I was afraid I'd never be able to use my favorite scent again. Thanks to Scentmatchers not only do I have my favorite scent but it's also in a bath gel! The customer service is excellent and if the result wasn't what I wanted they be happy to help me get an exact match. Win-win situation.

I was a little skeptical that ScentMatchers could really duplicate a fragrance that's been discontinued for decades, but I finally decided to give them a chance. My "April Evening" arrived yesterday.
I absolutely love the fragrance! Despite the fact that it's very long-lasting, it's not overpowering at all--fresh and light, yet warm. It's perfect! The bottle is lovely--absolutely industry standard, as is the very attractive labeling. The packaging was perfect, and my bottle arrived in a very nice satin drawstring bag. Classy all the way!
I'll certainly be asking ScentMatchers to duplicate more of my discontinued favorites!
I have to say I was skeptical after having read some negative reviews but considering most reviews were extremely positive... I thought, let me give it shot and I am glad I did! I'll be honest, I haven't smelled this scent in a very long time but when I opened the box and put the bottle to my nose I literally told my partner, "Wow, this smells just like I remember!" I absolutely love it. So to anyone who is wanting to order the Ultima II UII Shear Scent... do it. You won't regret it.
The good news is that they were able to match the scent of my favorite perfume, TOVA, very closely.
Unfortunately that's where the good news stops. The first thing wrong was that once applied, the scent does not stay on very long at all. I found myself having to reapply every 30 minutes to an hour in order to keep the perfume smell noticeable.
Secondly, and more importantly, the scent changes in the bottle over a relatively short period of time to something unpleasant. It is a very distinctive odor that is no longer Tova and in fact, not even perfume smelling. It transforms into something like an astringent disinfectant smell and it's quite off-putting.
I was so disappointed as it is virtually impossible to find TOVA anywhere these days and I thought they had nailed it at first.
I will not be re-ordering unless these issues can be fixed.
I am a cursed individual. If I love something, it will, inevitably be discontinued. So when a newly found favorite perfume's company literally blew up, sold out, and discontinued my favorite perfume. I was so sad. I had heard of companies that match scents and after some research decided to give your company a try as my Christmas Present to myself. Let me say that this product was AMAZING! The scent I loved was actually an oil so I was a little worred. Scentmatchers created the PERFECT perfume. I am so very happy with this purchase and will be back, you can bet on it!
I ordered two bottles of perfume which arrived within about 2 weeks but unfortunately USPS was not gentle with them and both bottles arrived broken and the box was soaked. I took a photo of the box and sent it along with an email. I got a speedy reply promising to replace both bottles which they did quickly. No problems!
As for the perfumes themselves, I ordered matches of Dazzling Silver and Chaos. The Chaos is spot on - smells exactly like the original to me from first spray to dry down. The Dazzling Silver is very nice, but there's a distinctive note in the opening that's missing. The upside is that the dry down is very much as I remember. I'll definitely give Scent at hers a try with other perfumes I've been missing!
I payed $70.00 pus $10.00 for something that smelled terrible, reading the reviews I'm sure now they send everybody the same liquid that stinks, is so bad you can't even give it away, this people should be in jail for robing people.
If you read the reviews on their page is full of compliments, but I'm sure that are themselves writing them to entice people to order from them.
Considering that they had to concoct the scent rather than pull it off a shelf, a little over a week is pretty good service. I ordered YSL M7, long discontinued. YSL's new M7Oud is very different. The original is available on some sites for +$300. So this was a real bargain and a very close match to what I remember. A masculine scent and long-lasting. Glad I found ScentMatchers.
After being completely satisfied with my first foray into finding a discontinued scent (Catherine Deneuve's "Deneuve") and loving the lotion, regular-size bottle and travel bottle, I tried another discontinued scent ("Worth" by the House of Worth, Paris). Another success! The first shipment was "highjacked", but Scentmatchers immediately sent a replacement -- love this one, too! I have one more scent for them to match -- and my perfume wardrobe will be complete for a while. I whole-heartedly recommend this website!
I get compliments all the time about how good I smell. I have been ordering from here for a few years now and I love it. I recently introduced a friend of mine to them because she couldn't find her favorite any more. She was extremely happy with the bottle she got.
Gross feeling and smelling, took over a month to get to me, doesn't smell anything like what I ordered which was forever midnight from bath and body works. I have called and emailed with no response. I will be reporting to BBB and leaving reviews everywhere I can, I should have done my research, so many similar complaints.

I did a reorder from years ago and what came wasn't good, so after writing them they discovered a different oil was used originally. They ordered the correct oil and scent new bottles which turned out right on the money. A scent I've always loved but wasn't made anymore by the original manufacturer.

I received my order in the mail today and wow! Fantastic match (even better I think) to the discontinued cologne my husband had, Candies Men by Liz Claiborne. He got it from his son who was going to throw it away years ago, he could never stand to see something wasted. I met him several years ago and to me, this is his scent. He brought me the empty bottle several weeks ago and I eventually started looking for it since Christmas is coming up. I was crushed when I discovered it was discontinued and was on eBay for $199 and up. There was a suggestion to your site amongst the search results, so I read some reviews and went through the ordering process. I am absolutely thrilled, thank you!

Was looking for a favorite but discontinued fragrance called "Night" - by Halston. What I received smelled awful, like some cheap dollar store cologne. Not only was it not the fragrance I was anticipating, the perfume was so oily I had to actually use a tissue to remove the oily residue from my skin.
I emailed ScentMatchers with my complaint and, I suppose like most of those that complained, I never heard anything back. Guess I can always use this perfume as a bug spray as that is about all it is good for!
The shopping experience was OK but it is a bit silly to rate this site until I get the product and can review whether it matches up to their claims. The price was reasonable but the jury will remain out until I get my purchase and can compare with the real thing and see if ScentMatchers claims are accurate. I will of course be totally honest in my review then!

Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.
