Omg! Horrible Customer Service. I've tried for over a week to messaged them about something URGENT and they never responded. I sent them multiple emails and found their phone number on Google, but of course when you call it's a recording saying "they don't offer customer service support via phone and to email them." It should have said they don't offer customer service at all! I also contacted them on Facebook since i notice they were active and they deleted my comments. I messaged them on instagram as well and nothing. They don't care at all to help you. I have also recruited many friends and helped their business grow and they can't even provide me with help?! I got f***** over by them very badly. I'm so upset and angry.
Placed my first order for a pair of Frye flats. First order shipping was supposed to be. 99 cents. Seller accepted my offer, sent the shoes, they are great! But in my several emails to Poshmark my account has still not been credited. Now I just sent them another one stating there was a problem with the order, now they think I want to return it! Are you kidding me? I have been going back and forth for days! Does anyone there even read the emails sent? I know it's only 5.42 but it is the principal of the matter at this point! I hate to hold up the seller's payment, I guess that's how they operate, but I can't even contact her to tell her why! I just now tried to look her up by the return address on my mailing label. Who shops here?
Horrible app and 0 customer support! They now have some kind of system that checks for items that are fake duplicates of brands which obviously does Not work! So the system picked my item randomly and they locked my account... I wrote customer servers but they said they can not do anything at this point. I have been using this app for over 2 years and never saw this crazy thing before! I will NEVER use this horrible app before-- what a waist of my time listing all the products and writing description...
I am a Poshmark Buyer & Seller. I've had great transactions every time. After reading all the negative reviews regarding disappointed buyers, I decided to post my review. In order to buy online, you must make sure you know your measurements very well and read listings all the way through. Not all size XL's or size 12's are the same. Also when purchasing shoes, ask the seller for the measurements! Length & width, request pictures of the item with the ruler verifying the measurement. All of my listings include measurements and pictures. As a seller, I am more than happy to answer any questions and I also ask sellers questions to ensure that I am happy with my purchase. If the seller is not responsive, it is best to move on. There are a lot of reputable sellers and there are a lot of scam sellers. Please protect yourself when purchasing from any online site. Hope this helps someone. I know it can be frustrating to receive an item that you can not use and enjoy
I've been on Poshmark for almost a month and I love buying and selling. Just be cautious on who you sell to and do some research on their page before you buy or sell. I've only had one problem with a buyer. I sold a Columbia jacket but didn't say it was fleece and when they received it they gave me one star and said the item was not as described. I also accidentally switched labels for shipment and Poshmark handled it completely! I didn't have to worry about it :)
I've been on poshmark for about three months as a seller and i've had no problems with it at all. I have bought three items in total and none of them were described properly but i was still somewhat satisfied with them and didn't return any of them. I've sold over 50 items with no issues. The only complaints i have are the 20% commission and the buyers who bundle items but never buy them because they are annoying and bring my hopes up only to kill them. I do enjoy participating in posh parties and being an active part of the community, which greatly ups your experience with the app.
Purchased three items outside the app thru internet search and paid thru PayPal. Received items that were defective or not as described. Contacted Poshmark next day and they requested additional information. Heard nothing back from them for a week and then to say it was outside the three say window and seller had been paid. I am contacting PayPal. Buy from another site!
I have some money to receive from selling something with them but I cannot access the email where supposedly they sent me a code in order to set it up. So now I am stuck with this situation. I have emailed them 3 times and no response so far... How can a company like this not have a phone number for customer support?
Purchased a modem from a Poshmark seller. Modem arrived but didn't work. Took me several days to get a Comcast technician on-site to essentially verify it didn't work. I'd been trying with their phone CS people but it was escalated to an onsite visit. Ultimately they told me it was defective. Turns out Poshmark has some ridiculous 3 day limit to tell them that there was a problem with the item purchased. So the seller ignored my notes (and blocked me from sending him/her anymore) and Poshmark simply told me of the 3 day limit on problems. Compare this experience to even Ebay, night and day in favor of Ebay. Please do yourself a favor and don't even bother looking at Poshmark.
This site is very unfair to sellers - they take a huge percentage and buyers can return items no matter what the reason. Had someone buy a suit from me and then return it as not being accurate according to the listing when she admitted in a message to me that she had ordered the suit by mistake - totally unfair! There are much better sites out there - stay away!
This is such a dysfunctional and unorganized site. They do not keep any control over their sellers. I ordered an item that never shipped even though I tried contacting the seller several times. She had many excuses, and said the item would ship "the next day" but never did. They do not have a way to rate the sellers so you never know if you are dealing with a good seller. Stick to ebay! This site sucks!
