I purchased a two-pack of Ring Spotlight Cameras with included solar charging panels on November 20,2020 for my father's 80th birthday. The spotlight cameras were never delivered. I have contacted Ring on three separate occasions so far trying to have cameras sent to me. Because their tracking system simply shows "in-transit, delayed", they simply expect me to wait indefinitely for cameras that they either failed to ship or lost. There tracking clearly shows they were not delivered, however, their dreadful customer service offers no resolution other than to wait indefinitely for the cameras to magically appear.
Expect hour long waits on hold each time you call, and for nothing to be resolved when you have an issue with Ring.com. I will never purchase a product through Ring.com again, and likely will not ever purchase a Ring product again. This is truly the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

These guys have the worst system possible to avoid serving their customers. Their system had a major crash a couple of weeks ago. Since then, the Windows app won't work and when trying to reinstall it, the android and iphone apps linked to my account are all rejecting any login attempt. When you call for help, they ask you to log in and get a unique "PIN" to get help. How stupid is that? Can't log in? Too bad, find a way and get that number. No matter what option you try on their automated call avoidance system, you get this snotty voice sending you in circles. Why did I end up with 15 of those units. May sell them on FB Marketplace as recycling junk. They have grown too big and now dont give a rodent's posterior about customers. They have sufficient revenue to lose anyone who has a problem as more will sign up. Don't bother. Look elsewhere.
Always have trouble connecting to ring and I pay for this service and i have another camera that cheap and not a ring and can always connect and the service is free.
Placed an order online for the Ring Security Floodlight on 11/28/20. I added it to the cart and checked out—no problem. They took my money—no problem. When I called on 12/1/20 to follow up, I was told that it was out of stock and I wouldn't receive it until sometime in January 2021. The system should not even allow an out of stock item to be added to the cart. They refused to cancel my order and refund my money. This is a rip-off, pure and simple. They should be sued and shut down for scamming people out of money.
My order page autocompleted the address field incorrectly, I called to change the address immediately and after 20 minutes on hold was told this had been done. I checked the next morning and the order still showed the wrong address. I was told it was now too late and nothing could be done and that I should have cancelled the order originally although I asked if this was necessary on my original call and was told it was not.
Customer service is a joke, everyone is a foriener that you can barely understand, everthing is an issue called to say cant log in after phone had new screen, they then took 25 mins to eplain what i ahd already told them, then told me had to be indoors to ring the $#*!ing bell, what i two bob compant so mwish hadnt brought the piece of crap
First of all trying to get through to ring escalation team was a nightmare! It took us weeks! YES WEEKS! It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They wanted us to go through the initial setup so many times even though that wasn't the problem. We have been without Ring security for a month now and still the issue is not resolved. There are two people I know going through the issue with their devices. So this isn't an isolated problem. 8 hours of wait time on the phone and that's just one day! Still nothing resolved. Not only is this so annoying but this a HUGE security risk. We are not happy and will be making a complaint to the highest chain!
Ring sells very expensive door locks with electronic key pads that are supposed to operate remotely and/or using the Ring app. Do not buy them. It's a reap off. It's fraud.
The Schlage door lock gets jammed or simply stops responding because, in my case, I moved the ring alarm base and the wifi extender closer to the front door.
The Schlage costumer service simply does not work. I have called on many occasions waiting to be helped and at the end, the call is dropped by Schlage.
I talked today to Ring and they do not have the knowledge to help me with the product. This is the response from a supervisor:

