After I received 3 items of ordered online, noticed there's a defect (invisible defect, but I can feel w/my finger).
So I returned all 3 items via UPS (I placed all three in one same box).
They gave me refund for only one item.

I want to start out by saying I am a 24 year old female and I look even younger. I absolutely love Macy's clothing, shoes and purse selection. I work a professional job and find that their selection of business/business casual clothing perfectly suits my style. So, it's really a bummer I always leave the store with nothing. I have been to a handful of Macy's locations across Florida and always have the same unfortunate experience of being ignored. I see all these middle-aged and older women shopping around me and each of them are greeted by the staff and offered assistance. Not once has an employee at Macy's ever greeted me, offered me help or even acknowledged my existence. I understand I look like I am 16 because I have such a baby face, but this should not matter anyway. It always feels like the employees see me as a young kid who can't possibly afford to shop at their store so they focus on their older customers who they are confident will purchase something. I have ATTEMPTED to shop at Macy's over and over again, willing to spend $200-$400 on their top notch apparel and even sometimes bring my friends along. Each time, I feel so unappreciated as a customer and straight up embarassed that I end up just leaving the store. I guess the moral of the story is that neither me, nor my friends, will be making the attempt to shop with Macy's if they cannot appreciate us as customers despite our age. You never know who makes a decent paycheck and is willing to spend a fortune with your company over their lifetime. I just know it won't be me or my friends because we have given far too many chances to Macy's. Some day, all of their older customers are going to die and all that will be left is the younger generation they continue to ignore.
I purchased 4 sweaters all on the same date, all for the same price, all the same brand. Macy's' website touts a 90-day return policy. I tried to return 2 of them today and it would not let me return one. The chat customer service representative was pretty useless and could not point me to anything on the website explaining why one was subject to a 30-day return policy. She just kept saying I needed to read the website. (Hmm, wish I'd thought of that LOL). Attempting to call customer service was even worse. Could not reach a live human being. I guess live and learn - notwithstanding a policy that says clothes have a 90-day return policy, sometimes they don't. At random. And don't expect to be able to reach a live human being by calling without a herculean effort.
Today I placed an order using the mobile application to purchase gifts for two persons who have upcoming birthdays. About 10 hours later, I went to check the status of the order, which included an electronic gift card, and I was surprised to see that it was canceled. Then, I checked my email and found an email from Macy's saying that "Regrettably we had to cancel your order because we were unable to verify information provided in connection with this purchase. We've requested a reversal of your payment with your financial institution. The exact amount of time until your payment is reversed is determined by your financial institution." Knowing that there is no problem with my bank account, I decided to place the order again, and within seconds I received the same exact email.
I decided then to call the Consumer Protection number provided in both emails and explained the situation. The Consumer Protection representative, without asking for information to prove my identity, offered to place a new order but told me that, regrettably, I had to wait 4 to 7 days to be reimbursed for the previous two orders. I asked for immediate reimbursement of the canceled transactions. Saying that the reimbursement date depends on the customer's financial institution is a complete lie. Then, she offered to give me a code so I could call my bank and obtain the refund sooner. The representative was able to obtain a code for the first transaction, but not for the second one because it was too recent.
I asked what information Macy´s was unable to verify, and the representative told me that she couldn't provide me that information. I explained that I used one of the cards registered in "My Wallet" for a long time and that the only difference is that I usually use my desktop computer to place orders, but this time I used the mobile application. I asked to talk with the supervisor, who told me the exact same thing as the previous Customer Service representative.
I will not buy again at Macy's. They should invest in good informatics that guarantees the security of the transactions instead of choosing solutions that only affect the clients. As soon as I receive my refund for the canceled transactions, I will unsubscribe from all Macy's emails and I will do my best to try to return all advertisements I currently receive. Enough is enough.
They say 3-4 business days for standard shipping but It took 7days for my shipment. I received an email saying that my order has delivered but nothing was delivered! I called there customer service and all they could do was reship it and told me its gonna take 6 days more to deliver! Horrible!
I have ordered a sofa half of the year back, during all 5 months Macy's shop delayed the delivery sending apologies and keep promising the delivery of the item.

This is the third time i am in the Macy's furniture shop trying to get my money back. I told that i need this money to send to Ukraine to my relatives, unfortunately the war is happening there and they need help. What i faced is

I ordered the Candace queen bed (on sale of course and while on the surface, the bed did look good, until further inspection after unpacking it, I noticed the following issues. The bed arrived with a big hole in the back of the headboard as well as the wood on one of the legs was chipped off. Apparently Macy's QC team and Factory inspectors need to be retrained on looking for defects in their product because this bed should not have left their warehouse in that condition. And as I left this same review on their website over a week ago, Macy's has not posted so this is why I'm posting it here.
First time i order from macys online worst decision ever package never received package is no where to be found. They send it through ups and then transfer it to post office where they lost it and they don't know anything about it. It is crazy that clothes that I received look very cheap with very low quality and the price is not fair even after sail. I ordered an item through Macy's Bridal registry, after putting item in your cart, then they immediatley took you to payment, which was completed and was accepted, but after payment was accepted, and order # given- that was it, there was no way for the bride to know who the gift was from. Either Before or After payment, site should've had a way for buyer to put a Gift message to bride, and also to have the option of Gift wrapping, if desired. I did use PayPal, which took me out of Macy's main site, but after payment, should've taken you back automatically to Macy's site- it did not. When I realized this, I immediately went to their Customer Service site that tells you if you ordered within 30 min, you could amend your order, so I clicked on that, but it takes you to one of those pages that says, " Sorry, website not working", so I Call Customer Service, & someone in heavily accented English, that was very difficult to understand, tells me they "cannot help me". So, I had no recourse than to call the Bride's Mother( who I never met), and tell her about this fiasco, so the bride would know this gift was from me. Very humiliating. Will never use Macy's again. Their prices go up, as their Customer Service goes down.
