My auto renewal was turned off on 11/8 and I was billed on 12/16. I have the email to prove it. I submitted an inquiry with no response for 4 days although the turnaround time should have been 24 hours. I had to start a chat. The issue is now being sent to the billing department.
Scam. Total ripoff.
I purchased 3 months@ $28/month=$64. Remarkably, at checkout it jumped to $83.
The app didn't work on the target phone, yielding a window that said, "Installation failed." The bs line you get from customer service via text (an abysmal 24 hours later) is that you've been sent a beta version and have to obtain the real one--by signing on to a $49/month service and tech help contract!
MSPY sent me info critical to the app via--get a load of this:.txt. It's still 1998 at mSpy.
MSpy goes out of its way to feed the illusion that they're Brits. But your credit card posts at that bastion of honesty and 21st-century tech, Nicosia, Cyprus.
I dislike them, their non-product, the fact that they conned me and I'm posting this anywhere I can.
Just set fire to your money. It's faster. DO NOT SEND MSPY A DOLLAR.

Please avoid using this software and company. The software never fully works and many of the options fail after a few days. But most of all the company will try to cheat out of your money. They put pop up ads for renewal subscriptions on your software home page, and if you accidentally touch the pop up ad it will renew the subscription and debit the amount from your account. This happened to my account one day after I had renewed the subscription. I request a refund but this company does not do refunds under any circumstance. Their refund policy basically rules out every option. Scam operation please avoid at all costs.

I tried this service but found it difficult to use. I signed up a year ago and after realizing that it was not going to work for me, I cancelled. Or at least I thought I did. Fast forward a year later and I get a charge on my card for $149.99 and my bank detects fraud. I close the card thinking it is indeed fraudulent. After some further investigating, I realize it's mSpy. The charge was made December 4. I emailed them December 5 explaining that I haven't used the service and didn't know I had paid for the service, and I wanted a refund for the prepayment for another year. These emails continued for a day or so and I'm done. They absolutely will not refund my money. It's unreasonable and very frustrating. I have found several other ways to monitor my kids devices and I think you should as well.

They lie in their website about what their product can actually do, they dont talk about any limitations like all features are available for all, they wait for you to pay before telling you everything they lied about, everything their product cant actually do, no for all devices, not without a jailbreak.and when you ask for a refund because the product is not as described and is completely useless for your device they refuse and say that its against their refund policy...which they also hide until you actually ask for a refund, scammy marketing, scammy tactics, scammy product, a scam all around, avoid it at all costs

Don't waste time and money. The team billing replays within 24 hours but in vain. Since November 21, I had texted the billing team and made many refund request statements. On December 3, they assigned me new ticket id(as shown on screen shot image). I didn't use the app at all. Today is December 5, the team billing still ignores my request of refund. To be honest,I will update my review if there recent news.

Service Interruption: After paying in full for a one-year subscription, I was able to use the service for a mere month before it abruptly stopped working. Attempts to reconnect and resolve the issue were met with nothing but frustration.
Unauthorized Charges: To add insult to injury, MSPY charged me again, this time a hefty $199.99, for another year of service that I neither requested nor could utilize due to the ongoing issues. The lack of transparency and consent in this matter is appalling.
Customer Service Runaround: Contacting their customer service only added to the ordeal. While they acknowledged the issue, the proposed solutions were impractical, and the blame was often shifted to external factors beyond their control.
Lack of Accountability: MSPY conveniently blames service interruptions on various external factors, failing to take responsibility for their own shortcomings. This lack of accountability only further demonstrates the unreliability of their services.
Refund Hassles: Seeking a refund for the unauthorized charge has proven to be an arduous task. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction and the clear evidence of service failure, getting a straightforward resolution has been elusive.

The installation process was more complicated than I anticipated. It could be streamlined for a better user experience.
I'm concerned about how my data is handled and stored by mSpy. I opened the terms and conditions, and it was too long to read. Maybe it's described there, idk. However, the app works well, as stated!
I would like to have more frequent updates for new features. I think it is reasonable for that price.
