RUN FROM LG

This was just emailed to LG by me: These are my broken dishes because your dishwashers are a POS. I boought this new. I have had 4=5 service calls I think. Well, they can't fix BAD ENGINEERING AND NOW ALL MY DISHES ARE BROKEN AND THERE IS GLASS ALL IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WASHER. The arm just sits on the plastic rack as you know. No appliance man can make it stay without becoming an engineer with you and desgining a new machine. I live aloe and have
MS. Now I have no dishes and i can't use the dishwasher because i can't get down on the ground and pick all the broken pieces of china out of the bottom. I want all my dishes replaced as well. This is terrible selling ppl these machines. I myself have been putting the arm back on for 3 years now but now i have no dishes to wash and couldn't if i did due to the china all over the inside of the washer. I want something done about this. Now i am dying. I can't stand up to do dishes...not that i have many left now.

Bitter experience...

I am extremely disappointed with the performance of my LG LED TV and their poor service history. I purchased a 65" LG LED TV in Trivandrum just over 2 years ago, and now I have encountered a serious issue - there is no display. When I contacted LG customer service, they informed me that the LED panel needs to be replaced, and the cost of this replacement is nearly Rs. 55,000.

I originally spent close to 1.45 lakh on this TV, and now, after only 2 years, I'm being asked to pay an additional 55,000 rupees for repairs. To add to my frustration, I've noticed that new 65" TVs with a 2-year warranty are available for just 65,000 rupees now.

I have come across similar complaints from other users, which makes me believe that this could be a manufacturing defect. Despite numerous promises to resolve the issue over the past 2 months, I have not received any satisfactory resolution from LG.

Based on my bitter experience and the experiences of others, I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing an LG TV to think twice, as I have lost faith in their product quality and customer service.

On December, 27th 2023 I ordered a part on LGPARTS.COM. Because was written "for all LG refrigerators" I thought that would fit mine, but the part was too small, then I returned it on January, 4th 2024. The part was delivered on January, 5th 2024. On January, 9th I sent an email asking when I was would get my money back and got a response from LGPARTS.COM saying "credit will be issued in 3-5 business days. I waited until the 6th business day, checked my bank account and no credit from LG parts on my account. I emailed them once again and again all I got was apologies but no my refund. Every time I contact them, all that I have from them are apologies and "please wait 3-5 for a refund. Today, 02/06/2024, a month after I've returned the part, I still haven't gotten any money back from them. I, then sent an email asking to return the part which I had paid $128.76. My response "We apologize for this inconvenience. A request has been resubmitted to issue refund. Please allow 3-5 business days for credit to post." This was 5 business days ago.
This is the worst company I've ever seen. Don't recommend to anyone!

LED tv and we got the delivery of the product late and also at the time of installation I got the time commitment but the installation was not done on time the
Technician was abusing to the customer as I was having a conversation with my friends and the technician thought I abused him and after tha the technician call and with out any clarification the technician started abusing badly so please i would request to have a lookin in this matter thanks

I have got LG 5 so far I enjoyed this phone because its camera resolution is wonderful! BUT ghost screen apperead just like the other lg users did! I am so disapointed with the screen. DON'T BUY LG PHONES THEY HAVE FACTORY DEFECT!

Purchased a portable Air conditioner from them, what a POS, worked good for a week starting freezing up, service guy came out tore it apart drill holes in it, put it back together said it was all good, after he left I noticed it was missing screws, and he had left his screwdriver, and the unit was still not performing, tech returned broke the foam in the ac that you could clearly see from the top, once again said it was fine, it wasn't. My sons room needed a ac as well and I purchased another lg ac which was about half the size of the original unit, his blows colder and harder than ours, logged 2 more service calls where a guy came out with a laser temp gun and said its working its 10 degrees colder than the ambient air, called LG e mailed LG several times, after being promised by a manager at there customer service he would take care of it and get back to me in a couple hours, I had to reach out to him a few days later to have him ask me after all this do you still have your receipt, even thought I registered it at time of purchase. Needless to say I told them im sure somewhere but why would they need it, I never heard back from them. Another Crappy electronics company.

