Took forever

This says purchase date of January 2023. However, I ordered this at least eight months ago. Just crazy it took so long for this small item to arrive. I will not use this company for any future orders.

As indicated in the first email issued on May 20th, 2022, this Mercury oil filter wrench was on backorder. We also sent you an email once or twice a month advising you that mercury had pushed back the estimated availability date giving you the option to wait or cancel the order. Luckily the item just arrived and we had it shipped out to you the same day. With backorder OEM parts, since they are the sole manufacturer we are completely at their mercy. We again apologize for the inconvenience and delay. We are glad to hear the item finally arrived as intended. Thank you again for your review!

Slow Service

The website is very good easy to navigate. The issue is the parts say in stock but are not. I'm still waiting for a fuel filter I ordered over a month ago that was in stock on the website. The rest of my order said ships in 7-10 days, good luck it was more like 3.5 weeks. I will not be a customer in the future. Better off purchasing elsewhere.

Great on-line store. Very much trying to support family businesses and not Jeff Bezos. But the lack of being able to have info on the where a bouts of when I would receive order was frustrating. Also tried numerous attempts to call customer service with never an answer.

Their part was missing information online so I ordered the wrong part initially it didn't say left or right turning prop. And the return process is clunky and very strict. I will not be ordering anything else as I believe this to be a dropshipper who isn't interested in customer service.

Missing parts
May 19, 2022

Item was shipped with only some of the items and circled parts on the packing slip saying back ordered by over a month. There was no email, no call, no notice. Now I am waiting on parts ordered from another place while this boat should be on the road. Customer service is unreachable. I'll happily pay more to go to a store that ACTUALLY has the part in stock as indicated. Wouldn't do it. I will edit this if I can reach customer service.

It took seven business days for my package to go from Naples to Tampa.

There was no tracking information, the tracking number led to no information. I had to call numerous times. I cannot schedule jobs this way waiting for parts. Unfortunately your site will not be my primary source for parts.

It took 12 days to arrive

It took 12 days to arrive. The box was damaged, but the product was not.
The USPS tracking kept telling me i5 was going to arrive and it didn't. Then at one time it told me the package had arrived at their facility in Oklahoma City. I don't get it, when it was coming from Naples FL goin to Louisville, KY.
I'd use a different shipper if I were you

We have no control over the transit time, It is usually fairly quick to your location but we can not be sure as to what the delay was as there could be many factors. In order for us to keep our shipping rates low, we do use multiple carriers including UPS. If at any time a customer has a preference all they have to do is reach out to us via email or phone and at no extra cost to the customer, we can ship it via the carrier they prefer. I called and explained that the parts I received were not red in color but more pink then red in color, customer service () had my order number and my phone number (as well as all of my other information) the call was disconnected and I never heard back from you!

When I the ordered a product it didn't mention it was on the back order and we have to wait for a couple of months and also when we received the product it was looks like been repaired not brand-new waiting for a response from the company.

In every confirmation email it states that should your item be back-ordered we will email you as soon as possible. The reason for the email is to advise the customer of the expected availability date and to give them the option to cancel should they not want to wait. You placed your order late and the following morning we sent the email advising you that your item was on backorder, and included the date. The part was specially ordered from Yamaha, and according to your pictures arrived defective. We do sincerely apologize for that inconvenience. We do not sell items rebuilt or refurbished. I see an agent offered to reorder the part, but it is still on backorder. You have been sent a prepaid return label in order to get that back for a full refund. Merc shift throttle cables

I ordered shift / throttle cables for my pontoon boat. They arrived on time only to find out I had ordered the wrong ones. I called partsvu, they explained their return policy. I returned the cables and they refunded my payment. Thanks Partsvu.

Great pricing speedy delivery
April 14, 2022

Ordered a 100 hours service kit Saturday evening and it was delivered the following Wednesday. Saved 40% in the parts and oils compared to my local Mercury dealers. I will be ordering from them again and have told all my boating friends about there pricing.

Update to below review: A very kind person from Customer service phoned me and apologized for the inaccurate information provided previously. She graciously offered to waive the shipping fee and expedite the delivery of the product. I was quite impressed by the company's response and by the fact that they actually pay attention to what is said in the reviews and strive to make it right. I look forward to ordering from them in the future.

"The rep I spoke to on the phone said you don't have cowling covers for Yamaha 2 stroke 200 hp engines. I went back to the website to double check and found the one I'm buying. Your reps should be better informed or make the effort to check."

Fast Service

Item arrived in excellent condition and as described. The price was the best I have found.

FedEx didn't do so well. It sat in one location, 30 miles from my residence for 5 days. After two discussions with their customer service department, they finally put it on a truck and delivered it. This was not any fault of Parts Vu. I would have no problems dealing with them in the future.

Friends,,,you also need another cable from engine interface cable to engine with the right plug for the engine,,,starting at your backbone,,,they call it a adapter cable,,,I missed this part so I am not connected, yet,,,do your homework double time.

Please change parts list to match the proper impeller for 2019 Yamaha T- 25. I ordered wrong one last year and if i didn't question it this year would have gotten wrong one again. They ask for the serial number of engine not the model number if you call. Haven't put it in yet so i wont put 5 stars up until i know its right.
