Mr. Bell renewed my enthusiasm for dealing with Monster Travel. I had questions as to protocol
For tours which I have yet to receive and also for future booking co-ordinating with a documentary
I am making. He went beyond patience to explain and I am grateful. He advised me well so that I
Can make arrangements and understand what I am doing. Thank you. It was like an 'in person' dialogue
Which I so miss rather than the normal robot prompts, robot answering machines, and questions without answers. Thank you Mr. Bell!
What can I say about Monster Jobs. I have always had positive feedback. They contact me about current jobs they think I would be interested in. Help me update my resume. Get me in contact with recruiters. What more do you want from a job resourcing company. Very well done Monster Keep up the Good work.
Monster job site is free for job seekers. Navigation on the site is simple.
As a candidate, I posted my Resume for a technology contract jobs. Ended up landing in a short-term contract.
My experience is positive based on the recruiters contacting me and connecting with Employers.
Monster.com is one of the best platforms for job searching around the world and it provides a very easy and user friendly interface which makes it very convenient for anyone to search and apply for IT job and non IT. The portal has a quality database and is completely value for your money.
SHAKIRIA was an excellent and professional representative for Monster. Com in making my reservation!
Received many responds back and it also tracks the jobs you have applied.
You can't get job suggestions in your city even when you set your city, they will just keep emailling you with out of town job suggestions. When you email them and ask how to make this stop they will not reply. The harassing phone calls and fraudulent credit card charges is wild, thanks for the heads up/warning. There are plenty of free resume templates to create your own. Never pay for one.
I am very disappointed in the monster website. They allow 2 or 3 companies to post the same jobs every day. You have to scroll past these jobs to see any others. There is also very limited search options. Will not use again.
We placed 3 ads with Monster.com. There are no recent resumes and the applicants that did respond did not meet the requirements we set up. You will get a bunch of unqualified applicants for $399.00.
Huge rip off!
Monster has always been a cesspool of scammers and for-profit colleges. 95% of its leads are junk while the remaining 5% are commission based. I would receive unsolicited phone calls from University of Phoenix recruiters and they said they got my number from Monster.com. And once you enter your email address in your monster profile, you can't change it.
I have been in the staffing industry for 7 yrs now and monster used to be the go to tool. Now they make big claims, force you into a year long contract and have no viable candidates to work with. DO not pay for Monster-use Indeed much better, less cost and no commitment.
Monster employees have no idea how to help their customers. They also don't look past 2018 in their records. I had two resumes written in 2006. I paid $400.00 for these two resumes. I was promised that I could access my resumes anytime from Monster. I have gone around in circles trying to get these resumes. Monster says they looked all the way back to 2018 and they don't find anything? Really I used your service to buy these resumes? Then they want me to produce a receipt from 2006? I was able to find old emails regarding the resumes and finally pulled up some correspondence. I sent those to them and now they tell me that I have to contact another company? What? Why? Don't use Monster for Resumes because you get nothing but a run around and no actual human being to talk to. Then when you ask questions in the email correspondence that NEVER answer your questions! Worst service ever! Contacted the Better Business Bureau as well.
I have a monster account. For some reason I'm not able to login in. I've sent numerous password reset requests/support tickets. They have not responded to any. So now I can't update my resume or anything else. They suck.
Monster changed the site in the middle of a pandemic. They lost all my job search history. I am lucky I backed it all up, turned it into a pdf. But people that needed it to show they were looking for a job just got slashed across the face on this screwing up.
It's just data don't tell me you lost a data table - BS - You dropped it in the code. Monster was the best - Now I use a much better resource, like DICE.
For what you will pay especially from recruiting and staffing agencies, it is absolutely not worth it because most of the people applying to the jobs are not qualified. The system itself is not optimized to focus on the qualified candidates. You cant pre screen them with questions because they barely get the traffic so that feature is not there. They let everyone apply and that leads to $#*! load of unqualified candidates applying. I signed a long term contract in the hope of learning and adjusting and I am regretting it dearly. Monster used to be good during my college days and I thought it is still the same monster so I signed up because of glory days reputation and I was hit hard.
Several calls has been made and their CEO was informed twice to see if there is a way I can be unlocked from the contract because of poor performance of the platform but all they did was ping pong me with their employees, ghost me, ignore me and the cycle continues so that I continue to pay as we roll from month to month..
Monster willingly posts jobs that don't exist. The jobs have links to ads, customer service is non-existent. I've used chat, phone, email, social media, you name it. Their service is set up entirely to make them money, not to connect employers with candidates. It's truly a ripoff for everyone. Maybe the IRS will take notice.
I just got a call asking if we were looking to hire. When my response was " we've got it taken care of" she kept on asking questions about how many, what positions etc.
I politely said thank you but I'm not interested (we have h. R. on staff). She very arrogantly repeated 3 times "that was rube". So I hung up. Talk about customer service.
Submitting my application through Monster and allowing for my information to be seen by other "recruiters" was probably the worst decision I made in my job seeking process. Every week I receive at least two emails and two phone calls about a job that apparently I applied to but need to "sign a confirmation letter" so that they can give their boss my resume (as if that's not public information). This website has opened up my information to scammers and now I have to deal with it weekly. Thanks a lot. (middle finger emoji)
While there's nothing particularly bad about Monster, there's just nothing good about it anymore. Once the biggest job board around, Monster has become another place for companies like Farmer's Insurance and temp staffing agencies to troll for people's contact info. After realizing I was only getting the trolls calling me, I closed my account for good. Sure feels good to be free of that "Monster"! (hehe!)
I have not been able to find any work from this site. I still use it though. Just keep looking and keep trying. The site glitches some times. They will also send you to another website to sign up for just to apply for that job. That's too much work.
