After listening to three annoying commercials, they then told me to call *******600 which is Free411 (a directory service) which is also filled with commercials you must listen to before getting any options. HORRIBLE experience. Spent $20 in customer service phone call charges to track my package because they ghosted me for 9 days. They wouldn't tell me where package was and I waited 40 mins to speak to someone. Finally received package damaged. Customer service just types a bunch of polite gibberish without offering much help. They will totally ignore your complaints but tell you how much they appreciate your patronage. It's a NO for me.

I've been a platinum customer for many years and when you click on same day delivery the store you choose never has the merchandise. If you decide to ship it and wait many days, you might be ok, if you decide to call customer service that's an issue. The customer service team seems to just care about getting you off the phone. I even spoke to a supervisor that said I needed to call another department to complain. I don't plan on using my platinum card again.
I purchased an item online and had to return. The item was received and marked accordingly. Their policy that pops up says refund will be issued in 3-5 days with no specification on type of payment. I called because it had been over a week. I was told that was only for Macy's credit card purchases and any other form if payment would be 10-14 business days. Macy's website is very glitchy—bouncing around on the page and as I click on an item I get an 'access denied' message. I thought it was just my phone, but it happens on my windows laptop too. I love the products that Macy's has to offer with their incredible sales, but our local store shut down and my only option is online purchases now. If Macy's can not provide an easy efficient website they will be losing a loyal customer. It would be more helpful to the customers if they made the returns easier like Amazon does. That way we don't have to worry about printing off our own return labels.

I added two dresses to the cart. When I checked out and a message popped up said that one of them was no longer available. After I checked out with one dress, I found that the other one was still available online. So a couple minutes later I called customers service to ask if they can add it to my existing order. But they can't. I called customers service again about 15 minutes later. I would like to cancel my order and I will buy them again together. But I was told that I couldn't cancel it. That was so wrong. I have to pay the shipping to return it. So be careful with your shopping online with Macy's. It is not free shipping, not free returns and you cannot cancel it after you placed the order!

When this never happened after a week I called again and received so many apologies for being unconvinced and that was after waiting for over an hour. I was asked again if I wanted it re-shipped again. I laughed and just asked for a refund. Of course the refund will take 5 days. Business days of course. Macy's is trash.

Macys totally screwed up my online order. They shipped me a package with my name on it and someone else's order inside. After several calls to their customer service center, which happens to be located outside the country,(thanks for giving those US jobs away!), they still couldn't distinguish between an actual jacket and a sweatshirt.
