks ago and still no refund. I urge everyone to do what im doing. Im going through the better business bureau, the FAA, and the Federal Authorities and filing complaints with all 3 and then file a lawsuit for putting me in such a financial bind that i needed professional help before harming myself..

So I write I am into arts, culture and want 57-69 and they keep sending matches for much older and not even on my wave length... total disaster and waste of time.

I started dabbling on the site a month or so before I signed up for a paid membership so I didn't really respond to smiles or messages at first. I wasn't sure which site to go with. After I did pay the fee (about the same cost of one or two dates), I began communicating with some ladies that seemed very special and very lovely, too. I had dates with 2 of them and the second happened to be my soulmate. We're still early in our relationship but we are head over heals for one another.

The support part of the site is unimportant to me. The result is better than I ever dreamed! I will say that I was not too happy with the robustness of the site, but I'm not going to argue. I'm too happy!

I also recognize that a lot of women did not respond to my "smiles." Were some fake, bots, or former members? I cannot say, but I know plenty of women DID respond so I have to go with that. I know some men react very negatively when a woman does not reciprocate. To all of those guys I'd just say "Move on and don't fret the girls who don't respond. It probably would not have worked out anyway. And if your reaction is nasty, that simply confirms the doubts of the chick in the first place. So please, do yourself a favor and have some class."

90% of the women don't post photos.
90% of the remaining 10% post 1 pic and they shouldn't have.
That means about. 1% might be reasonably attractive. Now what % of them are within 25 miles? Answer: 0.
Worst site ever.

They give you 10 matches a day until they run out. After 3-4 days you may get 8. There is no way for you to view other singles other than who they give you. They have a "have you met" page, But they only put 1 to 2 Singles and not everyday. It is not worth it and The site charges more than other sites.

Most of my "matches" have barely filled out their profile, no-or only one picture, nothing under interests. Hard to tell if they are even real people. In fact, I have been matched with couple of scammers. If they actually have an algorythym, it seems negligible at best. I am constantly "match" with individuals who either have little information about themselves or whose basic information is divergent from the preferences that Silver Singles asked me about. For example I have indicated on multiple occasions that I would not consider someone who's educational level is vastly different from mine (because it would be difficult to find things in common) and yet they continue to show up as matches. The site is a waste of time and money. I certainly would not recommend it.

Terrible Site... they take your money its been a week and my profile keeps saying in REVIEW can't answer anyone that sends a message

Really bad, the company chooses your matches and and distance, mine have been all over 75 I'm a young 65, and from places 100's of miles away. You cant get in touch with siver si goes, and no one answers your messages... dreadful!

They peer you up with people completely opposite and you can't look at other ones. Terrible site. Waist of money
