Return customer. I replace the line that had broken. I ordered the exact same blinds that I purchased originally. The mounting system was completely different. I had to put a whole new set of holes in my windows. I am disappointed.

Great Quality & Great Price

The website is super easy to navigate, although there are many choices for style, color, design, etc. The instructions were helpful in determining how to measure the window to ensure I received the proper size. The window I purchased for is short in length and there wasn't an option to change the length of the spinning rod used to open the blinds. So the blinds have a rod longer than the actual window. Instructions for installation were easy to follow.

We were attracted to SelectBlinds for the variety of options available for window coverings. Generally, we are happy with the blinds we ordered, the price, and delivery. As long as you measure accurately, you should receive what you expect. Ordering from the website was pretty simple: have your measurements handy and name each room or window that your blind will go on.

Shady blind sent me wrong color

I ordered black blinds and they sent me white blinds and said it was my fault even though their picture of my order showed a solid black blind so I'm out $500 - never order from this company and stick with blinds.com as they stand behind their work - Blinds.com has even sent me new blinds when I messed up the dimension..

Upon looking at the pictures you sent, the shade your holding showing a white Cellular Shade, is of the back of the shade, the front is the color Noir (black)as you ordered. We have the backs of many shades show as white as this is a very common HOA standard.

Taxation without representation

I live in Alaska and use a freight forwarder in Tacoma Wa. Sales tax was added to my order and I attempted to contact via chat to see what options as we do not have to pay Wa sales tax because we are in Alaska. Chat took over 20 minutes to respond and the only answer was "we don't ship to Alaska". I again explained the question (taking another 20 minutes for them to respond) and the answer was "try selectblinds canada, they may be able to honor your request" Very frustrating customer experience.

We did receive and install the blinds. They were cut to specification perfectly and easy to install. The lifting mechanism is stronger and sturdier than I anticipated. Great product just poor online customer experience with no way to speak directly with a human.

Custom curtains

Great customer service! The website is a bit confusing and challenging, times out, login again, start over with input of measurements. Also, the UPS delivery for offshore manufacturing is terrible. UPS lost or delivered to wrong address 2 separate shipments. Customer Service is excellent for US manufacturing and follow up on UPS mistakes. They can't help with Vietnam custom orders.

I never would have purchased these shades if they had been full price as they are overpriced in my opinion. However it was the only color that I liked and you had no other less expensive shades in the same color. That said, I expect these shades to be absolutely gorgeous. But when we got them the screws were the wrong size and my husband had to go to the hardware store and get new screws.
