Either the profiles I have been in touch with run by ladies who work for MeetMayAge, or the website/app is based on AI where chat bots run the conversations. For example, if you ask the person you're talking to if they are a Chat bot, you don't get a response right away. And when you mention to your lady friend your cancelling your subscription, and want to continue on a different platform, you almost get the same response followed by a question: "Want to keep chatting here. What's in your mind?". I didn't feel I was talking to real human beings so I cancelled my subscription and got half of my subscription. If you are a player in the making, you might use this app to practice. I don't recommend it though.

I am just adding to what others have already said. I was in the app for a few hours and realized I wasn't chatting with humans, but bots. It's frustrating, you see all the same patterns in the conversation. They bombard you with questions, they don't give any personal details, no authenticity. It doesn't take much to realize you are being played. I want to open a lawsuit against this app for the horrible way it scams people and for false advertising. Even their responses for PR are AI. I am placing all over my Social Media a warning so people are aware and NEVER use the app again.