I agree LG does not keep up their warranty services. LG promises 10years warranty for compressor snd do not provide And fulfill the wsrranty. I m suffering from may 10th 2022. Till today my compressir is not replaced as LG says the refrigerator model is no more and hence cannot provide replacement compressor... over and above informs that an amount of rs 5000/-will be paid to me and take my double door refrigetator of 350ltrs which was costing *******rs at the time of purchase. I m. A senior citizen of 66years and my husband of 80 years. This is mygrievance i have also complained consumer forum This is LG...

I purchased a washer/dryer combo during their Memorial Day sale. They delivered it damaged, and when we called to get it replaced their customer service ran us around for 4 HOURS refusing to allow us to speak to a supervisor, only offering a refund vs. a replacement. The item is now on their site for $700 more than I paid. I asked them to either replace the item, give us the refund + a $700 credit, OR re-order it for us for the price I paid. We spoke to 7 different customer support people who ALL refused to help, and all who said they have no way to get us to a supervisor who could help. First they said they couldn't transfer us. Then, they said we needed to speak with lg.com. THEN they said we need to speak with lg.com sales. Every time, they transferred us to the WRONG department and then said that they couldn't give us the phone number of someone who could help. I now have no washer/dryer, no refund, and if I want to have one I have to spend an additional $700 to fix their mistake. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE experienced more incompetent customer service.

Awful experience

Awful that's the experience I'm having with LG. My refrigerator still waiting for repair over five repairing men came but nothing. I'm still waiting for somebody to come fix the refrigerator the customer service is awful nobody cares about you at LG one person tell you one thing the other person tell your another. I would never ever recommend anybody to never invest their money in LG. I have experience racism disrespect from every service person they have sent I would never recommend it I have a two year-old I'm constantly going to the grocery store because I don't have a working fridge but nobody seems to care they keep passing me on giving me different information I'm very disappointed with LG never have I ever experienced anything like this from any other company I am never ever investing my money on LG product ever again I should've read the review before I invest in my money no management no supervisor people talk to you the way they want to talk to you very disrespectful. Every time they make an appointment for service guy I called out of work but no service guy shows up people tell you different thing the presidential lady texts me but she never follow up or make sure my problem has been solved. The appliance was purchased in 11/2018. In July 2019, the appliance stopped cooling and freezing. Between July and August, 4 different repairpersons worked on the same issue as it continued to work and then stopped freezing/cooling. After the 4th person, the appliance worked from August 2019 until June 2022. Customer service was contacted about the recurring issue and gave the option of repairing it, replacing it, or refunding the cost of it. I chose a refund. I was asked to send in the receipt and the information tag from inside the appliance and that it would take 3-5 business days to review. After a few days, I checked on the status of the review and was told the initial person did not submit the information for review; therefore, he would do it, but it will take another 3-5 business days. After 7 days and hearing nothing, I contacted LG again about the status. I was told I could not request a refund until a repairperson deems the appliance unrepairable. Please note: any extended warranty you purchase DOES NOT cover this issue. Additionally, after 5 years from the purchase date, LG will no longer send someone out to repair without charging you for the cost.

I bought an LG tv in Best Buy for the 2nd time and both times the tv has given me problem with the HDMI portals and i placed a 5 year warranty on the tv and i called and LG and they keep giving me the same information that it has to wait 7 days for someone to call and they can't switch the tv out and its all BS! Im still waiting for them to give me a call

I have been trying to work with LG support for about 2 months and 3 techs. One tech came out to replace the back of the TV, but was sent the wrong part from LG support. When were were putting the TV back up, he grabbed too hard and now there is dark marks on the left of the TV where he was holding and he knows he did it. He just said that after 48 hours it goes away (Yea right). So LG support was going to dispatch another tech and he came to look. Two days later he said he couldn't take the repair ticket because the part wouldn't fit in his car. LG Support tried to dispatch another tech, but it went to the first tech. I talked to him after 4 days of no contact and he told me he couldn't do the job because LG Support is still holding his money for the first part and he couldn't afford to get the needed parts. (what the heck...) So, now I have been TRYING to work with LG Support to get something done. Either give me a replacement TV or give me back my money. I had a LG Presidential Liaison call me and told me she was going to handle all this, but obviously I never heard back from her. I have called LG Support today 4 times and was transferred to two different departments. The first was teh RA Department where the girl asked for me phone number and the issue. Then she puts me on hold, and ten minutes later, i got disconnected. Now on hold AGAIN for over 40 min just listening to that dumb music.
I am shocked that a BIG company like this has poor customer service. I rank them right there with VROOM and their service. NEVER will I buy LG again,
This is ridiculous

