Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

Ease of assembly. No issues attaching my RYOBI router. Took some finagling to get the router bit at the debts I desired. Once set up it preformed as expected.
I would recommend.
Purchased at Home Depot.
I've bought a garage full of ryobi tools in the last 4 years based on the fact that Home Depot did their warranty service repairs. The self propelled function went out on my lawn mower while still under warranty. Home Depot is no longer a service center for Ryobi tools effective January of 2023. My only option now is to drive or ship my lawn mower 135 miles from my home. That doesn't really work for me, so Ryobi told me that's your option, if you don't take it, your warranty service is not covered. Crappy customer service. Ryobi needs more service centers since they lost Home Depot. Having to ship a lawn mower for warranty repairs is ridiculous. Sure wish I didn't have a garage full of these tools. I certainly will not be purchasing any more of them since they can't honor their warranty service without it being a major inconvenience for their customers.
We had a major ice storm in TX, many tree branches were damaged and we did not have a chainsaw. The shear volume of branches meant we could not use an axe or saw to cut all down to size. We chose the cordless model as we have a complete set of yard tools lawn mower, weed eater and blower already in cordless model so our chose was an wasy one to make. In now time we had all cut with some of the wood stacked for firewood. Meant we were done in short order using our blower for final clean up. Great product and performed outandingly. Thanks for another fine tool.
I used this awesome tool yesterday, and it did its thing! My weeds were gone, it was so light and I didn't hurt after I used it. It did the job and I highly recommend this tool. It made my trees and bushes look like they should. You need to have this fabulous tool in your garden. Thank you Home Depot for selling Ryobi products.
I purchased an Electric Ryobi Weed Eater and a Ryobi Blower today & can't wait to use it! I have several of your products but this is my first time buying electric ones. I did start it up and it feels and sounds great! Can't wait to use it on my lawn!
I bought the PSI 1900 pressure cleaner. The unit itself is great, lightweight powerful and efficient however the hose is garbage quality.it broke after only four uses. I called customer service and they immediately said they would send me another one free of charge, to their credit
I have about 30 Ryobi tools and love them but if you need warranty service, expect a run around and long frustrating delays. Their registration web site has not worked in the past 2 years, just crashes with a 404 error message. Ryobi wants you to register your product for a chance to win $10,000 but only the QR code gets you to the working site. I spent 5 minutes entering the information only to have the site crash.
I think Ryobi is good for all adults. It is small, easy to carry, economical. Great for small and medium projects around home.
Just purchased my Ryobi 18V Buffer/polisher. I used it today to apply wax to my car, it did a great job as long as you follow the instructions if your new to doing this. After waxing I switched to the buffing part of the job, which again this product did a very great job. You don't have to apply pressure to the buffer, just let it do its job as designed. The handles are very easy to grip and do not cause fatigue. The buffing and polishing pads were easy to install and held up very well. The battery lasted through the whole process. I would recommend this product.
I'm a 40+ year building contractor. I purchased my first set of ryobi battery operated tools sum at least 25 years ago. Three generations of tools ago. I still have some of the blue ones, and still going. I bought the first set around Christmas because it seemed like a great deal. Almost a disposable price, couldn't pass it up. Still have some, RUNNING!
I figured I'd give them a try. Used them everyday, dropped them, abused them. Kept running for the most part. So I started buying them for the crew because if they lost them, broke them, it would not be as expensive as the type everyone else was using at the time (less then half). Mostly good luck.
Now after 25 years I'm still buying them. 3rd generation green ( brushless).
I have the garden tools also for home. The 40v chainsaw is impressive. The only one I was disappointed with was the string trimmer.
I would, and do recommend these tools to friends.
For the price, good little tools.
Batteries hold up well also. I have well over a dozen 18v now, and 40v.
I just wish you would make more type of tools.
And if you want to send me some tools to try out and see how they work, I'm up for that.
Don't have many of the brushless yet.
Hold charge as promised. However keep a charged spare to prevent work interrupted
Home Depot employees in Gloucester VA very helpful and polite.
I am a homeowner who purchased a Ryobi P2803 electric garden sprayer less than one year ago. After using the sprayer for about two months, the on/off plunger switch (under the handle) began to constantly get jammed. Ryobi will not replace the unit and expects me to drive half an hour to a service center to have them look at it and see if they can repair it. I was told by the service center that the repair could take several months, depending on the part. This is not what I paid for. I will purchase another sprayer from a more reputable company and deposit my Ryobi in the trash. My recommendation is DO NOT BY RYOBI TOOLS!
I have received two Ryobi tools as a Christmas gift(s) feom my son. They include a leaf blower and recriprocating saw.I have used both and are fantastic. Easy to set up and use and long lasting 18 volt rechareable units. They ar perfect for my use on driveways, sidewalks, tree branches, and screende porch floor. I couldnd not have been more pleased for these gifts and how well they perform.
I have a lot of deciduous trees in my large lawn. The Ryobi Leaf Vacuum saves me hours of time each week when compared to the hand raking that I used to have to perform.
Just received a new reciprocating saw for Xmas. I already had one but it was pretty well worn.
I have several Ryobi products and they have always worked well for me.I have at least 12
And even a cordless sweeper that my wife loves. I highly recommend Ryobi as a superior
Product. The batteries seem to last forever.

I have used ryobi tools for years and i have not had any problems at all with the performance of these products. I have four drills, one palm sander, one blower, one weeder and well satisfied with all of these tools. Highly recomend all of them.
I use to use another brand cordless tool until they simply got too expensive to use. I bought a RyoBi to give it a try. This was about 25 years ago. I have yet to experience a single problem with ANY of the battery operated tools I purchased. As my electric or gas powered tools, like my chain saw, gave out I replaced them with RyoBi. I will continue to do that until ALL my power tools are RyoBi. I am that Satisfied.
All tools of Ryobi can use the same batteries and makes it very convenient when working with different tools on jobs.I will continue to use these tools and buy more different kinds that come available.Thank you RYOBI.
First of all I got the greatest Christmas present this year, a Ryobi Cordless Bug Zapper, we camp in our RV travel trailer quite a bit and enjoy ourselves with our only Grandson, this BugZapper will be great because we sit outside at night and enjoy the fire and campground, what a great new Ryobi Tool, thanks and keep up the great tools you come out with, Happy Campers!
Answer: I own 2 chain saws, 18" bar and 14"bar, both run excellent, I have cleared a lot of trees over the last several years on property up north, thank you
Answer: Yes, call Ryobi's 800 number. They will send a replacement. The same thing happened to me.
