When I reached out to check on the order status and provided the information they asked for in the chat I never heard back from them. If I can get the product I would like a refund as my credit card has already been charged.
I never received an email alerting me that the book was delivered. On top of that, I received emails every other day regarding "hey, did you forget to order this book, use this coupon". So I was very concerned that my order did not go through or what was going on. I was tracking it online but the movement was sketchy and this was the first time I was sending a rented book to my daughters college. I've use Knetbooks in the past for my son and transactions were flawless. This time was not.

When I bought my textbook, they said that I would receive an email for each step of the shipping process. I hadn't even received any emails that it was even processed or shipped by the time it was due to arrive. I emailed customer service about it, and funnily enough, my book arrived five minutes later. I was a little stressed, but it turned out well in the end.
Entering Freshman year of college, I was hoping I could find a pdf of this textbook. I couldn't, and maybe waited too long to order a real copy. I ordered a little too close to move in day, and was worried it wasn't going to be shipped in time for my first economics class. However, the speed of shipping blew that date out of the water, arriving only a few days after my order. Saved me a headache, that's for sure, if only the textbooks I found out I missed would ship as fast.

I paid extra for expedited shipping so my book would arrive before classes started. However, the book didn't arrive until the standard shipment time so I emailed Knetbooks twice to get a refund on the shipping cost and they never responded
The "in stock" and "usually ships" timeframes were EXTREMELY inaccurate. I will not be using Knetbooks again. Do yourself a favor and stick with Amazon or publishers websites.

I ordered a boom for school. 2 weeks went by and did not hear anything from the company and my order was still pending. Cancelled the order and had to order from another company.

Book didn't arrive after two weeks. I contacted customer service and was told the book was on backorder and could come in any time. Another two weeks, still no book. Eventually I cancelled. I haven't gotten my money back, that appears to be a slow process too.
Ordered book days before accelerated class was to begin to assure I had it in time. Never received a tracking number as was told when ordered and had to contact the company when the book had not arrived 10 days after I ordered it. Was told it went out before a tracking number could be given. When book arrived 2 days later ( now 13 days from when ordered), there was clearly a tracking number on the package. So glad this is my last class and will never have to rent or order textbooks again because this was a bit stressful.

The title youordered was shipped directly from the distributor to you. The distributor did not share the tracking number with us before the item was shipped; therefore, out customer support agent could not the the information with you. Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page.
