I never went into Backstage, I consider it a thrift store that is not together. But, there is a new lady named Naya she assured me and walked me to the item I could not find in regular Macy's. She took the time to talk to me, find out what I needed, stuff I did not want, but she talked me into buying. When she walked me back to the register there was a long line. She took me to the end regisgter and said "do you think I am just going to let you walk away after all the hardwork I put into shopping with you." She placed my items on her regisgter and rang them. As I looked at the long line of people I just stepped in front of, she said, "if I didn't have on a mask you could see me smiling, those people are regulars who will come down here to me and talk and get just as much time with me as you did".
I will always stop by Back stage not only to say hello to her, but to hear her laugh when she speaks to people, how she interacts with all the customers and just for her Customer Service.
I purchased Lancome Perfume special for christmas and because they canceld my order and did not inform me. That is there policy. When I called customer service the first time i got hungup on after I spent 15 minutes triying to find out what as the reason. Called a second time and they said it is there policy to cancel whe it is not in stock and not inform the customer. I hate Macys.
This was the first holiday in which I ordered as many clothes, shoes and gift items as I did from Macys. >20 items. Very nice surprise that all the orders shipped accurately (sizes, colors, etc) except 1, which Macys rectified in just 1 day after my call to customer service. Impressive that this store can handle the rush so accurately. Moreover, Macys allowed me an exchange 1 day past deadline (since timing was so close). On clothing return to the store was fast and painless. Finally, my godiva chocolate gifts came in a styrofoam box with a cooler pack, and shipping was free due to the amount! No boxes broken nor damaged. In contrast, my one bedsheet set purchase from Kohls was incorrectly delivered twice. Overstock charged me a $20 restocking charge for one return. And my email question to customer service at a local orange producer still hasn't been answered after one week. Lesson learned. Future holidays will definitely mean shopping at Macys.com first! My husband and I just returned home from a disastrous trip from Macys. It has always been our go to store at the holidays. No longer. First, the store was a disastrous mess! There were clothes and trash everywhere. To top off our shopping experience, in the way to checkout I stepped in dog poop. The clerk said she called housekeeping several times but no response. How sick is that—dog poop on the main isle! Macy's we realize that these are tuff times and it is hard to get quality help but dog poop-REALLY?!
I took off my shed once we left and cleaned them the minute we arrived home. SICK!

I will not be ordering anymore from Macy's. Their method of delivery takes longer than getting something delivered from the UK. They use this UPS innovative which means it will be switched to USPS which delays delivery, also it's a good possibility it may just sit somewhere till room on a truck can be freed up. Why not just mail it through the USPS in the first place? It is Not good customer service to keep one waiting and waiting for their package. Some of these businesses just don't look past their noses. I guess because they don't have enough common sense to do so. This is the reason I will dispute a charge. I get tired of waiting and the change of delivery dates becomes annoying.
I have a Customer Service issue with Macys. After several attempts to get it resolved, I decided to go straight to the top. You can e-mail the CEO Jeff Gennette - *******@macys.com and cc Charlotte DiMattei Liason - *******@macys.com. Neither one of them will help you. I figured if enough people contact them, they will take their issues with customer service seriously. If they get bombarded with complaints, they will be as annoyed as we are.

Tried online help but no longer available. Tried logging in to account but have to change password but cant change password because i have to log in to do it. I purchased a item years ago on macys website i opened a macy's card download the app on my phone changed my last name and address on the appt, purchased a item waited for the item received a text stating the item was delivered went to the mail box item not there contacted macy's i was told it was delivered ask the rep for the address i was givin a old address told the rep thats not the correct address when i purchased the item i put my correct address in as well as i had to show my DL to the rep who opened up my card in the store so where did that address come from wasted a hr on the phone with the rep giving her all my information first and last name as well as the correct address the rep said she will resend out the order i received the tracking number hrs later a low and behold the wrong $#*!ing address again i contacted macy's customer service and by this time i'm pissed i keep getting transfered from this person to this person and getting hung up on at this point just give me my damn money back i no longer want the item. Macy's had the nerve to ask me to review the item do you prefer i drive to the house you keep sending the item to and ask the how would they rate the $#*!ing item, as soon as they refund the card they can close it because i don't want to go through unneccessary stress i am so over macy's.
I think my title says it all. They say 5 to 10 business days then they after you pay Oops it'll take a month or if ever.

Mid November ordered three items kitchenware, the largest being over $200.00 pot & pan set. Received 2 items within a week like Macy's used to deliver. The third item for over 200 dollars a shipping label was printed but the order was never filled after three weeks, i finally called customer service, first i was told that it would arrive within a few more days. After another week I called and the gal said UPS that she can see has sent the item and I should call UPS with the tracking number and they will tell me where it is. Called UPS they said it's the same that I can see a label was printed but no item was delivered to put that label on. Called back upset that I was lied to and recanted what UPS stated. I already knew that Macy's oversold a this product as they listed five hundred were available and 674 were sold.Gee why would any company do that? This time customer service tried to reorder for me and found there were none left< Duh? Anyway she would issue a credit immediately. Well it's now two weeks later and no credit was ever issued. Called customer service they said they read everything in the order and now will call me back in four days to update me because the hold up is because the label was printed so it looks like the merchandise would be delivered on their side. Mind you they took the money out of my account immediately and won't credit me for the merchandise they don't have for now a month? Going to the bank today to claim a false deduction. Macy's customer service is over sea's if you can reach them and try just try to get anything resolved. Will never order online from them again, what a shame, they used to be quality you can count on now they are trash. Rip off customers knowing they don't have items they are selling. Just Wow. There is no minus so the rating is to good for the service.
I have bought an expensive office chair from Macy's and it is turned very poor quality, made in China, 100% fake chair.

I bought a pair of pants online 11. 21. 21, received today 12. 1. 21. Waited for delivery only to find security ink tag still on pants. Returned same day because security tag was left on. It was principle. I'm in store make a purchase, pant and sweater. Get home the security tag is on the pants. Ordered online so would not have to go in store. Frustrated because tag was on initial pair of pants. Then make purchase and happens in store also. My time is money, gas prices are high, I used to shop Macy's all the time. They really need to step up their game!

Do not go into this store people, they are allowing people with their pets to come in and shop. I have sent multiple notices to the Macys headquarters regarding this El Centro California store and have heard nothing back yet. Pets will urinate on floors and none of the store employees will do anything to clean it up. HEALTH HAZARD TO THE PUBLIC. Only service dogs are to be allowed in any store where the public consumers shop. Poor management conditions if any in this store.
