FedEx still doesn't take a signature for my delivery they just leave it on my doorstep. Not happy with that!

Having long been a coin collector, I began buying bullion and bullion coins a few years ago and am always looking for reputable dealers. Recently bought 1 kilo bar of silver from SD Bullion. I'm very pleased with their prices. They beat my go-to dealer in this area. My first purchase was made using ACH debit, which is my preferred method of buying bullion. Here is where SD Bullion doesn't do as good a job as my preferred dealer. That process took a least a day or two longer. This isn't something to fret over and should be somewhat expected with this type of payment. I've made another with a credit card for bullion coins and three days later I'm still waiting for them to get back to me with a notification that payment has cleared. This isn't necessarily a show-stopper for me either as my prices are locked in. It is a bit annoying. This company advertised low prices and I can vouch for that claim. I do believe they sacrifice service to keep their prices low. There are a variety of shipping options and I chose the standard shipping option as I have my bullion shipped to a Post Office Box. Strongly suggest they offer signature service! I was surprised to find my 1 kilo bar of silver (valued at well over $800) in my P. O. Box. In defense of this company, I didn't specify signature service and if it was offered at the sale, I didn't see it. They did provide tracking information with their standard shipping. I just would prefer when it comes to that dollar amount for a signature to be required. It always as from my preferred dealer. To summarize, this is a good, reputable company. I'll buy from them in the future, despite a longer hold time than I'd want. I'd also like to see a signature service option at delivery, but I'd still recommend them.
THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS, DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THEIR WEBSITE! Looked into buying gold coins with them, I wanted to see the bottom line price after all the blah blah which required me entering an order online... I put that I would do the transaction with a bank wire, nothing was given to them other than my phone number and email... As suspected, the total came out to be about $50 per coin over what they quoted when I entered the order so I decided to not purchase... A week later I start getting emails and phone calls from them saying if I don't pay the $18,200 and buy the coins, that there would be over $1000 in order cancelation fees. I told them they are being crooked pirates and I would for sure do no business with them, promising to not pay a penny... They then told me I could only pay $200 as a special offer to close the account... I will do everything I can to overturn anything they turn in on my credit, but I will never pay for services not rendered just because they put hidden disclaimers and unscrupulous hidden rules on their order forms..

According to our phone recordings, you called and spoke to a manager on the phone today 07/26/2022 and denied ever placing an order with us. That this order was fraudulent. Upon learning that information, we had our fraud and AML prevention team look into the information from the order, and verified that all the information tied directly to you.
Another manager called you back today 07/26/2022, in order to explain our findings to you, and offer you another chance to either pay for your purchase, or cancel it and pay for the cancellation fees.
Cancellation fees are an industry standard among online bullion dealers. Our cancellation fees are listed in our Terms of Use where we outline our policies when you submit an order with us.
This order was not cancelled until the second call with the second supervisor, after he had spoken to you. The supervisor explained the options we had available for you, however you refused to work with us, and started to scream inappropriate language at the supervisor, the call ended with you screaming profusely and hanging up the phone.
Given the circumstances, we cancelled the order and sent you the invoice that you received for the cancellation fees. We attempted multiple times to convince you to keep your order that you placed with us and fulfill your contract, but with no success.
You may contact a member of our bullion team, they will work with you in order to resolve your open cancellation fees. A member of our team can be reached at 1-800-294-8732. They are available from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. est Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. est on Friday.

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.

Answer: We ship fully insured via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The default shipping option would be selected by the shipping team in accordance with our insurance policies and efficiency. Most, but not all, of our orders ship with a signature required. However, you can rest assured all of our orders are fully insured. If you want to be guaranteed a signature, we do offer the ability to add it on, it would be $4.95 for the signature plus $14.95 for our expedited shipping. We offer FedEx or USPS.
