Terrible customer service. Unprofessional and rude. Even worst when calling 1- 800 number. Very difficult when trying to discuss online orders. Have had issues with processing orders w Macy's card but not a problem with my personal card. Even billed twice using my debit card and spent more than an hour on phone being bounced around to different departments.
Went to buy swimwear. Saw two racks that's stated 30% off or greater. Found unreal deals on shorts. When went to cashier she rang up and noticed the pricing did not match the ticket. Cashier said I need to call Manager when I asked about the ticket pricing. John Dept manager came over I explained to him about the pricing difference he said it was a mistake. I explained to John not my issue if staff either put wrong price or not. He said well I can't do anything. I asked for his boss which Allie store director came to see and I explained to her again the same she said well it ran out of ink. I asked so all 150 items marked this way staff would not see ink problem? She said can't be right pricing which I again showed her signage stating 30% or greater. I think these Managers could have made the situation better but instead they said no. Customers don't know what deals are when or pricing. If you advertise 30% or greater than honor it. Will reach out to corp office which hopefully will find a resolution.
I have never had this happen with others stores. I have been a happy customer of Macy's for many years, but yesterday when I went to pay my bill, I showed they were charging me for several late fees-- one was $22.70 and another was $42. Upon calling to get this straightened out, customer service told me that I had "3" Macy's accounts. I was getting late charges on a different account than the one I thought I was using and paying on. The recording I received when calling to pay the month before said "zero balance," and that "nothing is due at this time." Therefore, I didn't pay. After explaining this to customer service, they waived $40 from the late charges (not the entire $42), and they would not waive the past $22 late fee. This is CRAZY. Is this how they make their money? There is no way I would intentionally open 3 accounts. I pay my bills on time. I know they could have waived these two late fees and closed 2 of my 3 accounts--I only need one. This is just so wrong. At the end of the call, I told them to cancel ALL of my accounts. I won't shop there anymore. There are better stores that truly appreciate their long time customers. They may have gained $22 from me in late charges, but they lost my supposedly "3" Macy's accounts along with me as a customer!

I ordered a desk in October 2021 and after I ordered I received a message that the item wasn't in stock until January 2022. I was surprised but waited for the item. When it arrived it had a broken and glued drawer and one that wouldn't open. I reported it and they sent a tech who said they needed to be replaced and Macy's will call me. After a few days without hearing from them I called and the customer service agent said they couldn't replace the drawer and needed to schedule a full exchange. I waited 2 weeks for the exchange… came broken again. I told their delivery guy I refused to accept a broken item and he told me he couldn't take it back and that I needed to call Macy's. I did and they confirmed it was my right to refuse the item. They booked a 3rd exchange… few weeks later the exchange desk was also broken. I told the new delivery guy he needed to take both desks and he also refused. I called Macy's and they basically said that it was my right to refuse the item but I needed to keep it u til they arranged a new return. It was ridiculous. They promised it would be fast and I had a broken desk for 2 additional weeks in my office. I tried to write a review twice in their website and twice they didn't post it. Terrible customer service and products. Go to a credible furniture store that stand by their products and are responsible.
I am a woman in her 70s. I bought a mattress set in January of 2020 paid $900 on-sale! Supposed to have 10yr warranty on it. I can't sleep on it because it makes my whole body hurt! It sunk down in the middle of it. I can't get know one to come an inspect it for 2 months. I have no where to sleep! I beg them to come. My whole body aches. I need help! My children have received coats 2 Christmas' in a row, and both times the coats were torn in less then a month. They are cheaply made, and I have never seen coats rip on the side by the pocket. The coats are warm, but each time they get multiple rips in the for from the slightest movement. I have never had that problem with any other coats in the past. They claim these jackets are $80 and sell them for $20. I end up buying more coats after they just got these.