I bought that front door lock unaware of the unprofessional service I would get from Ring. I did not buy from Schlage and nowhere on your page it says you don't provide full service on that product.
I am frustrated with Schlage but now I am more frustrated with you, the Ring team.
You were fast to take my money but not so much to respond to the problems your product presents."
I bought a ring door bell 3rd gen with chime, and for 2 days i have tried to set this crap up and yet nothing works. The door bell/camera says its online yet its not, the chime doesn't stay connected and then you have to reinstall in again and wait for it to update for 15 mins. The app has now decided to not allow me in and the 2 factor authentification codes I'm being sent are invalid, meaning i cannot even chess the app!
Ive spent numerous hours fiddling with my route settings yet nothing, the customer services number is dead, no way of getting support, avoid this hype like the plague
For £130 I've had more hassle than i bargained for. I would have had more fun burning the money than forking out for this crap
My advice is look at the cheaper versions if this type of platform, my neighbour has one he paid £40 for, does the exact same thing has it hard wired and has a memory card in to capture to video, so no additional costs. He spend 5 mins seeing it up and hey presto works no issues.
Now to try and get my money back...

If you purchase any Ring product be prepared for NO Customer Service. We had a Ring video doorbell and HD Security Camera installed years ago. The Security Camera archived videos. I removed it for 24 hours when I painted the front of our house. That ended archived video capability. I sent three inquiries to Ring through their agent PissedConsumer.com in May and July. They confirmed my messages had been delivered to Ring. Ring ignored them.

Horrible company I am so upset that I have bought anything from them I have paid for the ring protect program and went to Cameras went out it took five hours and multiple calls to finally get someone to verify that my ring protect program was in fact in good status I was told I would have the cameras within two days it is now five days later and I have spent five hours with multiple supposed supervisors telling me that they would be sending out cameras yet they provide no tracking number no information and every day I find out that they lie repeatedly and the cameras still have not been sent this is a horrible company with horrible customer service when I asked a supervisor by the name of Luis who can I speak to to expedite this I am frustrated and disgusted he told me that there was nothing can be done and they'll get to the order when they can this is unacceptable I would think twice before ever doing business with this company
They told me my "free' trial was over. I them paid the subscription and they reset everything and my password no longer worked and when I tried to set up a new one it won't do it. I called support... I could only understand every third word this guy said. WHY DID YOU RESET EVERYTHING! It was working fine. I may send this thing back and try another product.
We decided to order three extra batteries for our three wireless Ring security cameras since we didn't want to forego coverage while the batteries recharge for several hours. When the package arrived, it had only one of the 3 batteries we paid for. We called Customer Service, where an agent demanded that we send a photograph of the opened box with only one battery. He agreed to send the remaining two. Fifteen days later, a second package arrived... it had only 1 battery! A call to Customer Service has not been returned! Terrible company.
Ring Door bell worked. Quite well until we said we are not going to pay 3 pounds/month then they must have flicked a switch. After 2-3 months it stopped working battery life of 2 weeks even adjusting to the minimum setting.
My ring doorbell stopped working after owning it less than 2 years. I went through a lot of trouble shooting on the phone with a ring doorbell technician. He came to the conclusion that it's broken. So, the option he gave me was to buy another one?!? He will give me a 30% discount. Why would anyone buy another device that may break so that they'd have to purchase yet another? I'm guessing not too many people take that offer. Very disappointed that the company doesn't stand behind it's product. I'll be buying a different brand for my next doorbell.
Piece of crap! Every time something actually happens, the screen is black! For Halloween, we put out a bowl of candy by our front door with our porch light on and a paper taped to the door that said Take 1 Happy Halloween! When I got to the door all the candy in the bowl was gone! I watched the video that it recorded and the screen just stayed black! My sons scooter was also stolen from our front yard while having the ring doorbell and the screen was black that time too! There are more videos that are black than videos that actually recorded what was going on! We've called customer service to help and it still does it. The doorbell is fairly close to our WiFi router. And we rarely have problems with our internet. I hate this door bell, I hope my review will help others realize that this was a horrible product before making the mistake of purchasing it, like I did!

But in the end you will be back to square one with a pricey piece of crap! Then after hrs of listening to customer services b. S. you realize you've been had. But it doesn't end there. You end up on sites like this trying to help others from making the same mistake. And trying to figure out when this hell will end!
