Dealing with Select Blinds has always been good but I was disappointed with this last woven blind that will not hang straight. I followed all instructions on installing it but I pull it down it's slightly higher on one side. I've tried lifting it all the way up, as suggested in the instructions, but it still hangs crooked.
Ordered blinds and they all came and looked great. I helped my husband hang them, not too difficult. The only issue is that these are completely see through but I'm sure that is probably stated somewhere I just did not see this so we did also have to get curtains.
I was disappointed after my blinds were hung as they rise and fall on a slant, they're very crooked. They do not roll up evenly. Just because they were relatively inexpensive, doesn't justify the fact that they are poorly made.
Website is fast and easy to get order in and they come with everything you need to install, most can be installed in less than 5 minutes. I've used Select Blinds for 2 homes and both times I was impressed with their product and how great they look!
The product is great and mounting them was easy. Took awhile to get a replacement for one that was damaged. The process was a bit longer than I liked but they never dropped the ball or forgot about me. They backed their product completely. I will use them again.
We purchased custom order roller shades with the acculift features. You are supposed to be able to adjust where you want the shade without ratcheting it. These shades will still roll up on their own, and some won't go up when trying to adjust. There's a small mechanism you use to try to decrease or increase tension, but it just feels like you spin it and spin it with zero difference made in tension reduction or increase. We also ordered a larger size in width to keep the sides from allowing light in, and it's still very light in the room. For sure not blacking out the room. Has not seemed worth the money.

The price of the blinds were excellent. However, after putting them up they are not satisfactory. The up and down mechanisms don't work evenly or smoothly. You cannot simply slide the blind open but have to try 2 or 3 times before you get to the top. As I own about 10 blinds from a different manufacturer I know what is good or not. I cannot recommend those even though the price was too good to be true.

Customizing in the website was very easy and straight forward. When I received the order, 1 of the blinds I ordered came in the wrong size. Contacting customer service was extremely easy and a replacement sent out right away. In the future, I'll definitely use select blinds again.
The blinds were a few inches short, but I can overlook it. I have a small junction box at the base of this window and the shorter blinds. Have luckily allowed the slats to swing clear of it. It was just happenstance, but everything else is very satisfactory. I really needed a window cover customized, and this fit the bill very nicely. Particularly the direction of the slide and the vertical blinds. I previously had horizontal blinds and they did not complement the design of the window at all.
I ordered from Select Blinds in 2018 that was all good too. This year I decided to update plus add two new blinds to my dining room. I ordered samples to ensure color matches. I measured, twice or three times. Input all the data on the website. Ordered what I wanted. When the blinds came in they were packed so well. Extra care was taken to the corners. All the pieces were there. No problems. Installed within 10 minutes. Color looks great, fit is excellent. Look around and you'll be back to order from Select Blinds, after looking at other places. I received my customized Adjustable Roman Door Shades in teal color. It was packaged well when I received it in the mail. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of the shades. I will come back and shop for more shades.
Now that I've received my blinds and had the "pleasurable" customer service experience, revisiting my review seems appropriate.
The installation was very easy and they look great.
The dimensions of all of the blinds were 1/8 too large and only fit when the end caps were removed.
I try to contact customer service about this and it was a disaster. First you cannot call them, you receive a text. The representatives are all oversees and clearly are handling multiple issues at the same time. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes to handle my case and the person closed my ticket before it was resolved.
Another rep opened a new ticket and asked me to send all of the information I had to send to open my original ticket again.
At that point I decided it is easier to live with what I have and the go through a different company next time I need blinds. They definitely lost a customer.
Very easy to order. Love that they are aluminum. The color matches my bay window blinds perfectly. Wish they had a easier way to lock in and take down on the inside mount styles. Not much room to maneuver put up/take down function inside the frame.
I was very impressed with the communication with the company throughout the ordering and shipping process. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the blinds ordered. The price was very good and all the hardware came complete with the order. I was so happy that I have since recommended Select blinds to my nieghbor and Mom who is looking to replace existing window treatements.

I bought a newly built home and so I needed to order blinds for every window. I was nervous to place such a large order but I have been nothing but happy with all the blinds. They look amazing, were easy to install, each one fit, and were all delivered quickly.
I ordered the blinds that can be pulled up from the bottom or pulled down from the top. I love this feature. Sometimes I like to have a little more privacy from the neighbors but I want the room have more light. For me this is a great solution. I was sent Notifications and as to the progress and Delivery of the shades. Very helpful
I have ordered fabric shades twice before, was very pleased with them. This time the product seems changed. The shades will not clip in, despite being level and aligned properly. I need to return the, as they are just hanging on the top part and hang at an angle and will come down when trying to lower them why did you change a perfectly good system? I'd it ain't broke, don't fix it. If I can't return them will have to nail or glue them up somehow. Please call me.
I received my order but 3 of the brackets for my Roman shades wouldn't hold the shade properly. I called immediately and the person I spoke with said they would mail me 3 brackets. 3 days later I got an email that said I needed to provide photos of the defective brackets and then it would be decided if I could get the additional brackets. I had already thrown the brackets away and trash day had come and gone. I was able to find one bracket and sent a photo but still have not heard from select blinds about the brackets or received any replacements. That was 12/20/24 and it's 1/6/25 today. My purchase was over $1500 so this seems like very poor customer service.

The end cap on the rail had popped off in shipping due to the rod not being long enough to fit through both end caps. It took me two hours to disassemble, adjust and reattach the end caps because there was barely enough rod for the locking ring to grab on to( about 1/32") Hopefully, it won't fall out during use.
How are you going to send shades without the headrail? And the customer service is horrible. I didn't even realize that it was not there. I thought I was trying to install it improperly, and even when I called customer service and told them the problem, they had no idea what the problem was. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Then, they wanted me to pay for the headrails to be expedited to me instead of the regular shipment. And then they would not accept the return. I didn't want to wait any longer for the shades. I've waited long enough; the mistake was on your end, not mine. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
