The TaoTao Quantum 150 Scooter is a reliable and efficient choice for city commuting. Have been using it for a few months now, and it's been performing well without any major issues. The only concern was with the customer service response time. When had a query about the warranty, it took longer than expected to get a response. Nonetheless, the scooter itself is a great purchase, offering good value for its price.

First we couldn't track it because it went thru a different carrier than what they said. Once we got it the CDI was bad in it. Submitted their replacement part form. Called 2 days later to get tracking info and the part was never ordered. On 3/27/15 I requested a certificate of origination and bill of sale because I have to have that to register it. They tell me it will take 10 days and I should have it. 19 days later I still don't have it so I call them. The guy tells me it just got there today. I tell him this is the worst buying experience I have every had because my son still can't ride his 4 wheeler and his response was " you could quit whining about it over the phone and give me your address so I can send it out!" how rude can you be to customers, considering I have 3 more I need to purchase. You couldn't pay me to do business with them again

Poor Service

I am very displeased with the service from moto buys, they are quick to take your money but no so quick to help you when they sell you a defective go cart... it is impossible to get a live person or get them to call you back when you have an issue

Lies, lies and more lies!

After a month of not being able to use the vehicle I took it to a mechanic and paid out of pocket to have the problems diagnosed. It is running now but through no fault of MotoBuys. All I got from them were lies and accusations that the problems were my fault. Don't buy from them unless you are a dealer with a fully equipped shop and a qualified mechanic.
Update, Requested MSO in August. Contacted them and they say it was mailed regular mail with no tracking or receipt. I never got it.
Update #2, Contacted them to get a duplicate MSO. Said it would take two weeks. It's been three weeks and still nothing. Just another lie.

Update #3; although it is not their fault directly, a couple of months after my purchase they dropped the price by almost $1,000. I was stupid to buy from them.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. Please do not buy from them. They charged my card for $699 and have yet to ship my go-cart. It has been two weeks. Now they aren't even answering the phone. It is 9 days before Christmas and I am sure that my son will not be getting his wish for Christmas. Please stay away from this company

Crooked

Bought go karts brand new it won't start and they sent me the parts and they said they will reimburse me for labors. When I call back they say there company don't do that. Never buy from them. They rip you off

Would not recommend, product is fine but people are very difficult to do simple business. I needed a front spindle for an ATV that purchase less than 30 days ago. Wasn't asking for anything other than I need to order a spindle.

I called asked if they could send my scooter to a local shop has 1 mile on it junk they said they they don't pay for labor and i am stuck with it i am not paying affirm 1 more dime telling them to come get it

I got an ice bear cyclone from these criminals. This is stealing. I'm talking to a lawyer now to see if there is anyway to put them out of business. I can't believe they are allowed to sell the garbage they sell. Week one my bike won't start 50 dollars for towing 300 for parts and labor. The shop sells icebear but won't honor the warranty. Week three another trip to the shop another 150 dollars. This morning broke down on the way to work. Bolt holding the drive train case to the steel frame snapped completely in half. Belt shredded. Wheels inside the variator have deep grooves. Called a million times mailbox always full (I'm sure with complaints that's why they don't listen to them) the contact us page where you can send a message they don't answer them either. Please save your money and avoid the headache.

After five days and still no title, no instructions, no manual book and no official receipt. You would think the paperwork would come before the goods The scooter was just missing a few hardware, replacing was no big deal.
No scratches and delivery was rather expedient. However customer service really stinks. These folks just want your money and that is all, but where else are you going to find something different? The best buy, is one you can physically touch, see and even try out. In almost every case, dealing with Chinese goods distributors is less than perfect. It appears to me that their small profits and headaches over whelms their ability to give satisfaction to their customers. For now, I give them 3 stars. I will repost. Just because of timely delivery, no major problems and I like my selection. After speaking to Bob, asking if they had my first choice of color, he said yes... well I got my second choice. A little Lie. That's is OK it did not hurt. I will be back.

Terrible Customer Service
November 28, 2017

Purchased a Tao Tao 125 quad for my grandson in 2015. He has since out grown it and we decided to sell it. Buyer wanted a title for it so I went to MVD and they said it has to have a MSO from the dealer. Contacted Motobuys.com and they gave me the email run around for 2 weeks. My last communication from them is as follows:

Nov 28 at 12:18 PM

Someone will help you replace your paperwork that was lost but it wont be till the first of the year. I have ne available staff to go back into the archives to search your unit. Please call us at *******289 after Christmas.

The only paper work I ever received from these people was a email sales receipt.
These people sell junk and they have very poor customer service.

Disappointed
June 27, 2020

Ordered a 250cc for myself and shipping was fast but a day after riding I had to replace the fuel line and also might have a crack somewhere bc I'm leaking gas. Paid 1900 shouldn't have these problems nor want there help.

I ordered a moped for my son approximately 2 weeks before Christmas. I knew I was cutting it close being in Ohio but bob garanteed he would have it here by then. Some fraud protection problems with my credit card knocked off a few more days but he still made sure it was here on time. Assembly was as easy as he said. 45 minutes later, added gas and it started right up.
Couldn't be more happy with this customer experience.
Would do business again anytime.

Buy somewhere else

Received scooter not assemblied as ad stated it would be. Scooter came with zero instructions on how to assembly it. Rude customer service people. I got the bike and called them looking for the title. They sent me the bike but mailed the title from california to ohio. So basically I have a bike for a week that is useless because I can not get a plate for it.

Ordered the Trailmaster MB200 Mini Bike for son's birthday. The bike itself is fantastic – sturdy build, excellent performance, and exactly as advertised. However, the delivery time was longer than stated. The customer service team was apologetic and kept updated throughout the process, which was appreciated. Once it arrived, the setup was straightforward, and son has been enjoying it immensely. Just be aware of potential delays in shipping.

Dont purchase
November 30, 2017

I purchase a 4 wheeler from them and was really excited. Got the atv in 2 days. Helmet and other item followed the next week. Unfortunately, by time we recieved other items the atv was inoperable. The weld came apart at the shocks after riding less than 2 hours., and caused atv to flip. Looking at it you can see where it broke. Contacted correct dept. and sentplenty of photos,. Their response was. Get it repaired and we will credit you $75.00. Really, after 2 hours and $550.00 that is all I get for my money. Now I have to find someone to repair and I dont trust product

RUN AWAY!

I was a return customer looking for parts to be sent to me that were missing in my order and you guys couldn't even return my emails. I sent 3 emails to * including the pictures requested of the missing parts. Then over the past 3 weeks sent 3 more emails with the last one threatening to start a dispute with American Express if I didn't receive my training wheel that was missing. Pathetic was of doing business

I bought a Kicker 350w Electric Dirt Bike from this "company" and it didn't come with a instruction manual to assemble the handle bars, front wheel, and back wheel suspension. When I called and talked to Sam in parts he told me it is a new bike and Tao Tao hasn't come out with a manual yet. I can't believe a company would distribute a bike without proper instructions to assemble very important components to a bike that is going to be rode by a child. When I tried to make sense of this he got short with me and told me to send the bike back which of course would cost over $100 to send back. Not only is it dangerous to purchase from this company it is also a very poor customer service experience. They just want your money and then bye bye.

Used motor biked

I brought a motor bike shipped from the warehouse & received a used bike with old black oil in it& the oil was also spread all over the filter & some parts of the bike. Called customer service & the man was rude& could not help me.
