Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I was quoted 10-14 business days to delivery. At around 10 business days, I reached out asking for an update, because the status was still "open" and not "shipped", and received a canned response about waiting the full 14 business days. Well, here we are, reached back out, and was now told up to an additional 3 weeks. There are reviews about this issue going well before Covid-19 restrictions. Completely inexcusable and unprofessional.
Watch out! You are NOT buying brand new chairs! You have to read the fine print to find out that the Herman Miller chairs they are selling are "Open Box" - code name for "used" or "Refurbished". Terrible customer service here!

While the shipping took longer than expected we received the order with only damage to 1 item. That item is being replaced at no charge with no required return of the damaged piece. That's what customer service is about.
I ordered one chair from them. It was damaged in shipping, unfortunately. They were quick to respond to my email though, and they solved the issue beyond my expectations! I recommend them for the customer service alone, but the prices were also pretty dang good.
We purchased several chairs from them and one of the chairs unfortunately had a broken part. However, Madison Seating offered to let us keep the defective chair and will be sending a brand new one free of charge! :)
I recently purchased a ThinkChair from Madison Seating. The chair was delivered prior to the anticipated delivery date and assembly was easy. The sales and customer service representatives have been phenomenal! I will, definitely, buy more products from them.
I purchased a Herman Miller chair from Madison seating a few years ago. Within 2 years the armrest material (? Leather) began to crack and look awful. Madison seating sent me a complimentary replacement pair which I installed myself. 3 years later, new armrests are cracking again! When I called today I was told they won't replace these and that I should go to eBay to get a replacement set. Even though the manufacturer (Herman Miller) warranties the arm rests for 12 years, the reseller (Madison seating) refuses to do so. For me it's all about customer service and this represents poor service.
I ordered a new office chair that arrived with some damage due to shipping. I emailed customer service and they offered to replace the chair for me. I was very happy with this offered solution. (4 out of 5 stars only because I am currently waiting for the replacement chair).
I have been looking for a steel case v2 for the past few months and with the unbeatable great pricing I chose Madison seating. Was able to call in and get a live person to answer my questions. He assured me the used Herman Miller office chair I was eyeing was in excellent condition. The shipping was fast, the chair was packaged properly and assembly instructions included were easy to follow. Just a thorough cleaning and my chair is like new... I saved about $400! This chair is used daily in my home office and suits me nicely.
I purchased the black Steelcase Think chair (refurbished) and there was an issue with the gas cylinder. Customer Service quickly responded to my emails and have worked diligently to correct the problem. Thank you!

Excellent place to get good quality at cheap prices. The website was easy to use and the customer service excellent. Even though you don't get to see the furniture before you buy the fact that it's free delivery and free return makes it a worry free experience. The dining table set we bought is awesome. Furniture is sturdy, good looking and comfortable.
I've purchased 2 Leap V2 chairs (1 leather, 1 cloth), 4 Think Stools, and 1 Think chair. The Think Chair arrived with a failing hydraulic piston. Unable to replace / repair the lift mechanism, Madison Seating offered to replace it without charge. Other than some delay in email responses, I've appreciated their pricing and service.
We purchased 3 Steelcase chairs from MadisonSeating.com. The chairs were ordered for home office use and we didn't want anything flimsy. There was damage to two chairs in transit and the company was quick to resolve the problem by getting replacement chairs ordered right away. While we regret the damage to the packages, we would recommend this company for competitive prices and good communication with its customers.
Read lots of good, and lots of bad reviews about Madison after I placed my order and I almost tried to cancel it because I was kind of worried. My chair arrived within the time window they said it would, the box was a little beat up, but the chair was packed pretty well so it didnt suffer any damage. The chair looks VERY close to new, a light scratch on one of the arms and some dust. Easy to overlook for the huge price savings. The important parts of the chair look brand new. Very glad I decided to give them a try. If I need anything else I'll certainly check with them again!

I received my a Steel Case Leap V1 and put it together just to find out that the chair wobbled side to side. Besides that, the chair is in good condition. So, I reached out to the customer service and got a quick courteous response. They offered to replace the chair at no cost to me if I wrote this review.
I ordered a desk that was being sold on the Madison Seating website for $343. I had found the same desk on another website for about $15 cheaper but preferred the more professional looking Madison Seating website and went with them instead since they claimed they price match. My order was placed on a Friday but by Tuesday I had an email stating that they were not able to get the item and had canceled the sale. I checked the website Thursday just to see if it was still listed and found the same desk selling for $389... So they cancelled my order and raised the price. Great customer service!

We offered to pick up the chair at our expense and issue a full refund as we are now sold out of the blue Aeron chair. We did not intentionally ship you an incorrect color chair. Mistakes happen. This was an honest mistake done by a packer, probably due to the holiday rush. The color black and blue are hard to discern on a mesh chair. Please return the chair at this point as your reaction to the error has been a tad excessive.
