I ordered a scent from scent matches in December and upon receipt was unsatisfied with the scent. I returned the product to the company immediately and followed up with an email to ensure delivery. Jennifer, "customer service manager" (a title they use quite lightly) stated she had processed my refund in early January. I explained that the debit card that I had used for the purchase had been canceled, and she assured me it would not be a problem. One month later I still have not received these funds. Upon contacting Jennifer again about this refund I received a scathing email stating she had "no idea why I continued to contact their company about this issue and that the company should not have to pay her to keep repeating herself to me." At this point I will be contacting my banking institution for some resolution. Jennifer needs some serious training in her customer service skills but regardless this is a company who appears to have less than stellar business ethics... steer clear!
I unfortunately read the reviews too late. I ordered a discontinued scent and just received it. It is what most customers say... It smells cheap and disgusting! It was not even close to the scent. Matter of fact am taking it to be analyzed. Do not ordered anything! I put scent on and I bagged and had to SCRUB it off! Please find another scent you like at a reputable place. Now let's see how quickly a refund comes!
This was my first time using this site and the choices were easy to make and checkout was simple. I honestly can not wait until the product gets here! That scent was discontinued almost 10 years ago and I have not found a replacement yet so I am really excited about this.

I took a chance and ordered my favorite scent from the 1980s - Blue Jeans. It arrived yesterday and I am more then thrilled with it. It smells just like I remembered. I cannot tolerate most scents that people seem to drown themselves with so I can never wear anything except natural oils because I find todays scents are so overpowering. I am overly sensitive to scents, including scented candles; incense, etc., but this scent is one that I shall be able to wear. Thank you!
Excited to see my favorite perfume on their list. When I received it it was NOTHING like the perfume I asked for. Smelled like baby powder and the smell made me sick. Told No returns or refunds after sent an email.

(Product is vegan!)That is why I decided to go ahead with the purchase. I was very worried that the fragrance you sent me for So Pretty by Cartier was going to be too strong. Once I tried it on it was wonderful. I have a lot of allergies and So Pretty is one of the only fragrances I can use. I think it might be a bit stronger, but works just fine for me. You have a new customer and I'll spread the word. I was excited that my signature scent that everyone commented on Cachet which smelled go good on me could be reproduced. BIG FAIL! The scent I received was ok, but nothing at all similar to cachet. I'm so sad I don't know where to go next. The packaging is very nice and pretty, but the product falls very short.
I came across this company when I was searching for perfumes similar to my favorite that had been discontinued. Spring Fever by Origins. The first bottle of perfume that arrived didn't smell like the original, so i emailed the company and they immediately responded. They offered several options, either a refund, or offer to remake the scent. I opted to have them remake the scent. The new perfume arrived super fast, and smells like the Spring Fever I remember. This company has excellent customer service and I will order from them again!

I was really impressed by Scentmatchers' service and their willingness to try to match my favorite perfume. In the end, they came exceptionally close and I am blown away by how hard they tried. And although my final product isn't exactly the same as the scent I once loved, it's really close and I am happy to have it to use. I would recommend them if you need a scent duplicated, their customer service is amazing and they will go above and beyond to help you.
Caswell Massey stopped making Tricorn Cologne for men a few years ago. I had been using it for many years and was quite disappointed. I tried many different colognes for men, but none came close. I found ScentMatchers on a Google search and I am back in business again. The scent is identical and their service was extraordinary. I love this scent but since the manufacturer has discontinued it, I have had problems finding remaining bottles. I went on e-Bay and found containers for $200 plus to $300 plus but not the perfume or colon. You had it as a ScentMatch. This is my first order. I have skin sensitivity and many scents cause rashes. We will see if this scent match will smell as good with out the skin irritation that often hounds me!

In this case we processed your refund and then notified you we processed your refund. You e-mailed us again shortly after to ask where your refund was. We responded that we had already processed it and sent you a copy of the e-mail we sent notifying you of the refund as well as the receipt from our credit card processor. You e-mailed us again a couple days later. We again told you we had processed it and if you had questions or for some reason could not find your refund to contact your bank so they could find it for you. Finally after 11 e-mails, yes, I did inform you that I couldn't spend my time continually replying to your e-mails to provide the exact same answer. I apologize, but we are very busy and in fairness to our other customers we can only answer the same question with the same answer so many times. Eventually it is time to move on if you aren't listening to our answers.
