I purchased the Professional package because of the interview guarantee. I am astonished at how ugly the resume formats are, how the resume writers do not write concisely, are not putting information that is in drafts sent back and forth, and most of all they are not tailored to the user. I received a cover letter that is almost exactly what I typed into ChatGPT to generate my own first draft before purchasing the service. My first resume writer basically copied my LinkedIn into my resume and put a resume for my resume at the top with a ridiculous amount of buzzwords. I took way longer editing their drafts than just improving my resume draft. I complained how I got negative feedback from my trusted circle on the draft so I got a new resume writer. The second writer basically did the same thing -- a little more concisely, but looked like they got the template out of the 90's. I am surprised that they are committing resume mistakes that are like 101 level, for example, they didn't include months in the dates of employment, they used a header that the ATS picked up as a new job. I am complaining to my credit card company to see if they can refund me this service so I can hire a career coach instead.
I found their tips for my LinkedIn helpful because my LinkedIn looks A BIT more professional, but haven't seen any fruitful results from recruiters yet.
I'm 60 and I thought I'd retire from my last company. My job was eliminated on February 1st. Twenty years later, I'm back in the job market, but it was a shocker. I had no clue what to do and how to do it. If I was to have a fighting chance, I needed to start with a compelling resume. Susan came to my rescue.
What did I want to do? I never really thought about it. First I had to fill out a questionnaire, including links to my "dream" jobs. Then I had to send a copy of my resume. A girl/old bat can dream, but could Susan make me shine? Yes, she did.
Everything happens for a reason. I wasn't happy at my old job, so this was a blessing in disguise. I have no idea where I'll land next but thanks to Susan, I'll land on my feet.
My antiquated resume was transformed into a stunning, contemporary document by Resumeble, which numerous employers have praised during in-person interviews. Plus, I received a job offer, so it was totally worthwhile.
I used their free assessment and then completed my order. Every step of the process was easy to follow and error-free. My resume looks so much better and is no longer cluttered.
I was then matched with Susan, a writer. Even though I can see that she has already received a lot of great feedback, I still want to add mine. When it comes to the caliber of the service and her methodology, she really is the finest. I received four call-backs after submitting my findings to five positions. Considering how little success I had with my first résumé, I am amazed. I'm now praying for a flawless interview, hehe.
Fantastic update from my previous CV. These people are genuinely skilled at what they do. I received compliments from multiple recruiters on my updated resume because it is so well-written. Well done on the LinkedIn review as well.
Michael was my writer, and it was a pleasure working with him. He was quick, focused, and did a great job of portraying my accomplishments. Ask Michael to work on your resume if you want it done right. He is the finest. Regards, Mike!
After using their complimentary evaluation, I placed my order. Every stage of the procedure was simple and problem-free. My resume is now clutter-free and looks so much better.
Even before I placed the order, they were really accommodating. Jake, their customer service representative, is really helpful and managed to address all of my inquiries before to placing my order, I must say. My updated résumé is excellent.
My writer was great and really on point. His suggestions made my resume pop. Thank you, resumeble! Fully happy.
Their analysis is an amazing service and provided lots of useful information on how to improve my resume and what was lacking in it.
I was let go and was struggling to get back on the market. A friend recommended resumeble as they used it before and I went for it. Great service, and my resume looks so refreshed! I also have a few interviews lined up.
Loved the service. If you are not sure how to best sell your skills it's a very good decision to hire a professional. They undersyand everything about modern hiring process and crafted an ATS-optimized resume that landed me the job.
I reached out to several resume companies while shopping around, and Resumeble was the only one who gave me an actual call back. They were always ready to help, answered all the questions, and the resume turned out great. Ask for Joan, she's really professional.
My experience with Mike at Resumeble was great. He was fantastic and really was a pleasure to work with. He worked hard on crafting a fantastic resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile for me. He was professional, dedicated and his customer service was exceptional. I would highly recommend him and Resumeble for your resume needs.
I checked out many similar services, while others gave better free feedback on my initial resume, their turnaround time was too quick over a holiday weekend made me think AI and offshore. Resumable responded more like I expected during holiday times, so I went with them as one of the mid-priced companies.
The process was easy and doing the necessary ruthless cutting down to fit onto 2 pages was super helpful, I have over 25 years of work experience and wasn't sure how to tell the full story and where to cut.
It was very important to read and revise, they will not necessarily know which accomplishments are more impactful, so just swap one for one and use the sentence structure and you are good. Some of the wording is a little repetitive and the writer won't necessarily under stand industry specific jargon. Just edit to suit. If an accomplishment is worded in a way or with words you couldn't explain completely, change it.
The website states you will have a phone call with the writer to understand your objectives, doesn't seem like that ever happens based on the other reviews. I don't think that is too important since you get unlimited revisions and the writers seem to pick up quickly.
The cover letter and other responses are copied form letters that you will find word-for-word on-line. Not necessarily a problem, unless one of the other applicants used the same service. One sentence was uniquely written for me. I used that sentence and the format to merge with the content from a letter I wrote.
I appreciated the linked in re-write and help with choosing the right skills. I had the max 50, all with endorsements, so cutting some, adding others, and re-ordering helps to get noticed.
Overall, the time spent by the writer through 5 rounds of revision seems a good value for the money and I ended up with a good resume that presents me very well.
My wife purchased a Resumeble package for me as a Father's Day gift. I was in desperate need of a workplace change and she knew this would push me to begin the process. I worked with my writer, Susan, over the course of a couple weeks, tweaking and refining my resume (which was very outdated). She was entirely open to any feedback I offered and worked quickly each time I requested changes. Even when I didn't know exactly how to word what I was trying to say, she updated my resume to highlight my strengths and accomplishments. The package also included a LinkedIn update which was very valuable, as I had no previous experience using LinkedIn for job seeking. Within just a few days, I was receiving messages from recruiters, and within a few weeks had interviews lined up at two companies. Ultimately, I received a wonderful offer from my new employer. Thank you, Susan, and Resumeble for helping make this possible!
Paid $250 for the package that includes an interview guarantee and it's a total joke. Your writer won't talk to you or ask you questions in order to help write a good resume. The first resume they wrote for me was so chaotic and repetitive. I used it to apply for over 100 jobs and only received rejections, one company actually reached out to me and told me while my background seemed interesting I needed to rewrite my resume.
I reached out to Resumeble and got a new writer. The first copy of my resume from this writer is also a joke: poor English, deleted job history, job timelines that don't make sense, chaotic again. I do hiring as part of my job and I would never want to receive or read a resume that looks like this.
If you actually want to get hired for a new job find a different company to help with your resume.
Great work and got my product back to me very fast. I was very impressed with the quality and I am eager to see how the resume is received
