I have now completed five or six Max Sold purchases and I couldn't be happier. I always get a more than fair price. When I'm outbid, I get an email which makes it super easy to up my bid if needed.
Super easy. The only aggravating part was loosing the bid. This site is my new go to site. I'm waiting for all the other towns in my area to open up.
As a repeat buyer, I can say this company is great! They look out for their sellers and their buyers. The deals are great, and if you have too much stuff it's a nice way to get a little cash and get rid of it!
I have just started buying with MaxSold, and have purchased from seven auctions so far. I have a mobility impairment and love being able to visit so many auctions locations without leaving home. The photos and descriptions have been accurate. The prices have been excellent. Whether the auction is seller-managed or MaxSold managed, pickup has been efficient and pleasant. I like being able to enter a maximum bid, so I don't have to worry about losing an item I really want, and I enjoy being part of the live close when my schedule permits. And I feel good knowing these items won't end on in landfill!
With the variety of items up for auction, doing your homework can actually put money in to your pocket, or build on your own collection. Also great way to get deals on other items needed around the home!

They block your account after winning sucefull auctions for no reason? Spent over $1000 going to these auctions buying items. Went to Loog into my account says I breached security violations, no way is that true? Company is horrible customer service. Miss managed staff that just sit at the auction will not help you lift anything
I just started browsing and buying from MaxSold Auctions and with my first Auction I have been hooked. I have been attending on-site auctions since I was a child and have sat through many auctions waiting hours for one item to come up. I no longer have the wait and what makes the process even better is the efficiency, friendliness and professionalism of the Max Staff. MaxSold makes the entire process way too easy... and I love it! I haven't had a bad experience yet.
I have now completed 4 seller managed auctions with Maxsold. I could not be happier, everything sells and for a decent amount, always paid within a week! I find their service amazing, instead of having a yard sale for days and still have items left over paid maybe 1/2 of what I receive on Maxsold! The bad reviewer must not of had good items to sell or she would also have the same review as I do! Also if the server you are on is not functioning properly, use another! This is not Maxsolds' issue!
I love Maxsold. You can find everything from Canes to corn dog machines on here. You'll just have to keep checking back and make sure to pay that bill at the end of the auction. Most pick up days are on a Saturday so be ready to get your items than.
I love this auction site so much, I have purchased so much from them and it is so easy to get just the things I want rather than going to garage sales or buying on line. I cannot say enough about what fun I have had since finding this site.

The first thing you need to understand is how an auction works, that's on you. If you don't like how it works than don't use it. The next thing you need to understand is the value of the item you are bidding on, that's also on you to decide. If you are a seller, do your own selling if you want to make sure you are getting the price you are going to be happy living with, otherwise you are at the mercy of the auction process.

As a buyer I'm impressed with this type of auction, I put in my maximum I can afford and if I win I collect. I buy for my home or my neighbours who are looking for something they need but can't afford at store prices. I picked up a rocking recliner that was in really good condition for $49.00 from an estate sale, my neighbour was thrilled, she never thought she would ever own such a nice, comfortable chair. In her mid 70's, with a fixed income, that chair made her day, she was so grateful to me for finding it and picking it up and to the seller for letting it go. We can't all afford to pay top dollar but we still like nice things. I was able to pick up some camping gear for my neighbour's son so he could go on his first camping trip. He was so thrilled, he said now he needs a tent and fishing rod so I have to keep my eyes open for him, he's six years old. I have used the Maxsold auctions to pick up cutery, small set of dishes, pots and pans, linens and other things for students going away to school for the first time. It helps to get them what they need and would otherwise do without if they had to buy from a store. I spoke to one seller who was upset about having to downsize, I thanked her for allowing me to now enjoy some of her treasures. I'm not a reseller, I buy for myself, family or friends. Without Maxsold I would not be able to own wicker sun chairs or a good solid wall unit. I too am very grateful to Maxsold for coming up with this idea and to the Sellers who use their services. Thank you for my wonderful baker's rack, I love it.
I accidentally came across MaxSold and being an online auction guru, I figured I'd bid on ONE thing just to see how it was. I was sadly outbid but was hooked on the site and the wares available to bid on! I love how simple it is to see locations on the map, I love how easily the transaction is processed when you win, I love how quick and straightforward picking up is and I have yet to have any issues with the site or pickup (knock on wood). Will be bidding on more auctions before day end!
I love the online auctions! I can peruse the items at my leisure and bid what I think is fair with a max bid. Pickups have been super easy and the staff are always helpful.
I've been using MaxSold as an online auction tool for the past 6 years or so. I've found all manner of items and treasures and have been impressed how they have upped their game year over year. Bidding is easy, contact is great, and on pick up day they've always been helpful. Sometimes it's slow, but its usually because people are showing up at the wrong pickup time or getting large items. Overall I am more than happy and look forward to the next auction pick up day!
I am a buyer with maxsold. I have found their site, the auction well organized. The staff at the pickups are always friendly and helpful. While pickups can be busy and appear hectic they are well organized and efficient. Love dealing with them!
Maxsold contacted me after my review. They apologized for my experience and explained that its service is designed to quickly get rid of contents for people who have to get rid of their things or move, re-locate etc. It is not necessarily designed to make money, just to help with removing alot of stuff fast. Had I known that, I would not have used them for my auction. I wish this was better explained on their site and in their materials explaining their auction service. I do appreciated their contacting me about it. Thanks

In addition to contacting this Seller about our purpose (https://maxsold.com › maxsold-purpose) and apologizing for not sharing this more widely, we did make concessions on our commissions (for those reading this that feel we should have done more). We remain sorry that it was not enough to make this customer feel they were treated fairly and that our materials didn’t clearly outline what we do and do not promise to accomplish (control of time, not price, respectively).

Maxsold is a business designed to generate alot of income for themselves. My auction was very disappointing. Very little revenue but of course, they got their fee as well as the bidders fees, making more money than the Sellers (us). Many people picking up their essentially free bids complained that during the bidding process the bidding froze, saying the server was too busy. This resulted in very low bids. I may as well of given everything away, after hours and hours of preparation with the Seller managed sale. I will not ever use this service again, nor bid on any of their auctions and participate in making them money. When I called on the weekend during pickup times with an issue, noone was available to answer the phone. Someone could do a much better job and create a far better service than this one!
Answer: The site states clearly that you must pick up your article at the specific time and place. If you cannot do that or arrange for someone to do it for you... then don't bid.

The first time you bid at any of our auctions, your card will be pre-authorized for $1.00.
