Purchased a hydraulic press that wasn't cheap after little real use the seals have gone and after phoning them for a repair kit was told I'd have to wait 6-7 days. Then to be told 6-7 weeks and now there's no certain date. Press is basically useless taking up space in my workshop. Very unhappy.
Ordered generator on Bank Holiday monday and it was delivered the next day, Wow thats fast. Unpacked item, filled with oil and petrol and stated up on second pull.So far the generator has been faultless. Very pleased.
Delivered quickly and perfectly matched with original part. Fairly easy to fit, but could do with a video to show fitting process on their website (found a good one on YouTube which shows it's an easy job)
Very good quality for the price point, unlike other traders SGS supplied neoprene drawer liners saving me a bunch. Assembly was very easy and took all of ten minutes. Only negative was the shipper must of mishandled the carton as there a couple of dings in the lid. This is my fourth purchase from SGS always prompt and never an issue with product quality.

I ordered an set of gas boot struts for a BMW 1 series from these clowns. Struts arrived, fitted them to the car and the boot wouldn't close! It stopped just short of latching with a resounding thud! Removed the new struts and put them against the originals only to find that they were actually longer than the originals. After numerous emails to the clowns, they finally agreed to refund me for their mistake. All good you might think, think again, they did in fact refund my money, minus the £6.30 postage fee. So in short, you order goods from SGS, they deliver wrong parts, you return items after an email battle, they refund you but keep your postage costs. I have now read numerous reviews of others having the exact same problem with this company. My advice, stay well clear and purchase your goods with a reputable company not a thieving one! I still can't believe that a company like this would pull such a low punch but there you go, they obviously need the money more than I do.
Had quite a few sgs items over the last few years such as jacks, axle stands, engine hoist, sandblasting cabinet, parts washer.
All were delivered next day, so delivery is excellent.
I use the garage equipment to look after race cars so they get a fair bit of use and they seem to stand up to the abuse.

Had (foolishly) previously purchased 'upgraded 1200n boot struts' from an ebay seller... never again! They could barely hold up the tailgate without a bike rack on!
Decided to look at reviews of other similar products, and all the reviews pointed in the direction of sgs engineering struts. Purchased a single strut, no hassle, quick delivery with item being packed in a proper tube with padding.
One sgs strut has made an immense difference, and will now hold up my bike rack with bikes!
If your thinking of purchasing uprated boot struts, look no further than sgs engineering, honestly!
Bought some new boot struts as I the old ones had given up but also wanted some to accommodate the additional weight I had added.
Safe to say they did what I needed for my 350Z, fitted like OEM and did the job perfectly but also came in no time at all after ordering.

2 Tonne Trolley Jack.
Have used SGS before for compressor & air tools. This time for a 2 tonne trolley jack. Placed order on Thu and Jack was at my front door on Friday (24 he delivery). Excellent service from SGS. I've not used jack just yet but build quality looks great - definitely up to what I need for home garage. Would definitely use SGS again and I do recommend them for quality, durability & service.

Received a faulty item. Firstly 'Dave' said he would send out new parts... arrived a week late! Item was no longer fit for purpose as the work had passed and a new item had to be purchased elsewhere to complete the job. Emailed and called 'Dave'... no reply (very disrespectful). Still waiting for a response a MONTH later... and a refund!
I would NOT recommend SGS and especially not 'Dave'. Extremely poor customer service.
Super fast delivery, I ordered my items at approximately 15.21 on Thursday and they was delivered by 09.45 on Friday. The 4 wheel dollies were exceptionally cheap and so was the low profile trolley jack it's ideal for my Lexus 200h. I have recommended and will continue to use again
