Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

I like my Ryobi tools for the same reason many have already mentioned. I like their lightweight. I'm 61 years old now, with a bad back. The light weight allows to continue working on my yard or, house. It provides me the independence that I want. I like the displays at Home Depot. I can quickly scan through the various products available. I am impressed with the durability and, power of these battery operated tools.
Just bought 2 18 volt batteries and 2 of the 4 were not charging. Pbp004. Not sure why this. This is the second time this has happened not sure if i will buy anymore
Very strong tool, has worked on all the things that i have tried. Heavy duty, must be careful or you could break a bolt off. I use it on small engine stuff and its doing a great job. Had one fail and Ryobi stood behind it great.
I own a small construction company and all my cordless tools are Ryobi, they cost less, do the work just fine, last just as long as other cordless tools, I have had some of my tools for 5+ years and have never had a bad battery. I am very satisfied with Ryobi. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs cordless tools.

All your tools are reliable and battery power seems to last longer than all other competition.
I'm a licensed contractor and have used many other brands, but the variety of your complete tool packages have the others beat hands down. Thank You Ryobi
I have used Ryobi tools for years, I am an electrical contractor and I have a box truck that I work out of and I have a power cord -female end ran under my truck so I can charge all my tools at night by just plugging in a cord at my shop. I use your flash light and drills and hammer drill, going to get a batt. Saws all soon. Love the batt. Power tools and have used them for many years. Tom Bonnett — Bonnetts Electrical Services
I purchased the Ryobi battery powered bard Nailer and will tell you this product is up to the task. From thin, soft wood to hardwoods. I have used this on a dozen product and would not have been able to complete the "honey-do" list with out, not to mention my wife is able to operate without and difficulty.
Highly recommend.
I purchased ryobi 38cc gas chainsaw needed a small saw, so far runs great easy starts, best small chain saw I ever had
When I first tried it. I was disappointed. What the problem was that the edge of the input chute was putting a drag on the blower because it was rubbing on the ground and on the sidewalk. You had to push down on the handle to go forward.
My solution was to mount 3 inch wheels. One on each side of the chute. There is a screw on each side that you remove and replace with a longer one. You can buy any type of wheel. I bought rubber ones. Now when I go forward it is smooth sailing.
Hope this helps someone.
I've purchased just about every tool ryobi had made. The last 2 purchased were a battery powered pressure washer and a battery powered air pump. I'm not happy with either purchase. My hose has more pressure than the pressure washer and the air pump only goes to 20 psi before leaking. I bought the extended warranty on both but I've never had a problem with any of the other tools so I didn't bother to register. So now being passed the time to register I'm stuck with these 2 tools that I'm extremely unhappy with. All my other tools work 100% and I'm happy with. I literally have almost all of the battery operated line that they make. I tell everyone to buy because I've never had a problem. Won't make the mistake of not registering again
The unit has plenty of pressure to make cleaning easy. It is light and easy to move, and the long power cord is great. I would recommend this product to a friend.
I purchased my snow blower Summer 2021, and pulled it out for the first time in January 2022. There was a part missing, so I called Ryobi customer service to have this issue resolved. I received the best customer service experience, I was so impressed I had to leave a review. The representatives I spoke with Pam and another young lady both were excellent, they were very polite and were determined to resolve my issue. I'm very satisfied with the service I received, and will definitely recommend Ryobi products.
Nice little chainsaw, perfect for cutting logs for the solo stove fire pit. Light weight, plenty of power.
The tools I got for Christmas are like nothing Ive worked with before. Light weight durable and the battery is interchangable for all the tools. Its great
I've been buying Ryobi 1+ tools for years. I've got to the point where I reach for one of them rather than use my corded tools. The batteries are years old and still holds charges better then any other brands I've owned in the past.
My new battery lawn mower is great. I've tried other lawn mowers and even a weed trimmer. None can compare with my new battery powered mower.
Just got this saw for Christmas. Love that's it work with all 18 volt ryobi batteries. It comes with everything u need except bar chain oil. The Chain is manual lube by a push button on top of the saw. It's quiet light weight. And u won't have to fuss with mixing has and carburetor problem like your gas engines.
I punish my Ryobi tools to the fullest extent possible, so they must be good. For China made products, these are great.
With the purchase today of the Ryobi hand vac, we now have a total 6 tools that go with the 18volt! We love them all and will continue to add more as needed. The vacuum works great!
I am happy with the small bench grinder, but have one concern. The holes for mounting the spark shield assembly were painted over and would not allow the screws to go in. I had to tap the holes to allow the assembly.
Answer: I own 2 chain saws, 18" bar and 14"bar, both run excellent, I have cleared a lot of trees over the last several years on property up north, thank you
Answer: Yes, call Ryobi's 800 number. They will send a replacement. The same thing happened to me.
