Now that I am working from home, I needed a comfortable chair with lumbar support. I ended up purchasing the same chair that we have at work because I already knew it was comfortable and durable. The company was quick responding to all of my questions.
Though I tried to contact their customer service team many times, they just don't respond in time and kept making excuses for the delayed shipment, which is truly annoying. In the latest email, they even blamed me for not sending the email to "explicitly confirm the order to proceed" after they told me the delayed date the second time. I guess there might be some serious problems going on in their supply side and they want to push me cancel the order from my side.
Anyway, don't order anything on this website if you want to get your chair within a reasonable time. But if you are willing to wait for half a year, then give it a try and good luck.
Same issue as many other reviewers on here. Ordered a Herman Miller chair three months ago and it still hasn't arrived. Deadlines they give for delivery keep getting missed as they keep changing their delivery time. They don't even answer their phone and tell you to email them. Wish we never ordered a chair from these scam artists.
I recently ordered an open box Humanscale Freedom task chair from Madison Seating's Ebay store. The seller shipped the order within a week, but FedEx delayed the arrival, and they unfortunately damaged the chair significantly during shipping. The chair itself is in apparent new/like new condition, with no damage that does not align with the exterior damage to the box.
When I contacted them, Madison Seating responded promptly--within the same business day--to my email regarding this issue. Rather than shipping the damaged chair back, they offered an arrangement to send a new chair at their cost. Provided the new chair arrives safely, I am pleased with my interaction with Madison Seating and would purchase from them again.

I received a chair that somehow would not assemble properly. I ordered a chair from Madison Seating and there were some scuff marks on the arm rests. I notified them of the issue and the immediately shipped out replacement arm rests at no additional charge. This business is a lier who will use your credit card without approval. I bought a chair on this website and two week later they charge me an extra fee on my credit card without notifying me. I contacted them by email Friday Morning but their customer said they are closed on Friday then refused to reply nor provide a correct explanation.
We ordered 7 Leap chairs from Madison Seating. Upon delivery we found three were broken. We sent an email with photos to customer service and received a response and satisfactory resolution within the day. We would definitely order from them again based on their excellent customer service.
Ordered a supposedly in stock chair at the beginning of December, with their site and order confirmation saying in stock items should ship in 10-14 days.
By the start of January I had received zero communication from the company as to possible delays or any status on the order. I had to email them asking where the order was, and their response was it will be delivered mid to late January, despite specifically trying to order an in stock item.
Filed a BBB complaint about the misleading advertising and poor communication. Their response to this was to outright cancel the order in retaliation.
Save your money, time, and energy. Ordering from this company is a gamble that you'll ever actually receive your items, and if you do, it'll probably be next quarter.

I bought the Ergo Elite Office Chair in May of 2017. Love it! After about 2 years, it started creaking a bit and slowly increased over the next year until it was quite loud. I emailed Madison and asked for a manual on how to open the seat casing and lubricate the springs. In less than a week, I had a replacement seat sent to me! I just had to take the back, arms, and cylinder/legs off and put on the new seat. It was amazing! I expected a manual and got a new seat instead! This is by far the best customer service I've ever received on a product and the speed in which they took care of me - less than a week from my email until the replacement seat was at my door - is stunning! Madison Seating is now the only place I will shop for future purchases and will gladly refer to anyone.

They sent me a chair with a missing part (it's the tilt arm, chair is unusable without it). They claimed it was described on the website as missing that piece. NOT TRUE, they can't provide the listing showing that was how it was listed for sale. It was one of 5 I purchased and other 4 were complete. Refusing to replace. INCREDIBLE. The have offered a return at my shipping cost, which would cost me more than I paid for the chair. If you purchase just be aware that the guarantee is a SHAM and all sales are final with them.
The review is completely inaccurate. The chair this buyer selected was not advertised, nor was he charged, for the features he requested. The chair was not "missing" the features, as it was not advertised to include those functions. The chair comes in many different models that include different functions and accessories. The buyer received the correct model chair he purchased with the features that were advertised.
This company went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my order through them. Upon receiving my order in the mail I noticed that there was damage done to the item during the shipping process which was obviously out of their control. I reached out to their customer service department and they let me know that in order to avoid any further inconvenience they would provide me with a new replacement item and I could keep the damaged item free of charge. These changes were not covered by our FREE shipping promotion and therefore charged to his account. We emailed him several times regarding the charges and respectfully asked him not use our Fedex account in the future for any service changes.