My second sale on site was a Dooney Bag for $300. Used 1 time, perfect condition! Smelled like a high end Leather bag, and buyer had a case of buyer's remorse and asked me to cancel the sale. I did not.shipped the bag and upon delivery the buyer opened a case and claimed she had a severe allergic reaction to a dryer sheet smell! She demanded a return and refund. I had all the photos and messages to show a bad faith purchase, but they sided with buyer! I have sold other high end leather bags on other popular sites, and always got 5 stars for sales! I immediately pulled all my bags and collectibles from the site and closed my "shop". Too many loopholes that are very biased against sellers. Beware!
I shop on Poshmark often, sometimes i find really cute items. Only thing however is I don't like how high the shipping is. Right now it is like at $6 something close to $7, when I first used the site it was around $4 something. Honestly I wish they would lower the shipping price because it adds up on the item price. I've had some bad sellers that never shipped the items out and posh refunded my money. So Pros: cute items, photos, you can talk to the sellers, you can view on a computer or through the phone app, submit offers etc. You can even sell your own stuff. Cons: high shipping, sometimes sellers don't have the item you purchase or the seller does not respond to your message on the item you bought. But aside from that as needed I still go on the site to look for items at times. I only gave it 3 stars only due to the Cons I had listed but overall good site concept.
I ordered an expensive designer dress that came in a small bag looking like a wrinkled handkerchief. Also it was doused in perfume I believe to hide that it was worn. When I tried to return it I got the runaround, fifty questions and demands for pictures. Then denied a chance to return and refund. Terrible service, terrible website. I will never buy from it again.
I started being a "Posher" about a month ago, in the beginning everything was good, I bought really nice things, and sellers were really kind and professional, but last week, 2/24/17, I was looking to my bank account statement when I realized that Poshmark had make a funds transaction without my consent in the amount of $106.49! Supposedly it was the payment for an item that I did not received until this week! Now the seller is waiting for me to accept the order, so the funds can be released to her account, and I know that does mater if I do not accept the order, poshmark's people is gonna to take my money, TWICE! So I will be paying $213
In the end! I tried to call them, sent an email, but so far no answer!
I am cancelling my account with them and going tomorrow to my bank to cancel my debit card, and all the payments that Poshmark would try to process!
Stay away from them!
I have bought from multiple sellers, and I have only had one case of a bad-faith seller in that they were out to scam the buyer. Most sellers are selling clothes to make a small profit since Poshmark has a considerable commission off each sale. I advise someone who is a new posher to have a conversation with the seller under the public listing if you are unsure about the purchase. Make the seller state if there are any stains, defects, or sizing abnormalities.
The bad seller I did have an issue with listed a child-sized skirt under a woman's sizing. Poshmark sided with them after five days of review, so there is no safety net for buyers duped into buying children's clothes the seller listed under adult sizing. This is absurd as I uploaded a screenshot of the brand's size chart, but it was filed under a "fit" issue. No adult woman is going to fit into a small child's skirt.
I bought a pair of vintage Kate Spade glasses that came with a KS green case... I paid full price 40$, it was accepted. I check back after about a week and it did indeed say that is was sold... It is still shown on her site as sold... I got a note from you a week ago that it is showing that she has not sent it yet. She was out of the country until end of Sept. Please update me,,, I am waiting on them so I can get new glasses made in my prescription... thank you very much, Katie
Well, still haven't gotten any of the items I bought... They brag about their "2 day shipping" and even charge you extra for it, but their incompetent sellers take on average of a month to ship, so what's the point? If I wanted to wait that long I would order something from Australia! Sellers are rude and unresponsive to messages. Several times I asked where my item was and then got IMMEDIATELY got blocked. Support center is non existent... Don't waste your money or your time :/
I purchased many items and sellers just cancel you. Serendipity chic sold me 3 items and then just cancelled after I made offer and she accepted it. I am tired of sellers doing this or not shipping. Poshmark lets these people stay on there. I sold something and it was a set up and then someone gave me their email to do business off posh. Poshmark let them stay on. The workers at poshmark and owners are money hungry. You can even speak to someone.
I purchased an item from this company; it said the black portion was slightly faded; when I received the item, it was bent, damaged & all the colors were very severely faded; I reported this to Poshmark immediately & told them I thought their description of the item was incorrect; they refused to let me return the item or refund me my money. II will never buy anything from this company again! They've permanently lost me as a customer!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
