Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

Nice design. I have white finger disease from running a chainsaw for 53 years, and the vibrations from the sander does not bother me. The RS290G is a pleasure to operate. It fit my hands, now if only I can get the sanding discs to last.
So I've owned ryobi from the first set I've bought almost all of the tools some are better than. Others, one tool I fond useless to buy but it works great is the handheld sewer machine. If it gets bent or needs replacing like any other brand u can replace with a new cable but not ryobi there isn't a easy way of changing them out. I have bough four of the handheld snakes and I like other than that and. I have bought a couple lights that just go out for no reason but I will say the new handheld flashlight is one bad light u can see two blocks with it at night, love it, six gallon shop vac is one of my favorite tools and the new packouts are great but would love not to have to buy a new machine everytime time just sell your own replacement cables and make a way to exchange the old one with the new one and make it where your cables are the only one that fits and works.
Thank u for your time

Purchased Electric Pressure Washer after owning several ICE pressure washers over the last 35 years. Tired of heavy, hard starting, keeping gas and oil in my garage, changing sparkplugs and replacing gummed up carburetors, had to at least try an electric pressure washer. Wow, one touch of the button, and my Ryobi Washer was working flawlessly out of the box. Have since added the rotary surface cleaner attachment and very pleased with how it works on concrete drive and patio. Worth every penny.
I've been in construction for 25 years, from Laborer to commercial Superintendent. Worn out a lot of tools. Ryobi tools are OK but homeowner grade. Your local pro will use other brands. Retired now, I'v tried Ryobi for projects around the house. My miter box and battery circular saw have both developed noisy bearings at a young age. My year old string trimmer recently just stopped working. The drills are fine, the battery sawzalls are fun. Just not pro grade.
In Dec 21 I purchased the 40 volt snow blower as we have a corner lot with lots of sidewalks ad at age 77 I am getting tired of the shove. Really surprised with the power this units has in powder and wet snow. It cleans right down to the cement and throws the snow a good 10 feet out of the directional chute. Light and easy to push - this is a real winner. In March 22 I purchased a 40 volt push mower with a 7.5 amp hour battery that can be used between the snow blower and the mower ( i have 2 other smaller amp 40 volt from a Walker and sidewalk blower). Have used the mower twice and it really costs nice and is easy to push. The battery after the first use was only down one light. No more gas/pulling rope/noise or pollution. This mower is a keeper.
Good Project given the price. It came with all the required tools and working well for me for last one week,
Thanks,
Anther awesome click connect tool from Ryobi! Just used a edger and it works great and easy to control!
I've been installing tile for 45 years, I've always used the bigger wet saw's that you had to set up outside and they do make quite a mess, roughly 8 years ago I was introduced to this little saw that can do so much, I do a lot of custom showers, backsplash's, Floors and walls with tile, I can setup this wet saw in any room I'm working in and on any countertop and keep my mess contained with the system I've created, not to mention the hours I save not having to go outside to make my cuts, I do call a disposable saw because I go through 1 sometimes 2 saws a year but the price is quite reasonable that it's worth it, For the do it yourself homeowners and professionals I highly recommend this are you will be 7 inch tile wet saw
This is my first electric mower, with the light weight and power I do not need a self propelled mower.
Received the jigsaw was just awesome. Battery is so much easier then a corded one. Can move all around without worrying about the cord,
Was cutting a 2x8 with saw and shaft broke off just below the locking point. Very disapointed in this.
It is very difficult to read the battery instructions showing which direction to insert the batteries. We could not find a serial number for the product. Also, being an older adult, I found it extremely difficult to read the very small print on the laser itself.
I have 21 different 18 volt Ryobi hand tools I have lights fans drills impact skill saws blowers the whole line yards side grinder. I never had any trouble with them I have about six different chargers I keep all my batteries charged I'll buy the big batteries all the time when I get them in a two pack if I can wear any of them out I got brand new ones to replace them with. So I needed a bench grinder naturally I went to Home Depot and I bought a Ryobi bench grinder. So far so good I think it's an excellent tool I'm going to put a brush on one side and buffing wheels on the other side because I collect old knives and clean them up this way I can get all the crud off of them and buff them and polish them like brand new. In any event I don't have any problem with the Ryobi tools I just have trouble now just to find what else I need to buy like do I really need that some stuff you use very rarely like a angle drill I've always wanted angle drill but now I can't justify buying it what am I going to use it for.
I need to redo my review, Ryobi has contacted me and is helping to address my issues. So I'll be back with a new review. I am giving it 3 stars just for the way it removes snow will add a star or two when my issues are resolved.
I wasn't sure about trying a battery operated sprayer so I held off for a while. But I purchased the one gallon and used it four times in one day and was amazed by the power and ease of use. NO more PUMP PUMP. It was such a joy I purchased the four gallon which really cut my application time in half of more. I highly recommend it and it is also a good fit, battery wise, with my other 18v Ryobi tools.
I buy this bandsaw from Rayobi and it's amazing. It cuts so good and Straight, very Quiet machine.
I recently purchased the Ryobi 10" 18V cordless Chainsaw for light work, pruning small fruit trees. If you are a home gardener, I highly recommend this product. It is lightweight. Easy to use, with important safety features. The convenience of being battery powered. Performance is more than adequate for home use. A very valuable tool added, to our quiver of Ryobi tools. Comes with a three year limited warranty. A measure of confidence!
Bought the bench grinder for personal use, just the right fit for what I need done.
Great little machine built very well
Answer: I own 2 chain saws, 18" bar and 14"bar, both run excellent, I have cleared a lot of trees over the last several years on property up north, thank you
Answer: Yes, call Ryobi's 800 number. They will send a replacement. The same thing happened to me.
