Holy moly... my scent arrived today. And it took me back to 1995 easily. I was always so saddened by the fact that the "different" smells that I enjoyed over the years would leave the market completely. To know that I can now obtain those favorites again is mind blowing to me. What a day maker this has turned out to be. The smell I craved was "Grass by Gap", ya'll remember that?!? Well it may not be dead accurate with the scent but it's pretty dang close. I love it! I appreciate it all the more! I'll be placing a few more orders for older favs for sure with how close this match was. I am pleasantly satisfied with my purchase.
I ordered two scents from this company I was pleased with the service and the presentation. My perfume was not exact (who could do that?) but close enough to bring back memories of a magic, classy 30 year marriage. When my husband passed i was surprised how important the sense of smell became. I ordered a discontinued perfume scent from this company. Though it goes away quickly it is enough of a ghost to satisfy my longing.
This team of workers perfectly revived my old perfume. Once upon a time, I found the most wonderful scent of perfume, when I put it on, I felt confident. Plus got compliments.
Aphrodesia perfume disappeared from stores twenty years ago. So I quit wearing perfumes. Then I spoke with ScentMatchers; they matched my perfume. Wow! was I surprised. I love what they did. I may forget a medication or chore, but always remember my Perfume they made. I reclaimed part of my life & love it.

They will send you a really horrible nasty liquid that does NOT match even remotely, no refund, and the BBB will decide the issue is "resolved" without your consent. I suspect any good reviews are fake reviews. It's a rip off.
Ordered New West by Aramis scent match. Waited over 3 weeks for it to arrive. Unfortunately, $70 later, the scent is not remotely close to the actual New West. It smells terrible and completely nauseating. Sorry, but it's actually worth paying $300 for the real thing on Amazon or other sites who still have some authentic bottles remaining.
Although the match was not a successful one for my scent, I couldnt have worked with nicer people.
They offered to try again if I had a sample of the original fragrance, which I did not.
I came to discover my fragrance was still being made after all! I will try them again in the future!

Lack of communication. No one ever answers the phone. Have not heard about the shipping of my order and its been two weeks even though they originally said it was a cologne they have made before and would easily be made.
I ordered two scents that I've missed for years, Gucci No. 1 and Champagne by Germaine Montiel. Neither one even remotely resembled the originals. After contacting the company by email to tell them how displeased I was (thinking I was going to have a hard time making the return) I was very surprised. They were extremely professional, told me to keep the bottles and they would either try again or try something else. I opted for a new scent, Jo Malone Honeysuckle Jasmine. That turned out beautiful. A most wonderful summer scent, which I will be ordering again.
So, in closing, customer service is really great. They are extremely professional and will make sure that you end up happy. I will order from them again because I ended up happy, very happy.
I received my scent today... Scentmatchers version of V/S Versus by Versace... and I am on cloud nine. I haven't smelled anything so brilliant in at least 10 years... since my perfume was discontinued. The scent is 99% perfect
I couldn't be happier. I am not just impressed with the scent itself but the bottle I picked is beautiful... and I absolutely LOVE that I got to pick the name of my new perfume. Also impressed that it only took 2 weeks to receive my order and Scentmatchers did a wonderful job keeping me posted on the status of my order.
Even if I was able to buy the real thing I would still buy Scentmatchers product! I get twice as much for half the price. They have really out done themselves.
I will definitely be reordering... and sooner rather than later because I am going to wear this scent every singe day. My next order will include a travel size bottle and the matching scented lotion as well.
I am beyond over joyed with Scentmatchers! So very happy I found them! I purchased the original TOVA fragrance, that is next to impossible to find, or when I did, it was way over priced. The fragrance was spot on, and a terrific value. Large bottle nicely presented in a satin bag! Their communication and customer service is outstanding! Love these folks and will certainly be returning for more!
Their first attempt was NOTHING even remotely close to the scent I was hoping to match. They offered to send a sample kit for a second try but that took over a month to get. I wrote to them several times and got no response. I finally sent in the kit and haven't heard a word or received my perfume.
"I just recently received my "reboot" of Madeleine de Madeleine. I am absolutely thrilled. In fact, this scent is lighter and more subtle than the original probably due to the lack of alcohol. I absolutely love it! Many, many thanks and I will be a repeat customer!"
I ordered Tommy Hilfiger Freedom and what I received was nothing like it! Emailed support and asked for refund or to make the correct perfume. All I got was no returns, money back and they will not remake product. If they stand by there product then they should be responsible for making mistakes. I am disappointed... I was really looking forward to smelling that perfume again. This is bad business and I wish I would of seen the reviews before I spent $80 on garbage that will end up in the trashcan.
Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. But my scent does not smell like Yves Rocher's Eryo... I still have some original left and it's CLEARLY two very different smells. I'm even willing to ship the company some original Eryo if it would help match the scent better in the future. Update: I shipped a small sample and they re-did it and sent me a new bottle. As I teach adults for a living; I passed the samples around my classroom and had several people smell them. They are still two very different scents. The new bottle's sprayer broke quickly as well. I won't bother for a refund - just be aware- it not the same as Yves Rocher Eryo.
When my mother and father first met circa 1957, Avon Nearness was her fragrance. After they married in 1960, Avon discontinued it. My father tried in vain to find a spare bottle of it somewhere, even called Avon to see if they would bring it back. Alas, it was long gone and they were both crestfallen because she loved it so much and my father loved it on her. He died in 1984. Flash forward to the present: while visiting the Fragrantica website I had a discussion with someone re the discontinuation of a Tom Ford fragrance I wanted. He suggested that ScentMatchers could replicate it. While checking for it I happened to see that Avon Nearness was on the list as one that they could reproduce. I was ecstatic for my mother and ordered it for her. It just arrived today and she is so pleased and touched to have this fragrance again and says it smells near-identical to the 1950's original. Thank you so much for recreating a beautiful memory for her.
I was pretty happy with this service, I'd say they got it 90% right. It's missing something though from the original. I'd call it sharpness or crispness, almost as if it were a picture it was a bit blurry. Like if you really wanted a corvette and you finally got one but then it had a small dent in the bumper. You are still happy you got the vet, but you really really wish it didn't have the dent.
Considering I can't find it anywhere else, I'll be buying again though. Even at 90% it's still the best fragrance ever.
Wanted a 1960 perfume, the product didnt quite resemble what I wanted but customer service remade me another similar one. I was not charged for this and appreciated their efforts. Would order again. They stand behind what they make.

*Found the site easy to use, don't care about any of that customization crap. I want my fragrance, not some bottle with my name on it. Just a waste of time.
*Waited about two weeks, did not e-mail or call them because I know it takes time by reading the site.
*Product arrived, it smells just as good as the original, strentgh and staying power are above average. Happy as a fat rat in a cheese factory.

Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.
