Waiting up to 10 hours for rides on a regular basis. Wrong addresses entered on a regular basis.
Med transport cars regularly are no show no call.
The result... Missed appts.
Missed procedures. Missed treatments. Stuck for hours with no food, water, medication in extreme weather conditions with nowhere to shelter.
Modivcare has never fixed the issues. Corporate has never responded to written correspondence or phone calls.
Major news stations blew the whistle on this company in Florida. (Look it up). They also had 3 whistle blower employees in the Midwest report fraudulent billing totaling 3.8 million dollars in a period of many years.

1. your state senator
2. Your congressman
3 your attorney generals office, dept of consumer protection.
4. Medicaid, Medicare fraud and waste.
5. State dept of social services
6. State dept of transportation
7. Major news networks.
If everyone did this
8 your insurance company. Every time.
9. Modivcare Everytime.
If everyone does this, they will be forced to fix their problems at some point.
The biggest concern is how any peoples health worsened by waiting for care or may have died from missing dialysis etc. Procedures being delayed etc.
This company needs to be audited.
It has been months and my driver has not been reimbursed for my trip to The Mayo Clinic. I have end stage heart failure and cannot drive myself to the Mayo Clinic. They said that I need to resend the form which I HAVE DONE MULTIPLE TIMES. They are not dependable, and chances are your loved one will be stranded.
My sister is going thru Humana Medical Medicare to get transportation to Needed Dr. appts. In the last 4 appts made, modivcare never showed up to pick her up…. Called and lied when they said they were 5 min away, and never returned her phone calls. My sister had to cancel 4 dr. Appts because they NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED HER TO SAY THEY WERE NOT GOING TO PICK HER UP! She is scheduled for knee surgery and now has to make other arrangements for this situation! The company is incompetent and thoughtless, and they have no care about their responsibilities as a transportation company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!,
English is not the not the native tongue of most of the ModivCare office dispatchers. Very frustrating! Had to continue asking "what did you say' or "I don't understand". The agents all have a script that they read from and they did not deviate from it. I had a medical procedure with my gastroenteritis that required that the driver wait while the procedure was performed. I talked to five different agents for over 2 1/2 hours and the exact same verbiage was used. During this incident I had a customer service representative from Humana on the line with me. They even had the same issue. On the fifth call, after hearing the same script I asked to speaker to her supervisor. She said that the supervisor was on the line. I asked again to speak to the supervisor, she put me on hold for twenty minutes then I and the Humana representative were disconnected. I waited thinking that she would call me back since my number is in their system. It did not happen. I am now prompted to start looking for another carrier. I really wish I could give them a third of a star rating!
This company is a nightmare. They cancel my 10 month old baby's rides to his physical and occupational therapy an hour or two before his appointment and give no reason as to why. I get text messages verifying my ride the day before each time and the website also verifies that the ride is set up, then when it comes time to be picked up, their website states that there's no rides scheduled. We aren't picked up and we keep missing his appointments.
They've lied to me and said that they notified me that the ride was canceled when it never happened. I have screenshots and I've been documenting all of this. I get told that a supervisor will call me and the 3 times I was promised, I never got a call.
Does this company receive money from Medicaid for each ride they set up whether or not the ride is fulfilled? Something about this company is raising red flags to me that they are scamming Medicaid.
My son's doctor's office has told me that many of their patients are having the same issues as me. One of their drivers claimed to pick us up and drop us off at his doctor's office when we never were picked up. So far we have been failed to be picked up 6 times now.
I would give zero stars if it would let me but i have to give at least 1 to write this review, what I'm going to put on here will only scratch the surface of the issues ive had with them over the last several months their website only works when it wants to, so when you is to schedule a appt. It will show it goes through just to find out later it didnt so you have to call them but by the time they "fix it" they use the excuse its to soon to schedule a ride even if you scheduled it 3 to 4 weeks in advance, next issue they cancel rides last min and do not inform you untill you call the day of the trip asking where your ride is after is was previously approved, Their "automated phone bot" refuses to let you speak to a "real person" and by the time you finally get it to transfer you to one they are rude and refuse to help you. Their website even load half the time popping up certificate errors and you have to click off it and agree to go to a unsafe site to get it to even somewhat load. And remember this just scratches the surface there is so many more issues but i would be a week typing them all out
Scheduled appointment 4 days in advance ride never showed they canceled trip at last minute tried calling on hold over an hour still no one. Had to reschedule. This is not the first incident
Drivers are never on time plus or minus 1and 1/2 hours.Vans are in sad state of repair. The drivers them selves are courteous and professional The dispatchers are the PROBLEM. The DISPATCHERS the RUDEST on the planet.
In referring to them, I believe this is a company that doesn't want to do the right thing for customers. They don't show up at times.
They did not send a ride for my appointment and after 2.5 hrs of trying to get home I booked my own.
Drivers are rude...nasty to.and there vans smell bad...there a scam...there drivers look like thay just got out of prison. Sad
For the past 6 weeks I've scheduled 3 -5 different appointments with transportation through modivcare and have only been to one and that was 6 weeks ago they have cancelled my ride everytime less than 12 he's from my appointment the MRI and x-ray appointment 4 cancelation to where they refuse to schedule me another appointment the pain doctor says if I cancel again I can never come back I only had this doctor a month and he is already giving up on me usually the no shows limit is lifetime limitnot withmodi care I'm too ashamed to call any of them back and I feel it's because of erace if you are not black or talk like you black they don't acknowledge you 6 weeks of scheduling and not onepick up I will never use again and am waiting on a lawyer to call me or a class action which ever comes first
I have dealted with Modivcare 3 separate times and 2 times they screwed up my appointments with my Orthopedic doctor! I will NEVER deal with them again!
Their routing department assigns whatever transportation they want despite the patient's needs or requirements.

Movidcare will hire anyone. The companies they hire could care less about clients. The cars are dirty & smell like ash trays.
Of the 7 NEMT trips we have scheduled with MC, all were no shows but one. Worst experience we have ever had - ever. My Mother's health has been compromised as well as her relationship with her healthcare providers as a direct result of MC's blatant disregard for UHC members and their transportation. On two occasions MC scheduled us with a driver from Yellow Cab - 350 miles from our home - 700 miles round trip. Last week they scheduled a driver from San Diego - 950 miles away - 1900 miles round trip. MC left me 4 voicemails confirming our driver would be here on time. When I explained to a supervisor that these drivers were too far way, I was told that is "NOT THEIR PROBLEM". During and after a scheduled trip, MC has given us a multitude of excuses for their no show. None of which made any sense. I have waited over 1/2 hr to speak to a supervisor only to be told they will call me back - they never have. For trips I scheduled 3 -4 weeks in advance, they've told me I didn't give them more than 48 hrs to find driver. Another time I called to find out why they never showed up, and was told "We've designated a team who have been working non stop to find you a driver". A team! Really!?This was for an appt that had already come and gone! Wouldn't the date be an important factor in the scheduling for this team? I would not recommend Motivcare to anyone. They cannot be counted on and have made it crystal clear over and over again that they couldn't care less about actually providing the service they are contracted nd paid to do.
