Thought I was on the Ramada site - thanks Google for putting these criminals on the top of my search - selected my one night stay. Get my confirmation - they billed me for 10 days at $848. Called to cancel and was told there's a $70 fee to cancel. This is on Google allowing them to look like the corporate site and putting this scam of a website on top of their search results.
The website took two rooms for one-night instead if one room for 2 nights, I think they do that on purpose to cheat you, i called right away the promised to correct then 5 days later said no we can only give you one room back this is after their supervisor Mark promised a cancelation because of the error, I will be disputing. I am also going to see what local laws can address and i called the FTC, and they are to call me back. Total scam. Promised refund and cancelation I even offered $25.00 as a inconvenience and they said oh no don't worry.
Pre charged for two nights at upscale hotel. Thought I was booking direct. Flight cancellation led to a one day change was charged by site contrary to hotel policy for night I did not check in. Never use!
Reserved a hotel was told tge amount of charge and on the credit card showed twice extra 27 dollars charge. After calling tgey told me that there was a service charge of 27 dollars and that was not refundable. We got into an argument and finally both 27 dollar charge would be refunded within 7 days. Carefull this people are fraudulent with bad intentions.
Hi I had made a reservation and had to cancel it as i ended up in hospital called them and had been on the phone all day when I got really angry because they couldn't give me a straight answer to where my money is coming back or not I had ended up having no confirmation number as my computer Froze on me so today they couldn't find my email address as I had already given them it
They tried to add a booking fee when I booked on the hotel's own website, with no mention of reservations.com. Sneaky operation.
Harold pretended to be American Airlines. Promised a refund he never processed and charged egregious fees (50% of the ticket price). BUYER BEWARE. This company isn't even a travel agency--they book the tickets like any consumer would.
This is a scam. DO NOT USE!Had a family emergency and they wouldn't refund my money. Stay as far away from this site as you can! I will never use this site again! Going to report it to the BBB! For lack of a better word F… this site. I think it's over seas.
Reservations.com "Customer Care" is refusing to refund the double-charge even after I submitted a dispute. Navajoland Hotel should be advised to discontinue using Reservations.com because their customers will be double charged and will not be refunded.
I booked a two night stay with this company for a hotel room. The hotel room was dirty and ac was not working. So I called the company to get my money back for the second night. I called around 7 am in the morning giving them plenty of notice. They said I had to check out and get manager approval before I could get my money back. I did all of that then there next excuses was that they could not reach the hotel for confirmation. I said fun because the hotel responded right away when I asked. Then I talked to the manger he said it would be 7 days to maybe get my money back no promises. I have not heard anything back from them yet. The hotel room was suppose to be $79.00 a night my credit card was charge two charges it end up being over $100 each night. This hotel was not even worth $50 let alone $100. I do not have a problem with the hotel manger this is clearly reservation.com management problems. I will tell everyone I know never to use their site very unprofessional and frauds.
I was trying to book a room at the Watermark Hotel in Osoyoos BC, Canada for a 3 day stay. I had thought that I called the actual hotel however Reservations.com was on the top of the website for Watermark indicating it was the in-house reservations for the Hotel. They quoted me a rate of $1128 for three nights. No mention of a cancellation policy however I knew that Watermark had a one week prior to reservation of a full refund.
When I looked at my Visa account, it showed $1574 charged. I immediately called and the clerk indicated that they were quoting in US dollars? This is a Canadian hotel, I live in Canada and I paid through a Canadian Visa account. I then said that I want to cancel the reservation to this company and they stated that they would provide a full refund of which I taped the conversation.
Also, when later reviewing my confirmation, in fine print it indicated that there was a once day cancellation penalty. I then called the hotel directly and they said that there policy is a full refund. I then went on the Expedia website and booked the same three nights for $1234 with free 100% cancellation one week prior to the reservation.
I now looked at my Visa statement and Reservations.com only refunded $793 vs my payment to them of $1574. $781 penalty for one night when the first night was approximately $400 including taxes?
Please stay away from Reservation.com. I see now that they only have a 1 star rating. I believe that is only because you do not have a zero star.
I tried to book 2 rooms, one a studio, and the second was going to be a 2 bedroom suite.
reservations.com let me enter "2" for the number of rooms I would like to reserve in Palm Springs, CA.
A Normal website would let you choose one room, then a second room which may or not be the Exact same room as the first selection.
After I chose the first room it asked for the names of the guests, I entered who would be staying there and clicked the link at the bottom.
I was Shocked that it booked 2 studios and I called reservations.com immediately to let them know how their website did not let me pick a different room type. I was told they could not cancel it. I understand the policy but I should not be responsible for a charge because of a poor website design.
I really didn't want my money back. I just wanted to pay More and make one of the rooms a 2 bedroom suite.
I was told on the phone I need to book the two rooms separately, then why would you have a drop down to select the number of rooms with no disclaimer warning that they would ALL have to be the same.
I am obviously not cancelling because I don't want to stay there, I tried cancelling because their website does not follow best practice guidelines for website design.
I had have to rebook the rooms again - Using a different site.
They said they would open a case after I talked to a manager and after a week they said there was Nothing they could do. I got stuck paying an extra $600 for my stay
Made a reservation for a hotel for a work trip I went on. Long story short, was I booked for 28 days, used 15 and didn't use 13. Will not refund any unused days. They will keep the money. You're better off calling the hotel directly and not use this outfit.
No refund policy? A hidden 19.99 service fee for their customer service? Telling you they cancel a reservation, but you arrive and find it still there? Need I go on? Run away from these people as fast as you can. A true, honest scam.
I stayed at Holiday inn express near sea world on international dr in orlando fl from jul3-8. The frst room the door lock was broken, the toilet didnt flush. And then when housekeeping came, there was blood stained sheets and the floor was nasty. I had to pour water into tank to get toilet to flush. They switched my room and a man used the key to come into my room at midnight. They offered me a another night stay, but i wanted some of my money back. I booked through reserving. Com. I was in talk with them and haven't heard anything else from them. While at the hotel i reached out to richard bolum, gm, and he never replyed. Blood stains on the sheets. Nasty.
Make sure you know you have contacted them when calling online reservations and don't reserve!
Cancelled within ten minutes for to error.still kept 19.99 as they are not reputable.
Very
I WILL NEVER BOOK THROUGH THIS AGAIN! Complete Scam. They say their customer service is their top priority...lies. They are of zero help when you try to call. Spoke to the manager named Paige and she was so rude and not helpful at all. I am going through a rough time with planning my wedding and she provided zero help and said there is nothing she can do. Then proceeded to ask if there was anything else she could help me with...she didn't help me in the first place! RECOMMEND NOT USING!
Tried to cancel within minutes of making the reservation. They would not refund charges. The reservation was for 7 days in the future. I recommend NO ONE use this booking site EVER.
They somehow get their site to show up as first option in a search. Then, they do not make the customer aware of very non-refundable and unchangeable reservation conditions until AFTER the confirmation email is sent. At that point, it's too late. My client is arriving a day early and I cannot change alter the reservation without paying the full rate PLUS $19.99. I will try to report to the BBB. This site should not be allowed to operate.
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
