I've purchased a few times from them. They recreated SUN MOON STARS for me. The last purchase disappointed me. They used a non-alcohol base that was different. They immediately replaced it free of charge with an alcohol based perfume. I love these folks!
Interlude was discontinued some years ago, and is only available at outrageous prices for half-empty bottles on ebay. ScentMatchers sent a big and a bonus bottle of the matched scent, and it's great. Will use them again.
Years ago when my Deneuve eau de cologne ran out, I was devastated to hear they had stopped making it. While E-Bay has mini sample bottles for sale, at horrid prices!, I found ScentMatchers and they were able to duplicate Deneuve, along with a lovely, personalized bottle and offered body lotion and a travel size at a low price to make a nice total package. I would recommend you try them for any fragrance, available or out of production! What a find!
They made a nice replica of a long discontinued scent that I loved and it came in a pretty package. It does take a little longer than most standard shipments but I personally didn't mind. Especially when you consider what they do. Their customer service is excellent. I'll be back to reorder.
Remarkable talent - what I ordered has gone out of "print" so to speak, and I could only find a few folks online with partial bottles - selling them upwards of 250 and 300 dollars! This family has a superb talent! My lady friend told me "I can't believe you actually spent 300 dollars to get your cologne!" She could not tell the difference... Bravo Scentmatchers... bravo! I"ll be back for more!
My husband was hoping to replace a discontinued Bath and Body Works scent that he used to use. ScentMatchers came pretty close, but it didn't quite work. We asked for a refund and after sending the product back and providing the shipping information, we were given our money back. Susan with customer service was very responsive and helpful. I would try it again in the future if I can no longer find my favorite perfume.
I recently purchased two bottles of you Romance Silver reproduction. Ive been using it for about three weeks, and wanted to give you my thoughts on your product.
1. Your customer service was extremely helpful, and easy to work with.
2. The speed of delivery was also good.
3. The match on the scent was very close, almost perfect.
The only issue I've seen is the sustainability of the scent. I have one bottle of the original left that I use for special occasions. When I spray it on my shirt, I can smell it on there two or three days later. Not so with your version. It seems to wear out within the day, and I need to respray if I'm going on a long day out. I'm not sure how this could be remedied, or why the original lasts like it does, but this is something I would like to see fixed if possible.
Otherwise, my experience with you guys was pleasurable. Thank you.
***Update: company posted on the BBB site that they will refund anyone who files a complaint about their no refund policy, to the BBB. Might be worth a try. I filed.
Although it looks like this company is going out of business, how in the world are they actually still in business? Paid 81.99 for a bottle of what can be described as rotted lemons, drain cleaner or knock off lemon pledge. SO greasy and stinky. They revamped their website after I purchased so their site is a shell of what it was previously and they state zero refunds, returns or replacements. There should be a class action lawsuit for all of us that were duped to get refunds.
Total scam. Do your homework and read the reviews on every site you can find.
They promise to match a scent - but, they don't. Not even close. This is a complete fraud.
Look into all of the businesses owned by Angela Lynn Schultz and Adam Lawrence Schultz. You will see this is a pattern. And they are making a fortune committing this fraud. Owning and showing horses is expensive, but they seem to do just fine with trips around the world, etc. Forty acres of land and an 8100 square foot house with 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms - all on a lineman's salary.

As everyone here has stated these people are con artists and it's pathetic that they do what they do. My son bought me a scent for Christmas he was so excited that he found someone to make my favorite perfume for me. $81 for a bottle of rubbing alcohol and bathroom sanitizer and he has to work three days to make that money at his job. Deplorable people who prey on the innocent hard working class people. Karma is a $#*! I hope all the people you have wronged send enough negative energy your way. How do you look at yourselves in the mirror knowing what you have done.
I regret ever making a purchase here. They are not selling what they say They are selling. You will not get a re-created fragrance. The customer service is horrible. Dealing with them has been a complete nightmare.
I was so excited to find a place that could match Este Lauder's discontinued White Linen Light Breeze that I ordered two bottles. But the scent was really bad with a chemical tinge, nothing close to the original scent. And Scent Matcher's no refund policy is unethical. It is false advertising with no recourse. I am working with my credit card to challenge the charges.
I received a bottle of the duplicate for Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Divine for Christmas and it was awful! All I could smell was vanilla which is not part of the scent profile. My sister bought this for me and she has filed with BBB. This company says they offer something you want, but they send you whatever they have on the shelf. Don't be suckered by this team of frauds!
Well it looks like everyone on this site got the same automated response from customer service. I too ordered Fendi original for myself and Galore for my mother. I was so excited that I could have our favorite fragrance for a "reasonable " price. My fragrance came and is so AWFUL " that I had to toss a box of tissues as I sprayed on one just to make certain it wasn't a problem with my body chemistry. I used one of those tissues. Big mistake, I had to use saline to rinse the fragrance and wash my face to get remaining Fragrance off. You can return fragrance to Macy's NORDSTROM Sephora etc so don't know why their policy is different. If the policy was in smalll print I didn't see it nor did customer service refer me to that policy. My mother lives 3000 miles away I wanted to surprise her, she will be 90 years old.
Horrible product. Order this for my wife and it was not even close to the sent. Smelled like medicine. I will never recommend this company or it's products. $82.00 flushed.
What I received was a horrible smell. Not even in the same universe. What I received was what old ladies used to cover their smoking smell back in the 70's. Absolutely vile! Tried to contact company support and never could get a response. Out over 50.00. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM
As soon as I received my bottle of a match to Safari for men by Ralph Lauren I noticed there was floating debris and a hair floating inside the liquid! They claim to respond to emails within an hour, 24 hours at the most. I have been emailing for days without a response. They also deleted my comments, pictures and videos off their Facebook page. All I wanted was a refund because debris and hair inside a cologne bottle is disgusting. I am disappointed and now angry they wont help me with this problem. There is no quality control in their matching/blending process it seems.
I order in March 23, got my order today April 27... 1 month later... the perfume was suppose to be August by Hollister smells nothing like it, smells so bad! What a waste! So upset. Don't be fooled by these people!
I've really missed this scent. They discontinued it a few yrs ago. It's from the bare minerals company. This version is good but very week. I cant smell it very well. But I'm glad I have this one." If you could make the scent stronger. Smells like original.
Update: my credit card company refunded my money which is nice. The bottles now have chunks of gross sediment floating in them. Horrible that they are scamming people with this disgusting "fragrance".
Im convinced they send the same baby powder smelling, cheap fragrance to everyone. Didn't come close to matching and everything is poor quality. The two bottles they sent have some sort of gross sediment floating in it (see picture). Dont waste your time and money. Im guessing most of the good reviews are not real.

Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
