Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

I'm a Ryobi self appointed ambassador, this is my 20th tool hand, garden & tabletop. I swear buy them & promote them all the time. My neighbors, family & friend's have all come on-board after using mine. I find them to be highly reliable & durable. I use them for home & work. I'll be a customer for life, my son is already eyeballing them for himself& my wife steals them all the time for her use,now if I can show her how to recharge the batteries I'll be fine!
This is a great Rotary for anyone who works/plays away from household power.
Has plenty of power to handle any need for it!
Purchased January, 2021. Didn't use until December 2022 because no snow. Worked great for about 1 hour, then died. Re-charged batteries and tried to start again. No luck. Returned to Home Depot. Since over 90 days old, they wouldn't replace. After calls with Ryobi, they sent me back to Home Depot, which was 80 miles from my home. Home Depot finally agreed to send it to Arizona to repair, but I had to $30 freight. Needless to say, I won't buy from Home Depot or Ryobi in future.
I do not recommend using Ryobi tools. We had a miter saw given to us as a gift and I was super excited to try a new brand but I have been endlessly disappointed. This saw has given us endless issues. Finally I contacted support to look at the warranty and while this does come with a warranty, you need to pay $30 after you haul this big $#*! tool into a store just to get it looked at. I highly recommend Craftsman, Kolbalt, Black and Decker over anything Ryobi. I have had to deal with support a lot less and have always been happy with case resolution with those companies.
I recently purchased a Ryobi One+ 18 V Cordless Palm Router. I had never used a palm router before. I love the ease of use, and the ability to hold this router with my smaller hands. The dust duct for attaching my shop vac was a handy accessory. I can't wait to find another project to use it on.
Bought a powerwasher on Jan2022 after a while start falling apart a finally needed serious repair! No local Ryobi repair shop accepted the power washer! Only option was Home Depot after 2 months they are telling me it takes up to 7 months! That's ridiculously $#*!ed he it's not even a year since I bought it so image for thief 3 year warranty
I have had had many Riobi products over the past 12 years and loved them all. But this last purchase of the Ryobi One + 18V 1/2 Drill/Driver tops them all Wow! I can screw into wood without predrilling and the screws countersink themselves. So fast and so easy! Love Love Love it!
I called Ryobi about a 3 year old battery that would not charge. They told me t was out of warranty and they could not help me. They told me they do not sell batteries! Home Depot wants the same money for a replacement battery as the whole product. Never going to buy Ryobi again
I purchased this inverter to power my WIFI router during power outages. This inverter fits in your hand and provides the power I need. I do not want to run my generator all day long. The Ryobi power inverter will power my router so I can continue working from home. I also purchased a 12 inch zipper pouch to keep my inverter and cables in. I live in Northern California and have suffered several power outages in the past two years.
By RYOBI's policy, if you have a tool no longer functional under warranty you should bring it to an authorized dealer (Home Depot). Once there, they require a $32.46 deposit in order to have it looked at. I brought in a broken Ryobi reciprocator which was under warranty and paid the required fee. This was on 10/19/2022, today is 11/30/2022. I contacted the Home Depot I left it with about status and they said they didn't have a clue where it was, if it was received at their service center or what I could expect. After trying to contact the Ryobi customer service center multiple times with promised unreturned calls, I finally reached someone. My take on this, Ryobi takes no responsibiity for their products and is utterly incompetent in their customer service policies. Pay a little more for a better product and better company. I would not recommend Ryobi again after this experience.
Very satisfied with my tools I purchased at Home Depot. Good store to purchase Ryobi equipment.

The 18V Blower exceeded my expectations. It's light weight, easy to use and it has all the power I needed for most outdoor jobs!
Once again Ryobi has introduced a wonderful and useful product.Great for around the house and perfect for the cottage.
Just got started and it outperformed the 20v one I already had. Cuts smoothly and has much mor staying time.
MY name is Artie I am 69 years old and have been using roybi 18v for the last 7 years I have a little more than 30 roybi 18v tools. Just purchased two new tools, one is a heat gun we use it to bend pvc pipe for christmas archs for our driveway. Tool works great heats up fast and cools down as fast. I have old blue jig saw still works fine but I wanted a newer model. In my tool collection I have compound miter saw 18v. Great for molding and miter cuts. The battery that I have number 1-31 1.5ah to 6ah they last a long time for working. All my roybi tools work very well no problems with them. Thanks for making these great tools.
Just used my new Ryobi bower on my back lawn blowing off the patio plus piling leaves. Works great! Plenty of power to do the job and lightweight.
These shears are great they work very well on roof metal very well makes my job easier, I own 17 Ryobi tools love them all
In purchasing several Ryobi Tools from Home Depot, I find that competitive prices are no match with the Ryobi Tool manufacture. The value, and economics of the Ryobi Tool manufacture since incorporating with Home Depot exceeds and surpasses the competitor by a long shot. They are motivated by their own design engineers and by the company that sponsor's them. Not only the satisfaction that the customer obtains from the tool design, and its function but it outlast the competitor of its retail price. No complaints - Very satisfied.!.
Bought a 6 tool package for my wife, I have had to replace 2 batteries, circular saw, and multi tool, sent then both in after breaking with less than a hour of work time total, approx used 5 times for 10 minutes each time, after a month, I recieved fixed tools supposely and they stopped working in same amount of time. I have been in construction my whole life, use mostly dewalt, and have had good luck. But for my 67 year old wife, I thought this would suffice, WRONG, also Home Depot doesnt stand behind ryobi, either. Talked to service deck no help at all. Zero customer service. In my 65 years, I haven't wrote but one other bad review, so that will tell you how bad these tools and company is. I will be checking this website to see if they keep this review posted.
Answer: I own 2 chain saws, 18" bar and 14"bar, both run excellent, I have cleared a lot of trees over the last several years on property up north, thank you
Answer: Yes, call Ryobi's 800 number. They will send a replacement. The same thing happened to me.
