Be cautious. Your purchase may not look like the picture. The picture of the garnet earrings I ordered showed pretty red stones. What I received were earrings with dark, almost black stones. I sent them back at my expense.

After so many decades of ordering precious items from Ross-Simon's I was very surprised to find that you charge fur shipping for exchanges and returns. I'm also a bit surprised of all the lab grown and fake diamonds, sterling silver and gold over sterling. It's difficult to determine what it what when browsing. Everything kind of lumps together. You might have a few special sections where you'd only find 14 k gold and genuine natural diamonds. That way people could see what they're looking for without having to go through so many things they're not interested in.
