Just like everyone else, we used to be able to count on Nordstrom for almost anything. I am unsure what processes have changed but as a loyal customer, I can tell a huge difference. I have had now 3+ online purchased that show "SHIPPED" and have not shipped and given to the carriers. The best suggestion that the Nordstrom employees tell me is to wait a week and if the item doesnt show up, we will refund. It's dissapointing as some of these purchases are suppossed to be gifts or would like to recieve when the items says it will be delivered. Nordstrom is slowly losing my business due to there online purchases challenges and have become unreliable.
Nordstrom sold me an open and used product by 92$. I trust them because they the only one who sold Shiseido foundation, They did not want to compensate me or return my money back!
Ordered balenciaga track sneakers paid 1,062. For them rushed shipped them for my vacation and never received my order. They stated my package was delivered to the address on file. I live in an apartment complex 50 apts. I have a camera in front of my apt door I told them I can send them the recording of that day no package was delivered to me. When I called them they told me wait 24 hrs because sometimes FedEx Will scam your package and not deliver same day. And still I haven't received anything. They won't even tell me where exactly the delivery person put the package. They claim they thoroughly did and investigation. & I can't get a refund or replacement it doesn't make any since. I thought the package would have requested a signature due to the cost of the item. I believe my package was left outside of my apartment complex not my apt door. People walk in and out and it could of possibly been stolen. I really feel this isn't fair I will never spend my hard earned money at this establishment again!
I am very disappointed that you have dropped the Ivanka Trump line of shoes etc. I have been in the retail business for over 40 years and never have I heard of dropping a line and making it a public display. Shame on you for bringing politics to into play.
We have always shopped in your fine store but no more. You were small to make such a decision and it does not complement you past reputation. So Long!

After searching for a watch for my daughters birthday present, I found the perfect watch on Nordstromrack.com. I was super excited until to my surprise they shipped the wrong watch. After many phone calls and hours (seriously) hours on hold I was told that the watch I wanted was sold out. It wasn't until I went to social media that I was able to reach a manager. The manager said that they found the watch and they were going to send it right away. Three days after the day that they said it was going g to be delivered, I got a pair of size 12 men's shoes instead of the watch. Total joke of a company! First time shopping with them and for sure my last.
Very disappointed at the slow speed of order fulfillment. It takes 1-3 days AFTER the order is placed to ship, and then the only shipping delivery option is UPS Ground - which takes another week, which is surprising, since I live in the Chicago area which should be a major hub from CA. I'll continue to shop with them because of the deals but it doesn't make me any less disappointed in the slow turnaround.
I literally ordered something for the first time and I thought i would continue to shop at nordstroom. But this will be my last time because i never received my order even though i was told it had been shipped and delivered. This really sucks because I really needed what i ordered urgently and i was leaving the country so i couldn't re order it and get it anytime soon

I received a pair of Frye boots for Christmas from my father but they were too small. I sent them back with return slip filled out asking for a gift card in exchange for the boots. Instead, they refunded my father. After I reached out to Customer Care they told me they could get the funds back out of his account if my father gave them permission, which he did. They then tell me that they were unable to do so and suggested I ask my father to purchase a gift card online for $417. HOW AWKWARD! If they would have followed direction of the return slip non of this would have happened! NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!
I'll never shop with Nordstrom again. They charged me $400 for an order that was $200. When I called their customer service to find out why I was being charged twice they couldn't find my order. They charged me first $219 for my order then $179 for the same order finishing off with a finally charge of $40. I have to go through my bank to dispute the charges to get my money back. DONT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY. Unless you like attitude from customer service and paying twice for things.
I've always thought Nordstrom had excellent customer service; however, my recent experiences have been awful. In the past week, I have placed 6 different orders and 4 of those orders were cancelled due to a problem fulfilling. When I placed 2 of the orders, the item said "few left" and it looked like I did not receive the last item. I think they fulfilled the last order first; therefore, the people that received the first order did not get it to complete. I purchased a few more items solely because it was the same order and now I have to go out of my way to return the items. I'M EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the customer service that Nordstrom has been providing. In the future, I will think twice before I place an order because this is extremely frustrating.
I got scammed buying gift cards. I called early the next morning, they cancelled the purchases and put refunds on locked cards. They then proceeded to tell me they could not give me the refund on those cards. They stopped the scammers just to keep MY MONEY. To me, they were just as BAD as the scammers. I got scammed once only to be scammed again by Nordstrom keeping my money. If I could give them a ZERO I would - worst customer service EVER.
So much cute stuff, so many items on sale. I order here at least once every few months. Shipping is quick and I've never had a problem with an order. It's always accurate.
Hard to say awful service when in reality there's none. Nordstrom does not stand by it's products even when they are defective. I will never shop there again.
You cannot go wrong shopping at Nordstrom.com They carry top quality items and give great service with free shipping. Even on returns. They are one of my favorite places to shop.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
