The delivery took a lot longer than expected. It was supposed to be delivered within a few days but was delivered more than a week (~10 days) later. Considering the part could easily have been put in an envelope and been delivered at the same time as a regular letter, the delay seemed excessive.
The parts were two tiny little wires about 12cm long.
Your website didn't say the gauge I ordered was back ordered until March. Should have noted it was out of stock. You should have waited to charge me for it until it was shipped.
This is the first issue I've had with you. My other 2 or 3 orders have been great.
Purchased a Yamaha single key ignition assembly to replace the original part in my 2004 Yamaha F-115. I received the part quickly and it was an easy plug and play switch out. Took maybe 20 minutes. The choke, ignition, and kill switch work perfectly.
Everything I ordered showed up quickly and the prices compared to the local Yamaha dealer were very reasonable. Also the availability of the parts was surprising. I was being told most are back ordered with no promise date.
The spark plugs were delivered but the service manual I ordered (website did not state it was out of stock,) was not delivered. There was a message that it should be delivered by late May... about 3 months after order date.

I typically wait until the last minute to place orders and it is sometimes too late. But thanks to PartsVu's fast shipping my service kit arrived just in time and I could service my outboard right before a trip.
The parts view staff has kept me up to date with my orders and if an item is backordered or not available they are quick to respond. I receive my orders promptly and they have most items in stock. As a small service business they keep up and running.
We looked up the part we needed and ordered it. The price was fair and we can't believe it only took 15 minutes to change the dealership said it would be a few hours at $100.00 a hr and the parts were going to be $90.00. A bit frustrated because I was not aware that the propeller did nor include the hub assembly. When selecting the prop I gave all information related to my motor to ensure proper fit but nothing stated the hub was separate
One order delivery confirmation was counted twice so second part of order wasn't included, (fuel filter and 2 seals).
But an email to Nina resulted in a very quick remedy and delivery of the two minor parts. Thanks Nina and the rest of crew. You all are great!
It was the correct part. I felt that the price was inflated compared to other years of manufacture. I ship items several items a week and that with this personal experience the shipping cost was twice the t he amount than it should have been
Parts look good. Some gaskets where not in OEM packaging and cotter pins nearly fell out of the box. But overall pretty good service. My main issue was that they sent me an email stating they ship same day if ordered before 11 am. I ordered on Tue after 5pm and expected the order to go out the next day. It did not depart until Friday night. When contacted PartsVu said their standard of shipping is "24 to 48 business hours". That is the weirdest unit of measure used for shipping. I have no idea how many business hours are in a work day in their case. Also not really clear what is in stock when you order.
Order arrived on time. Never have had any issues with PartsVu. Shipping price was reasonable. I would like to see PartsVu website show inventory levels of their parts. This can avoid ordering out of stock items and having to check (by phone or email) to see if any of your parts are going to be delayed. Showing "In Stock" quantities (ships within 24 hours), ships in 2-4 days (obtained from an outside warehouse), and "factory backorder-expected delivery in xx days" can be very helpful.
Placed an order based on the description, and the provided photos. The part came in but was wrong. Refund request was made, however they deducted the amount of the shipping, and I had to pay to return the parts that their description of is incorrect. Not Happy!
I'm not complaining, but am mildly disappointed that you all are still substituting a Sierra fuel/water separator in the kit for the Yamaha part number when you are selling the Yamaha part as an individual for sale item. That is the only reason for 4 stars above.
Very helpful and convenient service. I ordered a 100 hour service kit and it got to my house quick. I was missing a bottle of gear oil and contacted the company. They sent me my gear oil without any hesitation. I would recommend Parts Vu to anyone.

Emailed about a service manual for a Mercury outboard. Was told the serial number was needed. Replied back with SN and was given the correct part number for my engine. Very fast responses, and was able to get me exactly what I needed. Thanks!
My experiences with PartsVu have always been fine. I usually receive my order in about a week. If a part is on back order, I will receive an email of the availability date. Customer service has always been helpful when ordering outboard motor parts.
