Called to place an order, was told no telephone orders only internet. Then asked for assistance to split payment between a debit card from Indian motorcycles and my regular credit card. Was told no can do. Waited more than 24 hours to place the order and will see how it goes from here before deciding if I make my final decision regarding recommendations and future purchases.
Order was received faster than anticipated. Items were correct size and color and arrived in brand new condition. Items are Free from defects and not blemished. Sizing runs just a tad small so if you are between sizes choose the larger. My son is on the border of a Med-Large in most articles of clothing. I got him a large and the fit is very good.
Web site is not as user friendly as it should be. Looks a bit dated. I was charged 10% restock fee to return a damaged item. Who charges restock fees these day? I will NEVER order from this place again. I reordered the product from RevZilla. I wanted to support this place as it's local. Don't do business here. Read their reviews first. Wish I did.

Everything fits great. The 2 week delivery time was a bit long. But this time of year it doesn't matter much cause I won't be riding my bike anytime soon.

There was a delay in getting our order, they said that they had to wait for the items to be at the same place before they could ship.
Weird thing is- my items were shipped separately and came at different times.

My boots came in one size too small and the return process was not difficult at all. They were in contact with me right away and gave me full refund to order the correct size with. I would recommend them for the future if you want cheap good quality stuff.
Overall an excellent experience. When I decided to ship package to my office, they required I call them to verify that, a nice safety check. Merchandise was exactly as described and shipping was right on track.

Make sure you are certain to what you are purchasing, Motorcycle Closeouts does not pay for return shipping and additional signature request upon delivery. This return may be costly depending how far you live and weight of product.

Showed my friend what I bought and the price paid and he immediately went on line to get the same awesome deal. Will definitely do all my shopping with motorcycle closeouts in the future!
I bought some riding pants that were too small. The return process was easy and smooth. Received full credit for my order, placed another order for next larger size pants. Boom! They arrived much quicker than I expected. Five stars for my entire experience with this store and i will shop here again.
Everything arrived on time and as expected, so I have no complaints about the merchandise or purchase experience. However, within just a few days of my order, the price dropped on one of the items and so I requested a price adjustment. Customer service refused to honor the lower price, even though any brick-and-mortar store would have refunded the difference without any issues. I could have returned the original item and just ordered a new one, however the cost of return shipment plus $10 return charge (a little obscene for just re-processing a credit card) prevented me from doing so. Quite unhappy with this level of customer service. Very shortsighted on the company's part.
You can't beat the value of Motorcycle Closeouts. I ordered gear for someone as a gift. The pants were too small. I called Customer Service and was greeted cheerfully and given easy to follow instructions on making the return. I received credit on my account within one day of the return.

This is Follow-up. The Jacket is a gift and would prefer to not give it at this time, but since we must check for size. Given 30 day return, that is not possible.
Price was great, quality is hard to tell at this point. Thought Jacket would be a bit lighter for summer riding, but overall seems pretty good. Won't return unless fit is an issue.
I needed to return something and it has been a nightmare, first you can either get $10 or 10% off your return whichever is greater or store credit minus you paying shipping and any applicable tax. The shipping time lines are slow. The post office ships faster. The product is awesome who cares if it takes a couple days to get to you. I have just had a really hard time getting a hold of anyone to talk to about my order which is troublesome.
Gloves were bigger than my others that size. Longer fingers than other XL's I've gotten. Overall quality was less than expected. What I thought were a great sale, were in fact about $6 gloves.
I would still shop here as previous orders have been fine. These however were not.

Answer: While we're sorry Deanna had a poor experience, our website is indeed "for real"! If you look around at multiple review sites, most show us having very good ratings, overall. The biggest problem people have is with our return and refund process, which is clearly explained on our website. Exceptions are only made if we ship out the wrong product - that is, not the one you ordered. While some people find this too strict, the margins on closeout merchandise are simply too slim - most other companies won't let you return closeout items at all. We feel like that's quite acceptable, considering you can get gear from us for 70%+ off retail price!
