My 2 yo daughter stepped on one of their security pins near the cashier. Pin went thru shoes and into her foot.
Manager came and write up, then she said that a corporate will call me. 10 days later, none called even to check on my daughters condition. I had to call the store and manager declined. 30 min later, I get a call from rossstores.com a lady asking what I wanted? She claimed I had medical and that should cover it. Then she said I'm trying to blackmail them when I said its lawyer time. I know strategy is to push away the claim. Any help, can I sue and not pay a lawyer
I will never visit this store again base on my experience. The many years that I have went to this store they have always been been pretty good. I decide to pay in cash this time and notice the sales associate did not give back my change. I ask her if she realize this and her reply was we are short on change. I said so you deliberately cheat customers out of money. I spoke to her manager and she said yes "It has been a headache to us". I have never heard of a store not giving customers back their change. I don't know who is running this store but its the worst management I have ever seen. It's more than just the money its the principle that counts. I will never enter this store again base on this encounter. If you visit this store just know you will not get your change back if you are owed any.
So what is the point of printing out a gift card receipt balance when you purchase a gift card? My friend bought 4 gift cards 3 years ago and the store failed to activate it and Gave me the gift cards to my kids along with the customer copy gift card sale that includes the balances. Called into customer service the entire month and they lead me to wrong $#*!ing departments and directed me to a different company to have the gift card resolved. Great. Finally was able to reach someone today and they told me that they cannot do anything about it because I don't have the purchased receipt. Someone gave the gift card as a gift and they only gave me the gift card sale receipt. Stupid $#*! company.
I have always found GREAT buy's anytime I've shopped at any Ross, and I have been to several out of state as well. They always have something that fits me, which is rare, I am a size 0 or size 2. My only complaint that I have, is the clutter. Needs better organization and item's should be in any type of order. While I love to shop there, I always know to allow extra time, simply to find what I came for.
I will never shop Ross again after the way I was treated because I can't wear a mask. Every Ross I've ever been in the employee's are something to be desired. Time to take a look at your management and employees.
I bought shoes from Ross and only wore one time and I had blisters all over my ankles and was an hour away from home so I couldn't just change shoes. I went to return and they denied my return because I wore them (for my first day at a University) one time. Like I was supposed to know they was going to tear my ankles apart! Very poor customer service! Not to mention they didn't tell me this when I came in and went and picked out other things well over the cost of the shoes. Needless to say when I went to check out they denied the return because I wore for a day and they couldn't resale. I walked out and didn't purchase a thing. Will not after that experience!
The store #1389 in Tracy Ca looked like a mess. No clean up and the manager #******* was very rude when this was brought to his attention. He talked down to me by rushing me out of the store saying this is the way it was.
I was there to shop because I recently open my credit card for Ross so they send me a 10 percent off to use the manger did not want to put my coupon through she made me call customer service card had them ask her to put it through it has not been use and she say ok and all hang up at then end she say no it's been used can't process it intop of that the cashier gave me 10 percent off for shoes been dirty so she cancel that also say no we don't give nothing for shoes being dirty I was very upset she was very rude didn't give me the 10 percent off from the shoes joether 10 from them being dirty she should be fired for how rude she was to me I felt really embarrassed not going there anymore to that location very unprofessional of her
I went to Ross at lakeline austin the cashier & manager were so rude that you don't have receipt we can give store credit we can't look up your credit card when I bought my bottom pant in December for 7.99 $ they said we have holiday extended until January 24th now with tag of 7.99$ they are saying we can give you 49cents how one denim pant will be 49 cents I will make sure nobody in my group will go Ross so cheap people are working. I left store without buying any stuff.
Went to Ross on Slide, picked out a pair of earring's from the case, to my surprise when I returned to work and looked into my bag my earrings were not there, I looked at my receipt and the young lady never ring them up. Easy fix right (Wrong), I call and the earrings are still there, but they will only hold for 30 mins. I am at work which I explain I really want them and I will be there straight from work, can you please hold them for 3 short hours? Ross had a store policy can will only hold them 30 mins, end of story!
Store is a joke. Just wrote to Corporate, although I am not confident anything will change.
Manager is rude, employees are a joke and could not care less. If I acted that way, I would be fired within five minutes.
It is unaccptable.
I was turned down a return at the Ross Dress for Less in mesquite Texas, actually was not even let in the store because it was 5 minutes before closing time. I got off of work and went strait there. I have never been treated so poorly by a manager in my 35 years of life. Swearing at me for trying to walk in. The manager wouldn't even give me her name after the exchange.
I have found some really great bargains at Ross. However, most of the clothing there is yucky. You can see why it ended up in a last-chance retail store. If you're not looking for any specific item, you can do well. However, sometimes you will totally strike out. You never know.
Ross stores please please please stop putting the price sticker on the inside sole of the shoes you sell. It's nearly impossible to peel them off, especially certain material. The adhesive is too strong and starts to peel the material when trying to peel the sticker. That leads to just leaving the sticker in the shoe. No one wants a price sticker inside their shoe while they are wearing them. This has been the problem with several shoes I have purchased and I still can't get them off. This annoyance has stopped me from buying shoes at Ross and to go somewhere else for my shoes. You'd get a 4 star rating from me if you changed your stickers to tags or come up with some other way to eliminate this problem.
There are good bargains to be had at Ross, but the stores are always a mess. I've visited 2 locations and they were both cluttered with no organization. They need to get all this straightened out if want to retain loyal customers.
Every time I go to Ross, I find things for much less! I have two teenage daughters and a 21 year old son. I always fine clothes for them there as well as for myself and my husband. Their shoes are great too. Some a little pricey but most are discounts off designer labels. Their employees are always helpful and friendly. Love shopping there!
Not gonna lie, they have very cute stuff but once you wear it and it hits the washer it just doesn't come out the same. Piling starts to build up and seams start to split. It can go from real cute to real ugly REAL QUICK. The quality is what you're paying for though, most of their clothing is $12 top dollar.
Over the years I found a lot of cool stuff at Ross. But the one deterrent that I hate about it is the freaking security people standing at the front door Really? The other stores I frequent like TJ Maxx and Marshalls do not have security people standing there when you walk in. Those stores seem much more welcoming to me. Ross apparently views every customer as a potential thief. It makes the whole store feel very low class, like you're shopping with a store full of thieves or shoplifters. I do not see that at Macy's or even Kohls. ( I realize they may be around but they're not suited up in a threatening uniform.) Seriously, what's up with that?. It's demeaning to the shoppers.
Sometimes the place looks like a tornado hit it. But I tell you I have found amazing deals there. Designer brands at ridiculously low prices. Sometimes I've even resold them lol. I absolutely love Ross. Way better than TJ Maxx some ursul's, the prices are unbeatable
There is a lot of merchandise in this store that is very unique and can't be found anywhere else. The prices are excellent in most categories, but the store is often picked over, especially around Christmas and with new spring and fall arrivals. However, there are a lot of great buys if you're willing to spend time looking.
Answer: Well as soon as you walk in store they greet you with a smile and a thanks 4 choosing Rosses. I have never had any issues with returns and customer service easy to find and eager to please.
Answer: Legit! I shop there all the time. Its like Burlington coat factory but better prices. Where people with small funds can keep up with today trends designer names without breaking the bank.
Answer: Yes many famous brands all shapes and sizes. From guess to michael kors. And prices for any budget.