LG Electronics is Worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a brand new LG 43UN700-B monitor and the unit did not turn on. Called LG 1st time, they told me to return it for repair, which I did. Received the repaired unit, and problem occurred again, called LG, told me to send it on for 2nd repair, which I did. Received 2nd time replaced UNIT on 07/28/2021, and within less than a week, the same problem occurred again. LG screen cracking, making popping noise, turned on and off intermittently. Called LG again, and they told me to send it in for repair for the 3RD TIME! Mind you in between the 1st time I sent it in till today, 2.5 months had elapsed. Waste of time, waste of my breath, and they refused to honor the fact that they LG technical department was not capable enough to identify that there is indeed a technical problem with this unit. They told me they replaced every part that they thought was causing the problem. Apparently not. They are not competent enough, which is causing all this frustration. I asked them to simply send me a brand new replacement of the SAME unit, not even a refund. They refused. So today on 08/05/2021, I received the 3rd label to send it in for yet another repair. Last time I will ever purchase a LG product. Worst company, worst quality, and worst customer service.

I purchased all my kitchen LG appliances including my refrigerator with model LMXC*******S from best buy back on 2017. My Fridge stopped cooling so I tried calling best buy where purchased it from and was told to call LG. I was told the compressor has warranty for 10 years but I would have to pay labor which is around $720.00. I purchased all my appliances LG but now I regret when I find out about the class action lawsuit. It is very disappointing to find out how many people are having the same problem with the compressor and being asked to pay for labor for problem that was known by LG. I also had the w worst costumer service experience over the phone an LG person who claimed to be a supervisor. He was doing something else while taking to me so he took forever to answer my questions. I constantly had to ask him if he is still there. So finally I just thank him for wasting my time and asked to transferred to do the survey. He said ok and hung hung up the phone on me. Good job LG for screwing your costumers and and treating us with no respect. I might have lost money and my time to LG and will never get help from LG to resolve the issue but one thing I want to do is I want to make sure this doesn't happen to more consumers. DO NOT BUY LG

Never call these 2 numbers *******000 or *******934 both the number can lead you to never ending routing to different "agents" who have no idea why they got this job or how they got. They keep on transferring to different department and to different agent who also then keep transferring to different places. THis is never ending process. Cant believe what LG have done to themselves. This is the company I was rooting for. Talking to what they call themselves "agents", I felt like I am being scammed (in fact, I think I am scammed because still no resolution to my concern). They will transfer you without even telling you that they are transferring. My order is stuck somewhere with no update where it is and on the site it says "return window closed" like what? I haven't even seen the appliance. This will not stop me though. I will keep on calling and I think everyone in their department likes to know people better so I guess they will get to know me. Anyways, I only recommend them if you like to talk to 100s of people otherwise save your PRESIOUS TIME.

It's been 7 days since my dryer went out. I paid $1200 for it 18 months ago. The main board is bad. I paid a tech $89 to come out. After arguing with them for 10 min LG told me they would replace the part. When I called back with the part number they told me they would not send me the part. Then I argued again and they said they would send the part but couldn't send it to me because they didn't want me to put it in. What? They needed my technician to call. When he did they tried to charge him for it. I called back - they then said they needed to send the technician an authorization to sign before they would send it to them because they didn't want the tech to use an off brand part instead of theirs.? She Told me it would take 3-5 days TO SEND AN EMAIL! Then called and told me they sent it. My technician has not received an email. I've spent $160 at the laundromat and 9 hours. I'm a newer widow that really does not have time to put this much effort into babysitting their employees. This is my 2nd set of LG washer/dryer. NEVER AGAIN!
