I am very disappointed in the service I received. They did not finish the job, blew wet grass all over my white patio furniture, damaged personal property, and they refused to take accountability. I will never use Lawnstarter again. You can't even reach anyone via phone. I got an email from someone, but she tried to send me on a wild goose hunt to dispute the incident, after already sending in a claim. I never heard back after that email.

They will promise the moon, and deliver nothing. Avoid at all costs, at least if you live in northeastern Ohio… The photo were taken after nearly 4-weeks of no-shows, and a recent obnoxious assertion that the lawn doesn't need to be mowed.

I'm currently stuck over an hour away from my property, and needed the lawn maintained. Lawnstarter took all of the hassle out of finding someone. The team has been out twice now and have done a fast, thorough job both times. I am very impressed and would recommend to anyone!

It took a few different service providers to finally find a very good lawn care professional, but LawnStarter did a great job getting me the right fit. Buck has been doing a great job and I am always satisfied with his detailed work.

I'm not usually one to post online reviews, but I feel compelled to write one here in hopes I can prevent others from having a similar experience. I was quoted $148 for a leaf cleanup and paid it to have them come out. Crew comes out and does maybe half the job, then after a bunch of back and forth they said it would be another $200 to finish the cleanup. It's been nearly a month now, our yard looks terrible, and they have been totally unwilling to come to any sort of fair resolution.

It looks like this company is getting the bottom of the barrel contractors to work for them.
They broke our window and tore our lawn hammock in all of 10 minutes.
Reckless abandon is an understatement.
Now WE have to go through the process of proving, estimates, repairs, etc.

I've had my ups and downs with LawnStarter. But they were recently bought out and let me tell you what - TOTAL 180. I'm SO happy I stayed. I have a gorgeous lawn at a great rate and the service is nothing but wonderful. Seriously.

There are a few reasons I really like LawnStarter. First, their prices were $15 less for my lawn than they guy I was using before. They have a great app where you can get notified of upcoming service. This is great for me because I have a dog and want to make sure the lawn is cleaned up before he arrives. I like how you can book additional service through the app. I haven't booked other services such as hedge trimming, etc yet but I will soon.

I was unfamiliar with LawnStarter but decided to take a chance. My first selection didn't show on the day they said. Admittedly, I got frustrated so I called LawnStarter Customer Service and they completely took charge. They got me scheduled with a new crew who showed up 48 hours later and went the extra mile on their service.

The site is easy to navigate and I just requested a new service through the app…it is so nice to have one place where I can organized all of my lawn needs. A+!

I recently signed up for new lawn mowing service with LawnStarter, and so far am very pleased. Scheduling and communication were easy, got before and after pics from the assigned professional, and at a reasonable price.

Beware! I've used Lawn Starter for about a year in Tampa, FL. Everything was great until the last few months. The crew destroyed 3 sprinklers; customer service only agreed to cover a part of my $164 bill to replace them. A couple months later, they damaged 2 more sprinklers. This time customer service rep, Kylie, wrote to me that it was my fault and refused to assist and reimburse me for yet another fix. They even refused to reimburse $$ for the service that caused the damage. Unacceptable and disappointing treatment of their customers. Will never use LS services again.

I met Darius when he came to do the yard. He was very personable and did a great job. Highly recommend. He mowed and trimmed the yard. He also picked up sticks that were not part of the scope of work which I appreciated.

We moved into an unfamiliar area and needed help keeping the yard cut.
LawnStarter popped up in a search so we gave them a try and have been please how it's worked.
They connected us to a crew led by Brian who leaves the yard looking great.

Brandon arrived this morning and providing quality service to my residence at 2538 Royal Pointe Dr. in Green Cove Springs. He was very professional and courteous, and I'm looking forward to him coming back in a couple of weeks to provide the same outstanding service.

We've used Lawnstarter for over a year. I was satisfied with the regular service we received. As of late, however, the mower has been late by days. We were just charged on June 21 when the mower didn't even show. That mower even damaged our grill cover but we said nothing. The incident that finally got to us is when that same mower caused a rock to fly into our window and cracked it. We made a damage report but Lawnstarter said they won't pay for the damages. We're not looking to scam them, we just want them to take responsibility for the damage their mower caused. Also, don't charge us when your mower doesn't show. We're not ones to write online bad reviews, but this is unacceptable. Picture of damaged window posted below.
