It's the first time I have ordered from this company. The item was delivered within 24 hours. Although there was a very very minor problem of a missing screw. It was almost immediately dealt with. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and I will certainly use them again

I ordered a Milwaukee pack out system from SGS Engineering - it arrived next day delivery so far so good, un packed the units and noticed that one section was damaged. I got straight on email to SGS to advise
of the fault - they offered £5 discount to keep a damaged item cost £240 which was insulting so I declined and requested a replacement. I was asked to provide photographic evidence of the damage - which I did by return. I was then told to pack the item up and print the shipping label and send a photo to SGS. All completed, at my own expense. I was told by email from SGS that a courier (DHL) would collect the faulty item and deliver the replacement. I took a day off work and no DHL delivery or collection. Following multiple emails I contacted customer services - a long wait time. So called sales and was transferred directly though! I was told by the agent that the item was not ready for delivery today as previously advised and that replacement was still in their warehouse!
It does state on the website that orders are despatched next day, same does not apply to replacement items. I have been told it will be "some time next week", I will not be buying from SGS and will use a credible retailer that provides customer service.

Horrible experience! Asked for discount as I was purchasing bigger number of tools. After receiving the quote and sending a full payment straight away, a week later was told that they can't even fulfill my order. However, asked for a refund for the items that weren't available and now 2 weeks later still nothing. All we get is apologies apologies and more apologies. Asked for proof of refund, and again noting! Not only that but when they delivered the items that were supposed be in stock, we still have items we did not receive. Asked the question few times, but they were always finding way to avoid answering with nonsense emails.

Had to send them to debt collectors. Yet, these guys still owe me £2085. 84

I bought a gas strut to replace one fitted to a kitchen cupboard. After searching the internet for a reasonably priced unit I came across SGS; the price was good as is the quality and it does the job perfectly. However the thing that impressed me most was their customer care, I was phoned before the unit was dispatched to ask me if I had forgotten to order end fittings. If I had forgotten, it would have meant a delay and an inconvenience, but as it was I was re-using the retrieved fittings from the failed gas strut. Just a small thing but it shows me real customer care. Thanks SGS Engineering 5 stars well deserved

I'd been looking for a tool chest for a while, when my brother in law sent me a mail saying SGS had a sale on. I'd already "chosen" the one i wanted, so I logged on and bought a 72" stainless steel one.

Ordered Friday, delivered Tuesday at no cost.

Tool chest looks well made and came well packed (polystyrene/cardboard and on a pallet - stainless still had the protective film on). Bolt on the wheels and handles and you're good to go. As others have said, this wouldn't look out of place in your kitchen.

The gas struts on our Renault Scenic tailgate had failed. It was easy to find and order the right struts, quickly delivered. For some you'll find fitting instructions and a video. I picked SGS on the basis of reviews and other recommendations. The struts took about 10 minutes to fit. For the Renault Scenic you have to take the rear light assembly out which requires a Torx screwdriver. Throughout this you really need a strong reliable friend to hold up the tailgate - it's very heavy and you don't want to have it fall on you.

I had made a mistake when ordering my hedge trimmer. A frequent user of Argos as drop off for eBay purchases through Paypal I inadvertently entered their address for delivery with SGS. Argos properly refused to accept the parcel. I was contacted by SGS by phone. Sean suggested I ask Argos for a favour and to take the delivery. He could have asked, quite properly, for me to pay return courier charges. Argos played ball and I received my goods the very next day.

Purchased the 72 Tool Chest & side Cabinet, arrived as expected and was well packaged, unfortunately once unboxed a dent was noticed in one of the drawers. Notified SGS who promptly apologised for something that can and does happen to any business sending huge heavy products and they arranged shipping of a replacement drawer "same day".
Charlotte in after sales acted promptly and professionally, would highly recommend SGS to anyone. Currently awaiting drawer to arrive but have no concerns it is on its way.

This is the first time I have purchased from SGS and I was influenced by other reviews I had read of the SGS products. Im very pleased with the tool chest - drawer unit on wheels. It arrived next day which I was not expecting so a bonus there, it was well packed so no damage and the quality seems to be very good. So in summary - a good website, prompt delivery, good quality product and no transit damage. A satisfied customer who would go back to SGS for other products if and when required.
