Love shopping at this store. The quality of items is really great and a large selection of brands. The price on some items are high but I think you get a higher quality item and great customer service.
The employees are very polite and professional and go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you're looking for. They also don't hover over you and ask if you need help a billion times. (this only goes for the GroveLA... the Nordstrom at the Glendale Galleria is way too pushy.
I have always had great luck with Nordstroms.com. I especially love the feature where you can reserve your item online and pick it up at the store. It is more expensive than most stores, but the customer service is great.
I ordered a scarf from this site. When I received it it looked nothing like the picture, but it's still cute. It really is better quality than I thought it would be. It's the perfect length and a nice fabric. This was just a test to see if it was decent quality and they passed even if the color was not true to the picture!
I can't believe a store like Nordstrom!, dropped Ivanka Line!. I used to buy all the time in Nordstrom!. Not any more!. Stay out of politics and reinstate her line otherwise you will loose a lot of customers like me
I received a letter from Nordstrom saying they could no longer do business with me because of the "high volume" of returns I made. First thing - I keep a very large amount of items I order. Second thing - when ordering clothes, I order multiple colors and sizes (2 different sizes, not 5) because it is an ONLINE order and you cannot try things on. This is online shopping 101 and amazes me that Nordstrom doesn't acknowledge this. I NEVER return things that are clearly worn, damaged, 3 years from the order date, etc. like I see other customers doing. Any items I return are brand spanking new, completely undamaged, and ordered within the past 60 days MAX. Clearly, the "prestige" of Nordstrom customer service has gone significantly downhill in the past few years. I would suggest doing our online shopping elsewhere unless you want to be banned for ordering *gasp* TWO SIZES!
I placed an order with Nordstorm. I was charged over $332 but got an immediate email that they had to cancel "part" because they were out of stock. OK no problem I would find it elsewhere. Oh No Nordstrom cancelled the order but did not give a refund. They charged $332 and then another $84 for the Part they didn't cancel but I already paid for. I am charged over $400 and have not received items or refund. Any reputable seller give you a refund or better yet not charge for an item they do not have. Their phone and chat answers vary from you were not charged (my bank thought I was) or 12-24 hours just to take authorization off or 3-5 days it "should be off" Several days and still no money back. This is fraud taking money for no service or product
Avoid Nordstroms they are not honest. Too many good sellers to waste your money with Nordstroms.
I love shopping at Nordstroms because there is always something new to discover and I can always find clothes that I love on sale. I definitely feel like a valued customer after receiving such personalized service.
I placed an order and then found that I had made a mistake. As it had only been a few hours since I had placed the order, I decided to cancel it. I contacted the customer service chat, and the person I talked to was very unhelpful. They claimed that after 2 hours a cancellation was impossible, and to not to have a supervisor when I asked to speak with one, and would not provide any employee id number or any other identifying information. I then called their customer service, and that representative was able to help me with the assistance of her supervisor, who sent in a cancellation request. I received a refund via Paypal within a few hours. The phone rep was helpful and pleasant to deal with, and I did get a refund quickly, but I felt their live chat service was very poor. In general their return/cancellation policy seems very restrictive and difficult to deal with.
Went to one of their store to buy a dress. I never thought I could find the ones I really like. I saw some pretty ones but just not my size. Small size here. I am glad that one of the Staff there was just very helpful and patient and assist me. A minute or two able to find the perfect size and bonus exactly the one I am dreaming to have. Plus the price is very reasonable. Its one of my to go store to shop!
Affordable, convenient, friendly customer service! We got our second uniform order and we were really glad we chose this store. If you are a small, medium or large corporation, this is your one stop for all your clothes and gifts for your employee and client.
I love Nordstrom, The Rack and HauteLook! They have the best customer service and always puts the customer first. I've gotten $60 in rewards since last August just for shopping at this great company! I live in a small southern state that only has a Dillard's and Belks yet I don't shop at these stores. I go online to Nordstroms first. You can't go wrong with free shipping and free returns all the time. Love this company! Please don't change your product and continue to put your customers first!
I was not a Nordstroms shopper until recently. I have been in their stores but there was never "enough" of anything. About three years ago, while looking for a coat I decided to try their store. And placed an order. Their shipping is free. Their returns are free. The quality of their products is far beyond any I have purchased in most retail establishments. And, most importantly, their sales are great. I have continued to shop there over the years and have never been disappointed.
I bought an Armani suit and had to go back 3 times to the store because the tailors did a terrible job on the suit, it was ruined. I need it a custom suit for a gala event and took me a lot of time to buy it. I end up returning it, loss on the business because lack of training on their employees.
I love shopping at a place where I know I don't have to worry when there are issues.
Last week I went back with 4 items and didn't even have to show a receipt to get my items returned. What a great place.
I returned a dress and jacket to the Fashion Valley Nordstrom's, in San Diego yesterday. I had been looking for a grandmother of the bride dress, light weight for a summer wedding. Irma, the clerk told me to look around, and bring her an item I may find of interest. She made No attempt to assist me with looking! Then suggested I go to Macy's or Bloomingdale's. I did not experience the wonderful Nordstrom's Customer Service from the Old Days. I did go to Bloomingdales' and had FABULOUS service. Thank you Irma for sending me there!
I had very bad experience with Nordstrom rack in Lynnwood, WA last year. The store manager asked for my ID to track my previous receipt, however when I asked it back that idiot said that he never asked me for it... Then he said that he will check the video recording to double check that, came back five minutes later and said that the quality of the video is very poor, but he still sure he never asked me for my ID. I was very short on time to call the police, but I filed a police report next day. That was my last time shopping at that store. This kind of people should not work in customer service...
They are absolutely horrible to deal with. I ordered 2 items. One of the items was missing from the box and the other was incorrect. I was told they wouldn't refund me for the missing item because it was there when they shipped it. The box wasn't sealed. They are rude and definitely treat their customers very disrespectfully. I didn't realize once an item is shipped it's out of their hands who cares if you lose money. Obviously not them because they will just continue to take it. Dirty company. I could definitely add copies of emails from them and chats which would make them look even worse.
I purchased a $500 gift card to present to a friend for doing a huge favor for me. I chose Nordstrom because of the quality of their products and their vaunted reputation for customer service. I have been a customer for decades. Ouch! The recipient of the card sheepishly told me the card was no good. How embarrassing for both of us! No problem, one phone call will settle this, I thought. Wrong! The card customer service rep told me cards are non refundable for any reason. She was disinterested, in a hurry and rude. So much for the myth of Nordstrom quality and customer service... shot down in a 5 minute conversation. I had lost $500 plus I had to replace the gift. Nordstrom got their money. The retailer that sold me the card got their money. My friend got a replacement qift... a little tardy. Me? I
Got the word that Nordstrom quality is not backed up and that the revered customer service is RIP
Twice I caught a pair of boots on sale. Twice the day after I placed the order I got an email the next day saying it was canceled. This has never happened to me at any store before. Twice in a row at the same one is abysmal. Will not shop here in the future.
Answer: From what I have seen, orders come within the week and are always nicely packaged with tissue paper.
Answer: Immediately. Never had problem returns. That they are good on. But maybe, service is affected by the pandemic.
Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
Answer: Maybe it depend on your shipping method if there is no unexpected happens
